Well no power at the barn means firing up the generator to do water, and cancelled all tonight's lessons. Hard to ride in a dark indoor arena with the lights out! One instructor was intending to teach outside in this! Had to stomp my barn manager boots and say no. Little kids would blow right off the top of the horses!

hey peeps Seems like the wind is everywhere. The trees behind my house have entered the whomping willow competition. Reader, I think the cherry tree out there may be the regional winner and go up against your local favorite! Give Mike a big hug from me! I agree with him whole heartedly! To the point where if I were near enough I would volunteer to hang with you and make sure you behave should he need to go out. Thank god my new neighbor does not have an alarm! The previous one did, and one of the crazy aquirrels (Yes the small fuzzy ones, not a batty human) thought it fun to jump off the garage roof onto the car and set it off. He would hang on the front lawn or tree till it stopped, then back onto the roof to start over!

Who says anyone has to be submissive? My best friend and her hubby are both very dominant personalities. Makes for interesting fireworks the once in a while that differences of opinion escalate!

Most lots here are painted to accomodate smaller cars, allowing more spots. My F350 by itself does not fit in these slots, Nose to tail it's about a slot plus 2 feet.

Considered doing the parking area and leaving the the drive itself gravel? Once moving if you don't gun it you will not dig it up.

I would LOVE it if he paved the trailer parking area!!!

My big problem is the mud! As the top layer thaws frequently with the temp swings we get about a 2 to 3 inch layer of soft mud that does not dry because it's frozen beneith that, then I try and get my trailer in or out and it's like walking through soggy oatmeal, sucking at your shoes and making it hard not to spin tires. Backing the trailer in it tends to slide sideways a bit too. The other people with trailers in our trailer lot are afraid to even try, and asked me to park for them! One owns her own trailer but hired me to take her to a show she was so afraid of the mush!

I am sooooo tired of weather whiplash!

Of course, the instance of ectopic pregnancy spontaneously aborting and /or bringing all sorts of complications opens a whole new field of discussion. Now wait a cotton picking minute! Not all of us with large vehicles have "dick mobiles"! I drive an f350 used for my horse transport business because I can't afford to insure extra vehicles. In most lots lately my truck does not FIT in one slot. I always park out in the boon docks where I can take two slots long as my truck would otherwise block the road if I stop at the line. I keep it to one slot wide, and if a small Car or motorcycle were so inclined they would fit in the left over space of the second slot. Be fair, it is not the size of the vehicle that makes it a dick mobile, it's the lack of courtesy of the driver!

What tim said, fresh freezes nicely. Hubby even likes to warm mine and put over vanilla ice cream. If you want a recipe, i have a good one.
