  1. Happy Birthday Eric Here's hoping you have a great Birthday!!! What the hell, you have permission to have a couple shots of tequila on us
  2. Don't sweat it CJ, we'll just blame the new guy
  3. I'm sure your reading list is full for the next couple of weeks , but I thought I'd throw out another one to you. From Behind Those Eyes by Viv has to be one of my favourite stories of a Jock and geek (well maybe not geek, but the school's gay guy) in highschool. Enjoy! Steve
  4. Congratulations.....or Condolences You choose Jan
  5. BLASPHEMY!!!
  6. Shouldn't you be using this one----> Geez, you make that sound like a kidney stone You must be slipping in your old age
  7. Nope The antichrist (someone referred to him as that) has been banished.....yet again . Hopefully his evil minion will be next to go I'm in such a good mood, here is a hockey related joke: My Dad Is Gay Little David was in his 5th grade class when the teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up -- fireman, policeman, salesman, etc. David was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father. 'My father's an exotic dancer in a gay bar and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he'll go out to the alley with some guy and make love with him for money.' The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some colouring, and took little David aside to ask him, 'Is that really true about your father?' 'No,' said David, 'He plays for the Tornto Maple Leafs but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids
  8. Oh, silly me . I get it now, your forum, your rules .
  9. Okay, back to CJ's original post: Now lets look at some facts to be entered as evidence: From LTMP 45:
  10. I know it is not unusual to find really bizarre and unusual forum topics in the Goat's pen, but today made me realize something. Could our goat be in danger of losing another one of his coveted titles? As a few moments ago, I noticed something that I'm sure CJ is very alarmed about Overall Post Counts: C James - 7740 AFriendly Face - 7533 Could this be a sneak attack by Kevin on the long held title of CJ? :2hands: A difference of 207 posts is a very narrow margin. What do you think? Steve
  11. Guess I've always enunciated his name as grey-em, no h
  12. Then again, if I made this promise/obligation, I might want to remain anonymous too
  13. Uhhhhh , Who, or is it whom?
  14. You tell me why I'm soooo happy
  15. I think you can relax Eric , I don't think any self respecting Herder would allow his goats that earn his livelihood anywhere near dangerous cliffs. Therefore, CJ would be totally out of place and probably run off looking for a cliff to play on
  16. I don't know, I guess maybe I am getting wrapped up too much in the whole gay vs. christian thing. I still believe Adam was the better singer. On a side note, last year's Canadian Idol outed himself at the end of this It was then known he was gay. He went on and continued to dominate throughout the competition and ended up winning. Funny thing is that there was no media comment or coverage on the fact that he was gay. People voted based on the talent up on stage and that was it. Maybe there was the homophobe vote out there, but it wasn't enough to make the true winner win. In case you want some more, here is some of his better performances. Too bad the quality isn't too great on YouTube. I guess I was hoping that the US was getting more accepting of things .
  17. Glad you started this thread I was just thinking should I start one called "Did America get it Right?" Truthfully, I didn't watch the show too much this season, but did start paying attention the past couple of weeks, One thing that was very apparent was that Adam was leaps above all the other competitors including Kris. I don't claim to be an expert or anything, but take out the looks of the two competitors and just listen to their voices, their range, their emotion and I would have to say Adam won. Shocker, yes. Even though Simon can be a jerk at times, did you notice he was the only one that didn't get up and applaud the announcement? I think he felt that America got it wrong this time. Also, maybe my bias , but it didn't seem like the audience was fully behind congratulating him either. It seemed to be more of a 'polite' congrats. I would really really really hope that Adam's sexuality did not play a role in the outcome, but unfortunately it makes you wonder when one person is leaps and bounds ahead of the winner and the lesser of the two is selected . I guess the only real consolation is that I bet in a years time, America will know Adam Lambert's name from what he is going to accomplish over the next year, where Kris will have his record deal done and thats about it.
  18. Well I guess I'm glad that Yuri encountered the truck on it's return to the resort. I guess that means that Jerry and Yuri did not see the same truck leave the resort earlier. There is some question though what Jerry will deduce when he finds out that the bombs are not at the resort. Then again, I don't really thing that he is expecting the bombs to be there. Did he not send the majority of the mercenaries to the airport to acquire the bombs which he believes are still with the Herc? Unfortunately I believe Jerry's mission on the west side of the island is strictly to exact revenge on Eric. His anger and dislike of him and the other band members must be big enough that he really isn't concerned about the bombs as he is of taking out them. One other thing I thought of, in LTMP, Jerry entrusted Dimitri and others to eliminate Instinct. Also, anyone that did actually encounter The Scar when he was in a killing mood actually died. So who's luck is going to run out? The Scar's 100% batting average in killing people, or Eric's average of getting out of trouble?
  19. Happy Birthday Myr I hope you had a great day. Steve
  20. Hmm, not to stir up the pot any (not me, lol) So as much as I loved the tender moments between Eric and Jansen I do have one question that you may or may not choose to answer. From the text, are you saying the 'corny' lines that Eric has used on women in the past is all that is needed to bed a woman ? Are you saying that men need less tender moments between them? Actually CJ, I know you are not fond of writing love/sex scenes, but once again you did this one very well and leaves it to the readers imagination. Well done .
  21. O M G ! ! ! Did Jensen not get the memo that said Do Not Tequila The Eric???? Great chapter CJ, and thanks I wonder what will happen at the breakfast buffet , I'm sure Brian will be bringing his own pineapple with him. Since Felicia and General Bradson know what The Scar and Yuri look like, I imagine that he will try to take them out first. Then again, The Scar may get greedy and decide that Eric needs to be first which could get him in trouble. Mike, go back and edit this right away. I once made the mistake of claiming something similar and the Goat made me regret it for nearly two years . I'll get into some guessing later, but for now, don't want to bother with the spoiler tags . Thanks again Cj
  22. 87 The goat was really really really off in his estimate
  23. The stupid thing about it is that he will not allow a team in Hamilton unless it is through expansion, not through relocation. When Bettman took over the NHL, he was on a single mission, to increase TV revenues from the games. He really hasn't detoured from that objective which means that he will not let a team leave the Southern US. In a way, I would hope that Jim Balsille does get the numbers of votes he needs to relocate Phoenix. If he does, then it would be a vote of non confidence for Bettman and he would probably resign his position. I believe Gary did a lot for the league over his years but like John Ziegler, it is time to go. BTW, in case anyone wants to pat Cynical on the back, pop over here
  24. Okay...my three wishes 1. Be able to read the minds of people who are planning evil towards me so I could twart them (the ones with good thoughts, no problems ) 2. Have a contentment in life so that I don't feel that I want to keep up with the Jone's. 3. Have a really big ______. (I'll leave that blank and to your imagination ) I'm sure these would change depending on the day or even hour of the week. Maybe I'll check back in a couple of days and see if my choices have changed. Steve
