This just gets weirder. Zombies? Are they the leaders to be treated with blood? Heal themselves? Still waiting for more evil people to show up. I want them out of there!

This new independence must be such a boost for Eric. He doesn't seem to realise fully how far he's come, even if he does reflect a little on it. I hope he dares to day Hi to Rob, even if he's no fan of small talk. Maybe someone should show him the research showing the importance of day-to-day mini-meetings? I for one love my online banking and never having to set foot in an actual bank. But it is troublesome for those left on the outside for various reasons. There's an ongoing discussion in Sweden about access to cash and how difficult it's become.

She so needs to get out of there... And the journey hasn't even started. She's still too connected to her husband. Eric did well in the video and even thought so himself. Could be good for him to see his appearance from the outside. Feeling more confident about his looks could give him an overall boost. I'm not suggesting a total makeover, but maybe he'll pick up that comb every two days...

I'd love to see Eric do a short video. I think he would be surprised at how well he would do. Good to hear them reflect on how they have helped each other, especially for Eric to hear it's not one-sided.

I agree with @Thorn Wilde, it's very musical. Maybe the strokes of the paddle add a rhythm to it. Or the feeling of exploration, ever moving forward, sets a beat to the poem. It's a dream, of something better. So perhaps the mystery man was also part of that dream?

People choosing other people before their own children is something I find so difficult to understand. Other aspects of irrational and hurtful human behaviour I can mostly understand at some level, but not that. I hope Jake and Alex can build their own circle, a family of sorts. It's not an ideal situation, with them carrying so much baggage. But perhaps they can work past it and come out the other side together.

An intense story! I love how you paint the characters as real people, with strengths and flaws, irrational behaviour but also managing to rise above terrible consequences. Abusive relationships are difficult to understand from the outside and the ripple effects can be damaging.

A nice happy ending to all that confusion! Getting a brother like that must be very exciting, and certainly worth a few icy showers. Though it's a terrible waste of beer...

The images of Ayil rocking out to those songs were priceless! I hope when the anger dies down he and Ariel can find each other.

I don't count them as conservatives. They are a mess, plain and simple. -

I've often thought being far right and gay must be so confusing. It's not strange to be conservative as such, since your life is more than sex. Still, you don't have to scratch the surface very much to see the true colours of many conservatives. Far too many simply want you gone/invisible/without rights. Maybe it's easier here, where even our conservatives are socialist. In fact, two top candidates for the EU parliament of our right sided parties are gay and that didn't seem to stop their parties from doing really well. But Sweden is a weird place, I'm told. Oh, and the whole "like a girl" derogatory thing pissed me off. It's puzzles me how some people (often priding themselves on being so different) can be even harsher in the upholding of roles in society. But of course, we all live in the same society. Why should anyone be immune? -

I agree with the feeling of uncertain self-censoring. It's difficult to know where those lines are, perhaps more so since I'm not from the US and therefore not in tune with society there. But for me, I don't have the need to express these views here. For you, it's a different situation. So the blurriness is worse. This blindness to what is political and not is something I've thought about quite a lot lately. How seemingly intelligent people can be ignorant to the fact that they express rather extreme political views but it's seen as mainstream and at the same time go ballistic when someone from the other side of the fence does the same. This inability to see themselves is a bit fascinating but mostly depressing. -
Interesting, funny yet serious. I have friends with similar backstories who I can picture doing this very thing. Minus the attempted stabbing...

Captain just has to come terms with being a leader in the true sense of the word. He has such an awesome crew with him, so it should be easy. And i agree. No need to make stupid sacrifices when they've already done more than most. Get the hell out of Dodge!

Well, I for one can understand the misunderstanding. A mate is a mate in the minds of many. So this special version of mating is practical but perhaps a bit sad. What if one of them gets interested and the other then finds their mate? Heart break...

Prompt 722 Not my problem anymore!
Puppilull commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 722 Not my problem anymore!
"Tell it like it is"-Rob! He really is clever. I hope Ryan takes his advice. -
My theory is we aren't ready for social media or the internet way of communicating. Too many thoughts get far too much air play, totally unwarranted. Trolls surely have their own demons, but be honest about them instead of taking it out on others. So no sympathy from me, shackles or not.

I can feel Kohen's frustration wanting this show ordeal to be behind them. He just wants to move on to the next phase of his life, treachery free and perhaps even happy (dare to dream). But a few hoops to jump through before that.
-
Seeing Kohen grow as he gives advice to Danie is heartwarming. How far he's come, at first scared and torn (not broken) but strong and now empathic and caring despite everything. He's ready to be his own individual.
-
Stuart sure is determined, I'll give him that. But still a weirdo. Nice for Geoff to widen his horizons during play time. Slow and steady wins the race.
-
Geoff sure needs to get out more, if he gets to that level of nerves. Luckily, Tony will guide him. I hope the nerves settle and focus can be on the experience.

Prompt 500 What took you so long? (II)

Good advice on how to maintain a relationship. Nelson and Eric have good people around them.
