Well, I'm done the most difficult wall and pulled the tape off around the door frames and unfortunately took off in some spots a couple of layers of paint too! I hope my 'merican friends and their families of origin or found had a super Thanksgiving holiday. Did you eat too much? I think TG is one of the mandatory 'pass' days that you get to eat what you want, how much you want, and for as long as you want. It is surprising that with New Year's resolutions that people make those far stretched promises to themselves to stop smoking, go to the gym, stop drinking alcohol and such, that there is nothing for Thanksgiving. Maybe there should be promises to go to the gym to combat all the food at the very least! I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but up in Canada boxing day (Dec. 26) was our biggest sale day where retailers cleared out their old stock at ridiculous prices. Now the American Black Friday has replaced that, closely followed by Cyber Monday. So were you able to participate, or was things just a little too tight this year? I had my 12 year old TV start to pixelate pretty bad so I was able to take advantage of the sales to get a new, bigger TV. Before Krista can make any accusations, NO it is not for watching porn . When I heard Gianni Infantino say the abhorrent treatment of foreign workers, the lack of pay, the horrible work conditions, the loss of life and so much more, that it was comparable to what his family members went through I had to pick my lower jaw off the ground. So by his words, two or more wrongs make a right . Get your head out of your ass and realize that what isn't acceptable today, isn't acceptable anywhere and if it still happens it is all our responsibility to call it out. This also goes for the brave men and women calling out Iran at the tournament that are arrested or banned from making any statement against the state. Countries should be speaking up, not just individuals. But I guess when you have a Emirate who will help FIFA and all it side deals make billions and billions is controlling the image being put out by FIFA. If FIFA was also serious about cracking down on LGBQT2+ hate, why isn't Mexico banned from playing. Yes, it is their spectators, but I don't see the team jeopardizing the revenues from those homophobe supporters. /rant

Well Cassie, I'm impressed I know you have some people that didn't like Part1 ending here, but I'm fine with it. I don't know if there is any set laws on trilogies, other than they should be linked together in some way. So what some expect it to mean, doesn't mean you have to have the same feeling, nor do I. Add the fact that you were so polite, shows you understand that some don't see things the same way as you do but that is okay. Which over all is a great thing, imagine if we all thought and did everything the same. As a long time reader of @C James, I have learned to love and hate cliffhangers I didn't find your use overused or them too distracting. Yes, I can always click on the next chapter, but if I could only be reading a chapter a week, I would laugh and tease you about them. I don't have a problem with there use. Let's be honest, not every chapter ends in one. Now, I really did enjoy Part 1. I think it was paced out in a way to that gives me a little bit more information with every chapter or paragraph or even sentence read. Yeah, I think some of us caught on in the last few chapters that Leia might still be alive, but do any of us know the details or how that happened or why it happened? I don't, but I will as I continue to read on. Once again, these dreams make me think that Brandon has more psychic ability that he realizes, or even Keith and Elizabeth know. I'm sure they would shut her down if they knew she was communicating with Brandon. Also makes you wonder how much Leia actually knows what is going on, that she is blaming Brandon for where she is. Or is that his guilty conscious reading more into it than what is actually there. Now I will throw out one more thing, could the psychic connection be more strong because Leia might be a Creator too, but never found her Enabler yet, and Keith and Liz decided to use her to their advantage? Well, off to part deux

Okay, so said shark has just crapped me out of him and I feel like it. I do have to compliment you Cassie. But let me yell at you first 🤪 The entire time Keith and Brandon were locked in the bedroom, I was screaming that I wanted someone to bust in, preferably Jordan, and put a stop to this rape. But no, you kept going on and like a good writer giving attention to every small detail 🤬Then when finally I think you have saved the day by Jordan breaking in, no, you have Keith pull a loaded gun on Jordan So now where I compliment you You did an excellent job in you handling of describing a rape case. The way you made me empathize with Brandon meant you got it right, but you didn’t in the end overdue it. I find a lot of authors don’t really know how to write a rape scene which pulls a reader into the moment but not so far that they resent the author. Another author on site that is a master of this is @vlista20. Also, you ended up on a hopeful note. Leia reaching out to Bran again in what seems to be a dream, but now I feel it is a psychic connection makes me feel that all will be together soon. 🥰 Lastly, I feel I should be great full but confused with that, that Liz put a end to it all. Maybe Keith is the brat in this pairing. But her comment that they have only know what they wanted them to know is ominous in itself. Thank you again for this story.

Well after the last chapter I felt like I was snorkeling in Huanama Bay in Hawaii looking at all the beautiful fish. This chapter has a great white shark jumping over the protective coral reef and gnawing on me That Keith, he has been trouble from day 1. I’m sure the rest of the chapters will be flying as we find out will happen to him. Are ‘normal’ teams allowed to exact revenge? Looking for the other team from Virginia to arrive soon hopefully.

