  1. Thanks for reading it! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
  2. Loopy Mark was fun to write.
  3. Exactly this. And I had a similar experience... It was pre-puberty, but I was the kind of kid who fell in love left right and centre. One day, I fell in love with a girl and I was hella confused. As soon as I learned what bisexual was, I adopted it for myself.
  4. Just a note, a preface is not the same as a prologue. Also, this isn't the venue to discuss it. There's an older thread about prologues in the Writer's club, though.
  5. Pansexual people can be attracted to just about anybody regardless of gender. Omnisexual people are basically attracted to just about everybody, period. They ain't picky.
  6. Lol! Dang typos. I'll leave it for posterity.
  7. Thank, Wayne. Yeah, the secret is at least partially out.
  8. I would like to point out that sex is not necessarily a prerequisite for a romantic relationship.
  9. That's a really sweet story! ❤️
  10. Yessss! I was right. I mean, after Val guessed it, but still.

    Family Ties

At this point in the story, Lewis is 33 and Jason is three years older, so 36. So he didn’t marry so catastrophically young; 22 isn’t so uncommon. It was kind of a shotgun wedding, though; he got Abi pregnant. I’m glad you liked the story. When I started writing it, I only knew I wanted to write a Christmas story about them. I had no plan at all. Everything just happened. I actually had to edit Storms a little bit, as Lewis’s family situation changed from what he described in Daniel’s Christmas chapter. But I digress. Thanks for commenting. Glædelig jul!

There will be more little snippets like this from their lives. I don’t know if you’ve read the two stories that came before this or not. Thanks for commenting, and for your kind words.

Happy Holidays, Jeffrey! I’m glad you enjoyed the story and that you like these two characters. This particular story was not initially planned, but I do have a few more that are, so you will get to hear more from them. Thank you for commenting! ☺️
  14. That's so beautiful. Yours is a beautiful love.

We can't choose our relations, but I do think we can choose our families. Thank you.

Jason's good people. It's hard to break yourself free from a religious sect like the one their parents were part of. Thanks for commenting!

‘To Stephen!’ Rebecca raised her glass, as did the other teachers. School was out for Christmas, and she had splurged on a few bottles of Prosecco for a quick farewell drink for the staff. It wasn’t something she would normally do, but today was Stephen’s last day. ‘May you prosper in your new job.’ ‘Hear, hear!’ said Morton, who taught Maths. ‘Live long and prosper!’ Laughter rose from the assembled staff. They all raised their glasses and drank. Stephen smiled around at them. ‘Thank yo
  22. It's nearly Christmas, and Lewis decides to pay a visit to his estranged parents to invite them to his and Stephen's upcoming wedding. Lewis has always been the strong one. Now it's Stephen's turn. Yet another side-piece to Storms.
  23. The tarantula hawk is very unaggressive towards humans. You kind of have to want it to sting you, or step on it or something, at least according to this dude who got stung on purpose cause apparently that's his idea of fun. It's mostly only aggressive if you're a big-ass spider.
  24. I'm glad to hear it. Happy Holidays, Mac.
  25. This a good thing or a bad thing? A friend of mine on Facebook wrote today that she'd been wanting to have Christmas all alone for years and was finally doing it, and found it very nice and relaxing. Sometimes, solitude is exactly what a person needs. Sometimes not. Whatever the case may be, it's good to see you, Mac.
