Holy bat, Shitman!!!! It was soooo worth the wait. I thought that might have been what made Sarah change her mind about telling him. She just seems like that type of person. She knew he would have married her and helped raise Lex and the sacrifice of his complete happiness. 😍😍

I was more excited about hearing if you got the job than reading the next chapter!! Congrats, hun! I loved the chapter too and can’t wait to see how the meeting with Him goes. Won’t be easy on either of them. I cannot imagine learning I had an adult child out there I knew nothing about. Hope it goes well...for both of them.

To answer your Footnote, you did wonderfully. I had a difficult time choosing an emoji icon for my Like for this chapter. I think I hit a rollercoaster of every emotion while reading it. If Lex had seen my aura I would have probably looked like the Pride flag! You torn my heart apart and then put it back together by the end. It is sort of similar to the Japanese practice of Kintsugi, where cracks and broken pottery are repaired with gold to highlight the beauty of their imperfections. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kintsugi

Okay, Maurice is a bit nutty. I also laughed at myself when I eye-rolled while reading the Big Foot reference. Evidently My knee jerk reaction to Big Foot is it cannot possibly be real,but I’m having no trouble finding the werewolf in the story to be plausible. 😂 There is my great mental logic at work.
