  1. Two of the main Charas are gay including The 'Main' one, though one of the reasons I like it a lot is that's its more a story with characters who happen to be gay then a story about gay characters. you can find the five books in the series in the link that i posted above for free
  2. An amasing SciFi, the falcon banner series by Christopher Lydon. There's 4 of the books and the prequel listed here: http://www.crvboy.org/stories/cpl/s010/c01.html can also get them on Ebook if you feel like supporting the author.
  3. Another fantastic instalment eagerly awaiting the next one
  4. Fantastic Stories, some of the best ive read, definately recomend, seems to be updating at least once a month

Honestly if i was Finn id be uncomfortable in his situation, taking the whole gay straight thing out of it having to live with someone that has been crushing on you in the same way that Kurt has, would be extremely uncomfortable. Then also the fact that he wasn't really consulted on any of the decisions just kinda told and expected to like it would be a bit difficult as well. I think in many ways Kurt is just as much at fault as Finn was in this situation
  6. heh this makes the article seem a bit more likely http://yesbuthowever.com/bahrain-friendly-8136368/ thought it sounded a bit strange
  7. Heh I'm an Australian living in Canada atm seeing a guy from Bahrain we must be the friendliest couple ever
  8. depends on humidity with heat here, though i can deal with anything up to about 40c without to much sufferance, also fine with the cold which i think i ultimately prefer though thats just cos i love snuggling up and the snow got really shitted off this year it got to 32c in august which just is ridiculous

I agree with people in wishing that we didnt have to pick a worst one, i just picked one of the ones i havnt been to at random which seems rude to the sites owner
  10. heh it seems that the reponses are going against the stats, i got 2 out of 4 at least, left handed and 3rd son
  11. heh this had me devided, i love the Irish, it just does things to me but Scottish accents are all most a detracting factor i think top 5 in order itd have to be Irish French Canadian English (London) French US Southern (though i often cant decide whether i love or hate this one)
  12. I take it as it comes, no hard and fast rules that being said ive never had sex on the first date though ive had plenty of one night stands (mainly while traveling though) i guess if i want to date someone im more inclined to wait a little but that is by no means certain so basicly i do whatever feels right at the time
  13. heh basically they are just speedos that cover the top of the leg as well http://www.aussiebum.com.au/de/swimwear/822/sky/
  14. Don't mind speedos so long as the guy has the body to pull it off, though have to agree with xeran, I prefer the mini trunks
  15. I actually went for the rich guy the average guy just seems like hed be a bit too clingy for my liking. the lack of ambition wouldn't be the thing that bothered me it would be more hes too fixated on me heh honestly i probably wouldn't go for any of them
  16. I would either invest in a guide book like Graeme suggested or just check out one of the gay free papers when you get to a city(record shops are good places to find them), every city seems to have them and they are generally a really good guide on events going on as well as a lot of the pubs and bars. other than that the web is all ways a reliable and easy way to find what's on where, just google (name of city) gay guide and you'll generally come up with a couple of web pages which at the very least are a good place to start. I've done a fair bit of travel round the world and had a lot of hilarious nights and one thing I'd suggest is trying to find the smaller local places, ive found is the meat markets of the big clubs are the same everywhere really, and I've met a lot more interesting people and had a lot more fun and random nights going to the smaller places and just going with the flow. Heh met more interesting AND cute boys at the smaller places as well instead of just the latter which seem to haunt the clubs a bit world over. Also even if there's not a gay village gay bars tend to be in relative proximity to each other so if you find one wonder around and you'll probably find a few more, oh and keep an open mind. Heh i remember once wondering into a bondage club by accident in London and spending most of the night talking to a Master before he had to stop and go 'punish' his 'slave'. Basicly the best bet is treating it like you do the rest of your travels, keep an open mind, try and be as friendly as possible go with the flow and you'll have an awesome time.
