People can snicker about Mrs. Turner all they like, but it's people like her who find and help the lonely when they've fallen at home and can't get up. Sure, we could have a society where no one cares for anyone except after explicit invitation to friendship, but is that what we want? Great to see Eric getting more into his sketching and artistry. It could be a great way for him to find an outlet for his feelings. He's so bottled up.

Sometimes, you just have to endure things like ceremonies. I hope Diego can find his inner zen and not let all those eyes bother him. Maybe he can think of Azrael's garden?

I'm completely useless at social niceties. You know, those little things people seem to expect of a grown woman (less of men, I've discovered). I say seem, because I just can't get a hang of it. Things like buying flowers when going to dinner, sending a card, calling just to say hello, remembering who's who in my kids' classes, remembering family situations of coworkers. It's all a mystery to me how anyone can keep this in their heads. I even had to learn how to email nicely (meaning I write what I want to say and then go over the text adding sweetness to it). I do like to get the occasional flower and card, but I don't miss it if I don't. Sometimes they make me feel uneasy, since I know it means I should reciprocate and I know I will forget. So I guess I never learned how to play nice or rather niceties. Some of you know my abrupt side and I can't stop it. I rarely intend to be mean. Just to the point, perhaps.

Nice to see them reconnect. Just what the doctor ordered!

Good to see Mick taking a little bit of control. Even if it's just something as "simple" as his own magic, it's a step forward from him feeling as if others are forever doing thing to him. Eldfluga! Nice name! A bit of Swedish is fun to read, especially when it's unexpected.

If only all parents could be so relaxed about sex, I think a lot of teens would feel much safer talking to them about their thoughts and questions. That will be some breakfast!

Oh Felicity... What an ironic name. Co-dependent and too close to matters to see how they are hurting her. How he is hurting her. I hope Adam realises what's going on and breaks her free. Long roots on that tree. Will be painful. Fun to see how Andy is experiencing things anew through the eyes of Eric. Almost like having a child (though I'm not making other comparisons with Eric and a child).

My guess is they'll both go all in to reconcile. A few grand gestures and then they can get to talking for real. Just as long as they remember you can't really change a person. Sablo will probably not turn into a romance wiz kid no matter how much they talk. But I'm sure he shows his love in other ways. Like when my hubby never buys flowers but he builds me a wooden deck at our cabin.

Well, someone talked some sense into Theo. Now, if they could have an open conversation about annoyances, things will be grand. Then more silver arrows can fly!

Breaking Theo's trust was bad. Though I think it's entirely possible to be a couple and not know all about your partner's job. I know I and hubby manage very well. A bit silly to break up with someone over a thing like that. Theo could have explained the risks of letting Diego know about the auras.

We expect or rather demand young people to handle their sexuality maturely but still far too many adults find talking about sex and relationships even impossible. There's a golden opportunity to have those much needed debates in school. And we repeatedly drop the ball!

Well, good they could enjoy the sleepover a little bit at least. Such restraint! 😂

Some good brainstorming going on!

The awkward bar scene with Wes made me think of how I was set up with new mom friends when I had my first baby. We had nothing in common other than new babies and for me, that wasn't enough to open up and share. I suck at making friends and having so little common ground just made matters worse. They should probably keep it at acquaintance level.

That is some programming that needs to be uninstalled... Scary!
