  1. Of course they do. My brother and sister-in-law have been doing a thing on Facebook where they watch potentially crappy Christmas movies and review them so the rest of us don't have to. They rate them from 5 💩 for the really bad ones to 5 ☃️ for the really good ones. Their reviews are hilarious.
  2. Good to see you too, molly! Sounds sufficiently clichéd and Christmassy.
  3. Nice long lie-in on a Sunday? EDIT: My sense of time is messed up. Nap, I'm guessing.
  4. Hey, everyone. Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Happy Sunday. I hope you're all well.
  5. Thank you, Cassie. Those are kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the story!
  6. Just thought I'd take a moment to mention that many non-binary people choose to medically transition in one way or another; it's fully possible that Taylor was assigned female at birth and micro-doses testosterone, which would make their appearance more masculine while remaining fairly androgynous. While proof-reading the story, I found myself assuming that Taylor was AFAB. It took me a while to realise that I was projecting myself onto them. I'm non-binary and trans masculine (I use he/him/his pronouns), and I felt like I saw a lot of myself in Taylor. It wasn't until Val pointed out that it's never mentioned what gender Taylor was assigned at birth that I realised I'd been doing it. And honestly, I think that's part of the genius of how this story is written and why I love it so much.
  7. Thank you for reading and commenting, Parker! I appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  8. Thank you, tim! Yeah, I've always found angels and angelic lore interesting as well. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment! I'm very glad you liked it.
  9. Another Christmas tune:
  10. Being queer and a politician is not a big deal in the UK. Politicians' personal lives aren't seen as all that interesting, for one, and there are several out queer MPs, some of whom have been serving since the 1990s. Coming out is not a career-ending move for a British politician in most cases. Most people just don't care. There are currently, if I counted correctly, 47 known out LGBT MPs in the House of Commons. There are 21 in the House of Lords. You're right on the actor front, though.
  11. Thank you! Yeah, there are some parallels to your story here, I think. Hope you like the ending too!
  12. Thank you so much, Tim! I’m so happy you enjoyed it, and thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it!
  13. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. It was a fun challenge, and I learned a lot writing it. And I love learning new things, so that worked out nicely. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment!
  14. Metatron is very complicated, I think. Alone among all the angels, he was once human. Thanks for commenting!
  15. Thank you! I'm glad you like Jair. Thanks for commenting!
  16. Thank you, Wayne. Thanks for betaing for me and for encouraging me.

    Chapter 3

This chapter was less frustrating than the last one. I kind of like Deidra. She seems like a confident, down-to-earth kind of person. But Jack should have had the guts to dump Alyssa before, instead of waiting for someone else to come along first. And he needs to talk to Damon, ffs... And now I have to wait a week to find out how it ends. Can hardly wait!
  18. Thank you for reading, and for commenting! I'm glad you found truth in it.

    Bring Home Bae

I know a lot of people do, it's just not a cultural norm like it is here.
  20. It had rained again all day, and the following evening found them no wiser than the one before. Epheriel was beginning to wonder if Jair was right and the danger truly had passed. Perhaps whomever it was had seen Jair fight Joseph and that had changed something in them. The angel had spent all day thinking about what Azazel had said. About how it was more powerful than it thought. How it could do everything the seraphim could do. It was not sure it believed it. But if it were true . . . Did

    Battle

Yeah, I might struggle a bit with that. I mean, I have a life. Sort of.
  22. Sherlock consists of four series with three episodes each, plus a couple of specials. The fourth series was released in 2017. I believe there are plans for more. The show has not been cancelled. I haven't seen Degrassi so I have no thoughts on that.
  23. Does he write paranormal and fantasy, though? I'm thinking Val might be onto something... So I'm gonna go with @CassieQ as well.
  24. Yes. Absolutely. And the sheer amount of fanfic and fan art out there probably made it worse, because the creators are very, very aware of it, as are the actors (Martin Freeman once mentioned a specific fanfic he'd heard of on, I think it may have been Jonathan Ross, but I'm not sure, and it's one I've read, lol!) So, much like with Dean and Castiel on Supernatural, they've definitely taken the fandom's obsession with Sherlock/John and run with it. It's frustrating as fuck, and yet we can't seem to stay away... He's talking about the one called Sherlock. The BBC's modern re-imagining one. Benedict Cumberbatch's Holmes and Martin Freeman's Watson is one of the most popular m/m pairings out there.
