I prefer it down around 60*f (about 15*c) for sleeping, with a nice heavy comforter. Not so nice in case of midnight trips to the loo, but... Hey, at least I have a newfangled thermostat that brings the room up to temp before my alarm goes off, and I am not an off-grid peep with an out house! Give me modern plumbing any day of the week!

So far Charles has come down squarely on Wrens side in the fuss with the brothers, told Caleb he doesn't give a shit if the boy is gay, he still loves him, given the boys a place to co-habitate till the new place is ready, made suggestions on how to keep dry if there is a rainy spell, and suggested "they", being both boys, enjoy sharing the tent. Think your 'subtle" comment refers to the latter, enjoying the time together, but no matter how you look at it Charles and Tracy are going to be supportive. Oh, and he has actively joined the fight against the brothers in offering recon about Wades comings and goings. Hope cell service in the holler is good. I am afraid it is going to take both Charles and Tracy watching the road to keep the brothers at bay. Thought crossed my mind about the tractor incident. Before repairs are undertaken, they should call local law enforcement and report tresspass and destruction of property. Documentation may be important later. They may not be able to prove who did it yet, but eventually...
