    The Gamer

Hey Dodger, spoiler below So Tyrone really must have a big set of balls on him. Like really, who would go up to a relative stranger and kiss him on the lips I know he is a brat and gets what he wants, but I don't think even in his coincident little asshole way, he would be willing to risk that! How did he know that Andy would be receptive? From Andy's POV, which is the only one we have, he hasn't indicated he is gay to Bob or Tyrone. I am looking forward where this goes from here though. I thought originally that he might sneak Tyrone out and take him to Church (still not 100% sure what Church is). Now it appears Bob and Andy aren't going anywhere soon. So what more can develop is what we will have to see Don't stop writing this story Dodger Now that it is getting really interesting we need resolution to our many questions. Thanks for sharing
  6. Okay, let's go First off, I'm very sickly, so haven't been online or even awake much for the past week and a half. Now Dodger, I'm not mad at you, but I have to admit that this is the first chapter of a story that I actually had to put down the iPad for a day and come back to the chapter because I was so mad . I try to take the high road when looking at a protagonist in a story, in this case Don, but what he did was nothing more than abuse in that chapter. Robbie is confused and most likely scared of Don but is still of the opinion that he shouldn't rock the boat and go along with the adoption. For Don to sit him down and maybe in his mind take the honey is sweeter than salt method, lay out all the arguments that make his side look like the better option and actually have Robbie believing maybe he is right, is nothing more than a abuse of his own knowledge and education to demean Robbie. Don is in PR/advertising is he not? I guess when he went and looked back at his actions to this point, he hasn't been doing a good enough sell job. So I imagine that this whole meeting has been in the works for a while now, carefully planned, set talking points, pros that outweigh the cons, all to sell what he is selling. The fact that he is using what he uses to make major money off of clients to sell people stuff I imagine they don't want, on a 15 y/o kid is stacking the deck against Robbie where he will never win. The fact that he is willing to do this to Robbie shows what a huge character flaw Don has, he will win at any cost. I'm sure he isn't even realizing he is talking about people's lives anymore, he is just focused on being victorious. How dare Robbie challenge him in front of his family!! The fact that Sue is playing along, can be understood as she married him, but I wouldn't put it past his weasel self to talk to her like an adult and work his opinion into her mind as well. Really, at this point I want to say fuck the adoption. I know I can't though because there is Robbie, Daniel, Nicola, Amy and Sue also involved as well as Nathan. I just don't want Don to have ANY LEGAL AUTHORITY over Robbie. I know he will be sixteen soon, but a fucked up parent can still make a kid's life a living hell. Anywho, I'm off to bed to get unsickly Hopefully you don't post too many more chapters that make me risk breaking my iPad slamming it down

    Chapter 4

Yikes! This is too small of a circle. Rick being Bobby’s bf, I’m sure will hear about Tyler not being at Connor’s for TG. How long until his Mom hears about this and strikes first and puts him in the ‘home’?

    Chapter 3

I’m too interested like Tyler on why Connor has more or less remained single, yet is so open to being with Tyler. Must be something about Tyler

    Chapter 2

That was quick!!! Nice to have a lot of information on all the characters in that chapter. Still, wondering why he is in Foster care? His parents obviously beat him I wish everyone had a Richard in there life.

    Chapter 1

Lots of intriguing questions to start off with right off the bat. Is his housewife mom and lawyer Dad part of his fictional family? 4th placement in two years..
  11. Don’t worry Dodger, I’m not mad at you. I’ll elaborate more later 😤

    Chapter 87 D-Day

I loved the chapter Dodger. Thanks for sharing
  13. Belated Happy Birthday Wayne Hope you had a nice relaxing day!!
  14. I know there is always a new promise for finding a cure for cancer or other killing diseases, but seldom have I seen a promise to possible stop and cure both cancer and HIV. Also other diseases like Zika too. I appears this university PhD student in Canada in working with university and government labs, has possibly done that. Stopping the disease from the molecular DNA level preventing it from metastasizing and spreading. I really hope this isn't another false hope. The one thing that is heartening is the research is being done on the academic, government level and not through private industry. Conspiracy theorists might not be able to win this one
  15. Happy Birthday Lisa Here's hoping that you had a most excellent Birthday today
  16. Happy Birthday Gary Hope you had a great day Gary!!! Sorry about your Leafs
  17. Happy Birthday Dodger I am going have to stalk you since my other British heart throb is no longer free Hope you had a great day

  22. I would say to Cia, that I'm in the same boat as Graeme and Valkyrie. Sex scenes I will skip. Honestly, I don't know if it is because I read Nifty before finding GA and had my lifetime limit of sex scenes fulfilled within a year or what. It is interesting, as some people say that every story has been told, just it is told with different characters, personalities and locations, and scenes. I will read stories that are based on this and enjoy each rendition. It is just the sex scenes that I find repetitive and overused in some cases. Some authors use more descriptions, some use less, but it is usually the same. What I do like is an author who plays on my creative imagination and gets my mind to go to one place and let it take over. Set the scene, have the characters set the mood and then fade out. I'm sure my imagination will be much more interesting than anything the author can put down in words Another thing about sex scenes is that you may be turning readers away from your story. If you are writing a story in 1st person, and that person is a top, you are writing the sex scene from the position of a top. You may be alienating the bottoms that might be reading. Similar, if someone is not into anal but more oral or touching or feeling, etc., could you be turning those readers away from your story? Size? Some people like big, average or small penises. So by saying in your story, they are X inches, may not be my cup of tea. But by leaving the fine details out and the whole sex scene out, I can make the unwritten sex scene to my preferences in my mind. Trust me, I can do it I know a lot of authors struggle over sex scenes. I say don't worry about it, less is much better.
  23. Carlos, we use a query that pulls the posting of the stories between the time run, and 7 days prior. We copy and past the exact results. The reason why you are not on it is not anything I can answer. I have requested to have the query looked at to see what could be the issues with this. Ironically, this seems to happen when I do the update, so I am really curious on why this is happening. I will contact you via PM on what I find out. My apologies.
  24. Renee is off, so I will be helping out for the next few Weekly updates. Before I start, if I make any mistakes, blame @Valkyrie . Actually, no, we need to thank Val for stepping in and helping out in a pinch for anything to do with the Anthologies. As per this announcement, please send all anthology proof requests to her. Thanks Cat, er Penguin, er Val https://www.gayauthors.org/announcement/347-attn-anthology-authors/ So let's jump in to the week's summary and see what you may have seen and what you may have missed. Monday, Cia led us off on the October CSR Discussion Day: Tuesday was the big reveal! We found out who wrote the stories in the Happy Halloween contest.