  17. Found these mixes the other week they're awesome, basicly its just a bunch of samples from people playing instruments on youtube thrown together to make tracks / music videos main site: http://thru-you.com/ Tracks 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Blew my mind first time i heard em
  18. the biggest problem ive allways had as people keep mentioning is just procrastination and movtivating myself so how i managed to lose wieght and keep it off in then end was by just signing myself up to events basicly. for example how i first got into it was commiting my self up for an event called the bridge to brisbane which is basicly a 10k fun run, then said i was going to run the whole thing. since this gave me a difinitive goal and time line i found it really forced me to commit and stick to my training plans and things. and its something you can adjust to keep pushing yourself a bit, for intsance since then ive gone on to do half marathons and reciently triathlons, and while sometimes it can be hard finding apprioprate events at first once you get into it there on all the time. ive also found it gives an extra sense of purpose and achivement to it escially when you reach that point where while your not 100% your reasonably happy of where your at.
  19. You could take insperation from london and go with the ever so subtle 'G-A-Y' other than that some other club names that have stuck in my head are Heaven Divas Flamers The Rabit hole alot of gay bars have as cheesy names as possible ive found Pounding Orion The Velvet Nebula Cockpit The Black Hole are the best so far imo
  20. definitely loved it
  21. Dt's are actually most common word for them that i know actually (stands for dick togs). i know the beach they were at very well, used to fwd down it alot with the family, you actually have to be very careful along it, there are heaps of tiger sharks that swim around it and their actually one of the more dangerous sharks as their rather agressive. ive seen them swimming up and down the break numerous times when ive been there and never personaly swim beyond the break for that reason. but they had a look out so they would of been safe anyway but yeah anyway great chapter CJ
  22. Most airports actually these days with wheel chairs make them checked luggage and provide a wheel chair for use in the security areas on either end, and in terms of someone being able to use crutches they would of definately required that the wheel chair would of been checked luggage im relatively certain. In terms of tarmac laws in australia you are actually permitted on the tarmac under supervision on domestic though it is not qantas practice(utnless its a regional flight) and im not sure if it is the practice of any international carrier or legal in the international termals. But yeah the Scooter would of all most definately have to of been checked baggage or would of been sent through the x-ray machince if foldable enough to be cary on. however as everyone said before its unlikely that anyone could of possibly reconised the switches for what they were and they certainly wouldnt of been what they were looking for so they definately could of been transported like that
  23. Ive actualy seen alot of good flick recently both mainstream and gay. in terms of gay flicks Trick - the main character is this is so cute you just want to hug him the entire film Poster Boy - a really interesting film about a consurvative anti gay senators gay son The Heartbreak Club - a really good pritty light film 9 Dead Gay Guys - british and done in a kinda style reminacant of lock stock and two smoking barrells and snatch Friends and Family - a film about a gay couple who are bodyguards/ enforcers for the mafia a really good funny film are some awesome ones i can think of of the top of my head. in terms of mainstream films really enjoyed 300, Transformers, Blood diamond recently then Donnie Darko, Eurkle, Requim for a Dream, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club less recently
  24. Graeme i think your giving aussie current affair programs too much credit, their just as biased in their protrayal of events i can just imagine Anna Crossent reading this now: "Hotels Filthy little secret, a Today Tonight exclusively reveals hotels disgusting cleaning habits, how youve been deceived, putting your life as well as the lives of your children at risk" and the others arnt really much better
  25. I actually saw a really interesting documentary the other day which is extremely relevant to this argument, it talked about the response to AIDS in Australia when the disease was first discovered and dealt with the arguments whether by supplying preventative measures in terms of the spread of the disease for illegal activities (in the doco they discussed drug use as well as prostitution) you are in effect condoning it and aiding these activities. The big one in terms of controversy was supplying clean needles for drug users, and basically the conclusion the people in Australia who were charged for preventing the spread came to is it is a far lesser evil to provide and in this abstract way 'condone' this illegal activity and help greatly prevent the spread of the disease not just to the users and the offenders themselves but also their Wives and sexual partners then it is to ignore it. The evidence lies in looking at the results as well, Australia was far more successful than a majority of countries at fighting AIDS at that early period. The exact same principles apply to this case, sure an inmate breaks the rules has sex doesn
