  1. The bus trip from Jacob’s apartment to his parents’ home took 40 minutes, plus a ten-minute walk at the end. I asked how he made it so fast the night he’d gone there by bike. He explained how he’d taken his bike on the Metro and rode it from the airport to Dragør. He hoped his mom or dad would give us a lift to the nearest Metro station when we were returning tonight. That would shorten our journey time considerably. We arrived about seven thirty, which according to Jacob was fine, even if half

    Chapter 17

YES ! I hope Sacha got him right in the guts, so he can die painfully. Well done !
  3. I agree completely. And in any case with the things JJ has been through, throwing himself into a physical relationship wouldn't be credible - or healthy. Let Alex place him on a pedestal and court him gently, let them keep an outwards appearance of nothing more than friends, so as not to raise any suspicion in the bigoted little minds of the skating association, and let JJ win a few competions before someone brings out the bad stuff and breaks his heart. Although, I suspect JJ is quite capable of telling all of them to fuck off and mind their own business.
  4. I wondered about that, but having never owned a pair of handcuffs I didn't want to ask a silly question. I'm glad we can now dismiss the whole panic scene as Mark's way of having fun creating unrealistic drama.
  5. That was hot. Interesting that Mikhail had only been with his ex, and I can certainly understand his apprehension about getting involved with another guy in the closet. But I'm not sure whether he sees David as a once in a while conquest or something more. Time will tell. Why didn't Mikhail worry about the burst condom? David seemed experienced with male sex, so has he always been safe before this? Or am I being too fussy?
  6. I agree with the Alex analysis. need I say more...
  7. Nice date for JJ, and so far Alex has behaved perfectly and made JJ happy. I hope it continues like that for a long time and none of the family busybodies interfere. JJ could do with a bit of bliss and softly romantic dates. And I for one think Alex will be gentle about breaking things off eventually, and the argument of having to marry a woman for the same of begetting an heir will be acceptable to JJ. Although I'm fairly sure JJ does not think of the future in terms of boyfriends and forever after, since his skating is so important. He lives in the present and as long as Alex makes him happy right now, that's all that matters. If Will or anyone else tries to burst his bubble, JJ will have a fit - and quite rightly so. Just leave hm and Alex alone, for F... sake. But I guess that solution would preclude drama.

    Chapter 12

That should teach Will to get better quality sex toys. And I'd love to see the scene where he goes back to the shop and threathens to sue them and the manufacturers for selling faulty goods. I have faith in Zach being able to deal with the accusation, after all he's normally clever and devious. But maybe his emotions about being in love and having to keep it a secret will make it difficult. The worrying part is how that guy caught on to this after such a short time, either Zach and Will have been less discreet than they thought, or the guy is also gay and into Zach (this counteraccusation might be a useful ploy). I hope Zach comes to trust his coach enough to confide in him, since he could probably help, but I guess that would be out of the question.
  9. Wow lots of drama! First the surprise party, which was a great idea, and then the arrival of Andrew's parents, and finally the news that Jamie is pregnant. I liked the way Andrew dealt with the whole thing, efficiently and calm, he as certainly matured from finding his true mate. Thane was cool, too, I like him a lot. Why don't you write his story later ?