To tell the truth I’ve never seen a lightening bug or firefly 😜 Nice chapter. Kind of a step back from any major drama. Except Brandon trying to destroy Jordan with the mind block and pushback 😉 Wonder if I could do that trick in case I meet Mr Spock and need to prevent a mind meld Actually Jordan did sum up my feelings, glad that Brandon can now defend himself.

Wow, I think I hazarded a guess that Keith was a fellow creator and even the unnamed woman was a creator, but I didn’t fully realize how Keith manipulated the pull of enabler to enabler to put Brandon so off kilter. Like Jordan said, I can’t help but feel that Brandon was raped each and every time since he had something he didn’t know abou pulling him to Keith. The note could mean so many things imho. 1. He knows Brandon wants the sex but he won’t get it anymore. 2: He knows that he is about to put two and two together and want to know who his lady friend is, but he won’t find out. 3. He knows Brandon is going to clue into what is going on and want to block Keith’s ability to draw him, but Keith won’t let him stop being drawn to him. 4. like @Jason Rimbaud said, maybe he has Leia in someway. Did anyone see a body, or did the Enabler and Creator create a body that appeared to be Leia? That is why the creation didn’t show any signs of pregnancy. 5. I can keep going on forever but will drive myself crazy. So instead I will read on 😛 one thing I’m glad about is I think Brandon knows why he cut himself and won’t do it again. It is a practice I’ve seen before and I know it means someone is struggling in ways that are unconscionable to comprehend, but I just want to wrap them up in my arms and my love

Lots of conflicting emotions with this chapter, but empathy would be the overriding one I too was wondering about the dream, or was it, in this chapter. Leis saying she’s stuck and then following up with the Brandon comment makes me wonder if we also have a bit of a side ghost story going on. Not that Bran doesn’t have enough on his mind already. I see a giant party, without booze 😜, at Jordan’s once the girls get in from Chicago.

Well you beat me by 6 days, Jason. My exact thoughts. But they are enabler/creator team, that opens so many questions. are they the evil team that Jordan and the Chicago girls have warned Bran about? Could Keith be manipulating somehow as a creator to keep Brandon back, and thus ensnaring him? Could the have created, Keith, the monster baby? As he created the baby and weird lady enabled it to be in Leia? Thank Cassie, I’m still getting more and more intrigued and wanting more.

So they did the autopsy, and the ‘baby’ was never there, against home and medical testing. Leia supposedly knew the father. So would the father be human? Also, we don’t know the gestational time line before the creature can live on its own. What I’m getting at, lol, is did whomever take the baby and then staged the suicide. How many times do you hear of police/ME’s seeing something evidently suicide and not looking for any other clues whatsoever Enquiring minds want to know!!!!

I agree with everyone above I have to say, it was not what we had experienced from Dodger before and he did an excellent job of stepping out of what may have been his comfort zone. Heart wrenching chapter 😢Well done I always appreciate when a author can have their readers feel the raw emotions that their characters feel. But it is a fine line to not cross over where the reader feels distraught and lose focus on the overall story Your above quote has piqued my interest. It seems that Brandon quite quickly accepted he was gay. I can’t remember if the cutting started because of Keith or not. If so, then it would suggest that if Brandon has accepted his sexuality, he is definitely not dealing with it in a good way. ☹️ But Jordan seems to be struggling in his own way. His natural reaction to falling for a guy must be scaring the hell out of him, but a totally natural reaction. I do wonder if their bond, will their attractions be felt by the other? If so, that could really complicate things if one interprets the others feelings to do something to the other, that the other may not yet be ready for. In this case it is really a double edged sword 😕

So we learn a lot more about creator and enabler dynamics from Dalaja and Nikki. I was probably really caught up in that train of thought until Bran lip locked Jordan the night before and the professed his attraction the next day. Then it was ‘ what was the rest of the chapter about? 😝 well now that I’m over that part and thinkinking again about the video chat, I wonder if Bran’s confession will bring Jordan more attuned to Brans feelings But if it does, I imagine Jordan will soon know about the self harm and Keith. Is Brandon ready for that discussion yet?

Being stuck in the middle of the Canadian prairies, I do remember Campbell's used to have both New England and Manhattan Clam Chowder. I know it is canned, but hey there wasn't a lot of Deli's or places to get soup other than in a can. I liked the Manhattan, but liked the New England more. With all this talk of discrimination and what is better, I see that their is a new chowder on the market (may be old ), Seafood Chowder. No place attached to it I kind of like it better as you get in a whole bunch of different seafood in it. Think first time I had it was on Granville Island in Vancouver, BC. After a google search, it appears that Nova Scotia is trying to put their name before it @Headstall, do you want to contest this with your neighbours to the east
