Well, I never even thought of Joe (Lump) when typing that. I was thinking of all the little illegitamate Scars you have left around the world. I guess Joe could always turn to the darkside again if things don't work out to well for him. What a great plot line than the evil former lead singer of Instinct trying to avenge his poor misunderstood father's early demise .

Due to not have internet conection for a couple of days, please excuse my late response, but first............... Thank you CJ for an amazing story . Your dedication to posting on a weekly basis, and even trying to post on the same schedule while on holidays is remarkable. You told us that the next chapter would be Eric's chapter and you delivered that to us. You also included the rest of the cast to keep the story in sync . A pause in your busy schedule is a must so you can take a bow for your accomplishment. We all salute you and encourage you to continue to use your gift to bring satisfaction to not only yourself, but your many readers as well. Unfortunately, I sadly do have to point out a major cliffhanger. It has been lurking around for a while and this sentence popped out at me at the end of the story: That sentenance reeks of something the Scar would say!!! Remember way back when, The Scar was spreading his seed with unknown hookers in foreign countries? Whose to say he did not put aside some money for a Scar Jr. to be raised to continue on his practices and ambitions? Yes, the Scar is dead, but what about his possible heirs?

Good point, we've had so much rain in the southern part of my province, there is no fire bans in effect. Geez, after the characterization of "Graeme" in the story, you expect us to believe this post of yours ? Just kidding.....I don't think I'm ready for acupuncture quite yet. As far as the story goes, I was impressed with how CJ used Israel and exactly how he used them in the story. I think I brought up the fact several chapters ago that Helen and General Bradson were kind of limited to which countries they would be able to go to with the bombs. I had eliminated Israel due to their perceived image of being an non nuclear country. So here is my big question, Israel is looking at the bombs and have paid Helen 5 million more than what she and the band had paid. But when the Israelis are done with them they are giving them back to Helen and and band. Does this mean that Helen and Instinct are still going to be stuck with two live nukes, or are the Israelis going to strip the bombs and give them back two useless shells? I'd also imagine with the influence of an Israeli government on the US government, all charges will be dropped and the Undersecretary will be sent scrambling looking for some place safe to hide.....like Australia . I'm going with Gunther, since he was really the original Jim. I just felt in the scene where Gunther and Jerry were competing for the bands attention of Rome, I thought that maybe CJ could fit this character the most.

Sorry I'm late, but thank you very much for the chapter CJ (plus many thanks for all the chapters that I missed saying thanks for ). Well, in a way I'm sorry that Jerry is gone. First off by offing such a major character in both LTMP and Cliff, I feel that it is indeed an end to the series as there is no major villain left. So yes we have closure to Jerry's death, but we essentially have a death of the story too . I have to say I feel sorry for CJ. I'm sure killing off Jerry was not an easy thing for him to do. After all it is quite apparent that CJ took a lot of pride in writing his villain and maybe even could relate to Jerry himself . Let's hope that this is as far as CJ takes any 'real' Jerry actions. Writing them done is quite enough . Now remember I'm still being heavily medicated before you read this following bit. I am going to miss Jerry Clump. Ever since his first introduction in LTMP, he grew on me. NOT necessarily in a positive way, but in a way that the story would not really be complete unless he was in it. And as CJ points out, so much in the story would not have happened if it wasn't for Jerry. He has definitely been a main player in the two stories. Okay, feel free to throw your rotten tomatoes and such, but hey, it is just my opinion . Thanks again, Steve

Hi All, I want to thank you all for your well wishes and especially Viv for her continued efforts to keep you all informed as well as her personal support as well. Yes, indeed I am in a rehab centre for the next while, where I will get fitted with a prosthetic in the near future, and then it will be time to learn how to walk again. I finally have been weened off the more powerful medications that were causing havoc with my concentration (believe it or not, I was getting bored after a paragraph of CJ's stories , luckily that has been corrected). So with my not so reliable intenet connection, I should be popping in here more often as I still have some down time every day. Thanks again to eveyone and we'll see you around. Steve

Hey CJ and all, So this will be like my first post in seven weeks I think, but finally got off the drugs enough that I could get back to some much anticipated reading. I've got caught up ot Chpt. 46 and just have two minor comments about the chapter (don't want to exhaust myself, LOL) One, thet Francois, what a GREAT guy. I mean how many people would be willing to step up to help Jon out with Jane. The world definitely needs more men like him. Two, that evil, evil, evil Undersecretary Graeme. Who the heck does he think he is? Personally I feel he has now stepped over the line as far as the evilness factor goes based on selfishness and has exceeded Jerry's low levels. What will we do with the evil Graeme I ask. Oh, I should mention that I have been reading and even with having the next chapter readily available, the cliffhangers are as large as ever!!! Good to see that you have all bases covered CJ, LOL.

Good Evening all. Please forgive any typos in this post as I'm still receceving a farily good dose of percacept with Morphine for pain. Kinda makes you see double, and have fat figers. Thanks to everyone who has popped into here and left wishes. My sister has been coming in and prininting off the comments and reading for me here in the hospital. A really big hug to Vivian for keeping in contact, and I wish so bad I could get into MSN to let you know that I miss you. Until I can figure how to breaddown a hospitall firewall, no chat for moi. So it has been one month since I arrived here unexpectedidly, but very greatful to be alive. We have discontinued the surgery every second day this past week and things seem to be going our way for now. Our way is to beat a very nasty infection and be able to do a couple of skin grafts before a decesion has be be made on amputation, but were not discussing that word No expected day to get out, but still hoping for sooner now than later Sorry, starting to tucker out here, so all my love to all of you and hope you are all doing okay. Okay, so some things we do know, and some questions. We know now that Yuri and The Scar have located the storage unit of the other two nukes. I imagine the scrapped walls and the tire marks will lead the two to the unit quite easily. Since The Scar seems to think things through logically, he should be looking for a unit hidden from the surveillance cameras. We also know that the highway is now two lanes going north. Not until the majority of the people have fled to the the north, will a south lane open up. This means not only will the crew member with the Jetta won't get back, but Felicia and Brian, and Yuri with the bomb on the hotel bus will make it either. My question would be, is Felicia and Brian closer to the resort than Yuri is with the bomb? They went all the way back to the hotel to check with Horst, so why didn't they come upon the truck with the bomb, or Yuri with the bus (and now the bomb). Or did they take the bomb to the airport already? With Yuri taking the time to exhume Jim and Linda, and since it happened on the side of the road, why hasn't anyone else seen them? Maybe the farmer is the key to this question. Last serious thing I wanted to mention, The Scar is assuming that the Instinct group is unarmed, as he has seen Felicia or the General as of yet. I imagine he'll be surprised when he comes face to face with a RPG and MK 47. Oh, and if the Scar ends up in the pool again due to a drunken Eric, would this be considered the pool party that Conner has been waiting for?

Hmm, I think the goat is trying to tell us to back off on the castration. If it happens, the full weight of the law will be after us. Well, not to counsel here , but isn't the whole premise of the US justice system Habeus Corpus (You shall have the body)? The way I figure it, we are not planning on killing the goat, but in fact castrating the goat, thus the Habeus Testiculurus would take place. Show me the balls . This will be hard to do after a nice stew is made with CJ's nuts and dined on by all of his beloved fans . I don't think your about to be elected mayor anytime soon CJ, and you might want to consider getting a steel plated cup fitted if you continue down your current story telling path

Great story CJ From the opening line: I was saying to myself, what day doesn't it begin in the east and knew I was in for a great laugh and story. Needless to say, I was not disappointed.
