    What about an official liscence to be a drug dealer (for illegal drugs?) Complete with tax stamps for the bags of illegal drugs? The State of Arizona was trying to do what the IRS is doing; gaining another legal tool. However, the took aim, fired, and scored a direct hit on their own foot.     Why does this news NOT surprise me in the least? I loved the feel of the story, you are a master of imagery. Indeed, you did make me care about the characters, darn hard to do in a short story. Just like your other stories, Living in Sureality A Shot of Bourbon you dispaly a great skill for forshadowing at the subconcious level. It's brilliant.

    Thank you Jack! I've been having a blast with this story. I'm hooked on writing! What a strange thing to have happen to a lurker like me.. I'd like to remind everyone, though, that what you see posted in the story is the result of a team effort. EMoe, my Editor, and Shdowgod, my beta reader, both contribute greatly (thanks Guys!!!). Awww, E Tu, EMoe? Why won't anyone believe me. You just Edited my Editor! Let the Editor-teasing commence!

    Totally agreed! I should have made clear: My "Grrrrr" Was directed only at the LA Times. I was thrilled by the rest of the article, and admire what the Prince has done. That does take guts!

    Grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the fact that the Prince is coming out, I think he's doing something great. I Liked the article, too, right up until that bit. The LA times should be bought to task for this. It's a minor remark, but to put it in context, think what the reaction would be if they had implied a racial stereotype instead?

    The Brian he's "taken over for" sounds like he's got some real problems that Brian now gets to deal with. It will be interesting to see a Davey we have never seen: as a true Teen, not mentally old. Can't wait to see what he is like. I suspect that Missy will be playing a big role in the next few chapters, as Brian seeks a way to dump her. This looks like a wild ride!

    Anyone want to join me in some speculating? We still have a proverbial sword of Damoclease hanging over the plot: Jacob's admitted feelings for Valerie. Valerie can lure Jacob away from Matt. She has the ultimate bait: That 69 Mustang. She already let him drive it once, and that was AFTER he admitted his feelings for her. I predict trouble!
