    The Suicide

Brad should have broken more than the camera. WTF does that camera man get off, " just this once" If Henk wanted nothing to do with the film alive, i am quite sure he would not have wanted his death plastered on the screen!
  3. Think maybe i will try too. If my hamstring lets me!
  4. My head knows all of that, but the clostrophobe in me doesn't want to hear it.
  5. I am begining to feel like the mime in the box, and the box is shrinking.
  6. Like everything I have ever read from Feist.

    Under Assault

My bet is April's dad for reinforcement.
  8. At my age, that happens no matter what the temp in the room is!
  9. Bosses loss is our gain! I know you're not much on platitudes, but ... Illegitimi non carborundum
  10. Morning all. Has anyone heard from Mac recently? I have seen bits and pieces from others of our family who are being quiet ( Thorn!) But Mac...
  11. I agree Mike. And anyone who wishes may vent in my pm a y time. Warning, I am a fixer, and might try to come up with a solution.
  12. Household noise in the middle of the night? My household was fairly quiet after midnight even on the nights my daughter had four or five of her friends for a sleepover.
  13. With hubby now home and this mornings announcement this will continue thru end of April at least, we sat down and instituted some rules of our own, and made a to do list to keep us from sprouting roots. Chose an alarm time that represents sleeping in a bit but still gets us up and moving at a reasonable time. He accompanies me to the farm for my essential services time three days a week, the other two a comparable amount will be spent on our separate to do lists. A min of an hour each day will go to our joint to dos. Daily walks, weather permitting. Now, any suggestions how to keep from killing him when he starts kibitzing on tasks i have handled for the past 40 years?
  14. Military huh? That explains SOOOO much!
  15. THAT weed appreciation day is 4-20.

    The Visitors

And the oddest little thing can trigger it.
  17. Hubby's place just hit the dead spot because they can no longer get components, so he has been furloughed. Guaranteed work when things get back to normal, eligible for unemployment in the mean time. Mixed blessing. Good point, I am no longer climbing the walls alone all day. Bad point, how long before we are driving each other batty?
  18. Especially since he and Mike are both high risk.
  19. Is if you are the one that continued to do barn chores and teach riding through all of chemo and most of radiation therapy. Only took the last week off work and two more till the burns healed enough to start wearing my bra again. But then, I am also the one who was using crutches on the way into knee surgery, and walked out unaided.
  20. Seems like the longer at home the less "good" I feel. Not sick or particularly hurting with my injury, but just not me. Guess my coworker may be right, I am just not capable of goofing off without feeling guilty. Seems like I should be accomplishing things, but a lot of the things on my "to do" list are also on my forbidden until healed list.
  21. We needed a milk and bread run, otherwise I just hung out watching movies. Pretty much a typical rainy sunday sort of day. On a good note, this stay at home order is probably the best thing to happen to my hamstring!
  22. Interesting thing happened in our neighborhood this evening. We have a very popular friend fish place not fr from us, take out only, not a chair in the place. It does tend to get very busy on Fridays this time of year, but was not too bad today, with patrons keeping their distance while waiting and four patrol cars com roaring up, lights and sirens, and proceeded to state that there were too many peeps congregating, ( about 15 at the time) and told the proprietor to clear the block, or he would be arrested. The man chose to shut down for the night rather than argue. I think it was a bit of an over reaction. One officer coming in an talking with the owner could have accomplished the same thing.
  23. Closed captioning can help!
  24. I can't believe some people STUPIDITY. The state is systematically shutting everything down, implementing supply chain plans, etc. New York City has said a shelter in place order is being considered, yet our lesson program is only shutting down the beginners. Intermediate and advanced students capable of prepping their own horses are going to continue. Head of the program says she cannot afford to shut down. Interesting fact, beginners make up about 5% of her student base. They make up 100% of mine. Can we say short sighted?
  25. Beer fueled shenanigans huh? I will just keep safe.