    Fair's Fayre

Nice to see Andrew and Jamie have some fun together. So cute how Jamie secretly wants to be wooed and romanced and taken with storm. But of course I wondered about the stomach pain.
  11. interesting with the mind link and how they worked on controlling it, the door image made a lot of sense. I'm glad they are being practical about the need to move, both for work and at home. Oh and another bout of sweet lovemaking at the end was the cherry on top of the cake.
  12. So hot and sensual and loving, just perfect. I'm glad they have bonded and will be together forever.
  13. I'm sort of neutral on the racing stuff. I like to read the description (like Irri I'm happy to be without the noise) mainly because Kier feels so strongly. I'm guessing Ribon sees this too, and he's ready to support his man in the one thing he loves to do, apart from the dogs and the kids. The fun part was Robin being so eager to get away from Bridezilla. And Kier in the shower, of course.
  14. Me too. He's good for JJ right now, and so what if it's not going to last forever. People should just leave them alone.
  15. and yeah from the above it certainly looks like Will is eager and "poised to interfere in JJ's love life" and of course asking Wade's advice and talking to Stef is such an immature and selfish thing for Will to do. but I hope they wait till they find out how good Alex is for JJ's skating and then just keep silent about this.
  16. thank you for being always helpful - even when faced with silly questions
  17. I liked the fact that Uriel was well aware of what they were doing, and choose a fairly benign way of telling them to stop probing and lives their lives the best way possible, while still hinting at having seen them happy and content in the future. With this avenue of adventure closed off, I'm looking forward to Abel focusing his abilities on dealing with the Council and their idiotic ways, including the lack of good training for telepaths.
  18. great list Bucket, but I'm not sure Wally knows Zach is gay. He may suspect it or fear it, but I'm quite certain Zach still isn't out to his parents. I think Wally's 'official' opinion is that Zach should stay away from Will so as not to be wrongly accused of being gay. Of course, he may still argue with Zach and run the risk of outing him, but I have faith in Zach's ability to stay cool. After all, he can easily use the argument that if Wally doesn't shut up, he is the one creating the risk of Zach coming under suspicion. And since I assume Wally still want his son to be a successful football player (in spite of all he does to ruin it), this should be an effective deterrent.

    Chapter 11

It's very telling that the first thing Will does with his newly achieved freedom is drive down to see Zach. But he may need to buy a couple of less flashy cars, if he wants to visit Zach in secret, since I'm not sure the excuse of visiting his Grandmaman will hold up forever. I hope Will and Wade finds out how important Alex is for JJ's skating success before they decide to interfere. I laughed at Will being all pissed off over being considered a slut.
  20. Andrew and Jamie are totally cute together, whether at home or in the office. I loved the line about not biting a vampire unless you're prepared for the consequences. The fact that vampires can be as dumb, resentful as misguided as Simon, somehow makes them more human ... or I guess that's not quite the right term ... hmm credible maybe ?
  21. if you've had concussion before, that's even worse. Tell your husband he needs to turn into a worrisome and strict guy and prescribe bedrest and no computers. Even I would rather wait for stories and have you get well quickly and with no after-effects. PS concussion does not prevent cuddles in bed, just keep it non-athletic

    Mika

You've certainly raised our expectations with this initial chapter, even if you do fall into the traditional gay werewolf mates pattern. Now all we need is for Luca to be a vampire. But I'll settle for him being a nice human being with lots of knowledge and ressources.
  23. Bloody scary, but at least you had someone to help you. Cool horse. Please take good care of yourself and let people cuddle you and serve you hot chocolate and cookies in bed. Your story reminded me about one I was told: this mountain biker found himself stumbling along a forest road with no memory of how he got there. He snapped to when a couple out walking asked him if he was OK. He said yes and kept on going, pulling his bike, and eventually ended up at home. But he did sort of wonder why they asked and what he was doing there... The last thing he remembered before meeting the couple was setting off down a small, steep hillside. He did have a GPS route tracker, and when he checked it later, it showed he had been motionless at the bottom of the hill for many minutes before wandering off along the road. I think he had to take some time off work with a concussion, and buy a new crash helmet, but otherwise he was OK. Other mountain bikers yelled at him in the forum for a bit, after he told the story. He was actually a bit freaked out as well, at how completely out of it he had been, his only focus to get home. I guess instincts can take you far.
  24. I'm so relieved that all of Ben's secrets were nice ones and went over well with Patrick. And that Patrick finally said those three important words to his man. Cool little Darrin had me laughing. But I'm a little upset you ended the story here, even if it was cutely romantic. How about an epilogue to see them living together, having fun, making up to years of missing out ? Oh well at least I hav Jeff's story to read now - I'm wondering if he gets together with Rob, but that probably wouldn't be a good idea. In any case I want him to find someone nice.

Thank you, Lisa, for once again expressing my feelings exactly. Just what Greg and that bunch of sissies around him needed. Someone to call him out on all the bullshit. YAY But the twenty lost years made me such a waste of time - although since Ben git two great kids out of it, maybe that's not completely true. Hmm, Ben may not know his boyfriend too well, I'm not sure Patrick is one to like surprises. Or at least not this kind.
