    Chapter 15

I'm pleased to see that some of the consequences I predicted from the Navigator dedication have come to pass. I'm glad Brady refuses to say anything about Silas, his instincts are good. While Silas may be OK with the dedication, particularly if it means he and Ian will reconnect with Emma, I'm certain Silas wouldn't want his story blasted all over the internet unless it was his own decision in order to expose his old church and their stupid ways and raise awareness on this matter. (sort of what you're doing here too) Good plot twist on Theo and very believable reactions from all involved. I guess Emma must have told Tim why she wanted to see the Demons and that she couldn't wait. Probably why he decided to take her to them before the concert, which is unusual, right ?

    Chapter 45

LOL, Rod just made a huge mistake. He must have forgotten Helena's warning about not pissing off a whole football team. I almost feel sorry for him, but on the other hand I'm gonna love imagining his face when he finds Todd, Ty and Paul looming over him on Liam's birthday demanding an explanation for having threatened Neil. I have faith in Neil finding a way to tell Liam, but I guess the difficulty is whether he believes Doug is behind this threat or not. An easy way out could be telling Clarissa during their coffee chat - except Liam joins then for that now, doesn't he? Oh and we never found out what Clarissa wanted to talk with Neil about. You're very clever by the way, having Rod and Doug put the worst possible spin on every little detail. Such as Neil not having mentioned Liam's name, which we know was for good reasons - and I bet if he had, then the idiots would have grumbled about Four-Dork making it even more public that Liam was associated with a 'loser'. Neil simply can't win either way. But I guess that's what prejudice and unreasonable hate is all about.
  3. Well so much for my suggestions, but we did get a bit of Clarissa, lol. The funny thing was I thought about mentioning Patrick, because I can't get enough of him, but I thought it was less likely he'd feature again, so that was a nice surprise. In fact I enjoyed everything about the AFL scouting and the agent contacting Deon, particularly Peter's talk with him about that. Also the discussion with Ty and Roger, I'm impressed at how well the brat is coping with his natural disappointment in being ignored as a potential AFL prospect (and we as readers love knowing better).
  4. Yep, that's the one. I love it when Jon exposes the stupidity and hypocrisy of Fox News and other media. This example was awesome.
  5. How can this be a surprise ? Look at my profile data.
  6. I've been reading the last three chapters as a preparation for tomorrow's treat. I can't quite work out what the theme will be. It's too soon for Liam's birthday, but I'd like to see him tell his friends about the plans. If they are dumb enough to ask if Neil will be there, Liam has the perfect answer. I'd like to see some development in Dave outside the football field. He's dong exceptionally well, and I'm hoping this aso spills over to his personal life. He still has lots of issues, but I'm hoping for improved confidence and hope for the future. We haven't seen anything of Clarissa for a while, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I almost miss her. I hope Liam invites her to his birthday (or he's an ungrateful bastard) and that Ty gets Deon to help out. I still think those two could do well together. Paul is another player I wish all the best for, including giving Deons older sister a chance. If Deon has told her what the problem is, she could suggest activities which woldn't cost money or prevent Paul from working. Such at talking in the clubroom after games or go for a walk in the park with Lorraine and Todd and the kids. Anyway, I'm sure what ever you come up with, it will be great. Ken, the ball is in your corner now.
  7. Hmm I like that idea, but perhaps not totally compatible with the presence of a certain delightful redhead. hmm choices, such difficult choices
  8. silly me I hadn't thought about that...
  9. Yeah, but he's just gone through some pretty stressful times with Amy pushing him almost continously. Not that I think she was wrong to do it but I'd have expected Adelaide to follow Silas upstairs and lie outside the bathroom to wait for him. But it's a minor detail - and easily added if Cynus wants to. To be honest I didn't think about it the first time I read the chapter, it only popped up as I was reading it again just now.

    Chapter 14

You know the most telling thing of all: Silas falls asleep with the thought of having a new home and I bet he sleeps for several hours and wakes up more rested than he has felt since he left the band. I was impressed once more with Drake's intelligence and ability to face facts and do what needs to be done - even if it will be painful. I loved the idea of Silas thinking only of the band having success and being delighted for his friends before he realizes the song is about him. That was very clever of you.
  11. This discussion makes me wonder why Silas didn't take Adelaide with him to the bathroom when he went up to have a shower. Or perhaps he did, but you don't mention it.
  12. Did any of you see the Jon Stewart show which featured the story about Caitlin? The part I found most interesting and also hilarious was where he documented the media slamming Jenner with the sort of put-downs and double standards usually perpetrated on women only.
  13. Lucky you, I can't do that. I can see any PMs, but I can't reply unless it's urgent and I can find a private moment. But people tend to look at you weirdly if you take your laptop to the restroom.
  14. It's still the 12th, so Tillykke med fødselsdagen from Denmark
  15. Well, I assumed she knew Ian because she reacted to his smell or something just before Drake met him the first time, but perhaps that's because Ian felt 'similar yet different' to her master. But you're right, she would be too old. Let's assume Silas was given her as a reward for doing well in scouting, then she's only about four years old.
  16. well there were things happening BEFORE the sex. I've done my editing, so it's up to JAR now. But perhaps he's too busy in Cali.
  17. that's because there's no answer so far, I haven't written the scene yet. But I will soon - I hope, but this forum is deliciously distracting. suggestions are welcome maybe that's why I can't make up my mind... and also to everything else. It's nice reward after a long day at work to be able to laugh this much.
  18. Send me a PM and state your preferences (gay, straight or bisexual porn) and I'll send you a link. To get most enjoyment of my smut you'd have to be OK with Bisex, though.
  19. No, I'm on it, but I have to wipe up the drool before typing edits. But I admit it was a bit over the top.
  20. You could have exchanged Harmless with Devious and it would be true as well.
  21. yes it is on the other hand, I only post romantic stories here, not my smutty stuff. So who am I to judge... and let me tell you, romance is such a challenge for me - espcially with dialogue
  22. Damn, I ran out of likes. I should have gone with another post. Anyway Rob is ready for his shower and
  23. Hmm, after Amy took his backpack hostage, I'm not suprised Drake didn't want to give her power over Adelaide. He knows she will do anything to make him stay, for the sake of Ian as well as Silas.
