But that's Colt! So used to going it alone he can't even imagine asking for help. Not if it endangers the wolves. The return of the mementos and his declarations of love tell me he's decided to leave them. That won't stop them from looking for him of course. They won't rest until they have Colt or his bones to lay next to Leo and Al. No man left behind...

Oh poor darlings! Colt is pretty consistent though, stubbornly going it alone to keep them safe. My guess is Colt feels the prophesy is fulfilled and he staying with the pack would only lead to danger for his beloved wolves. The vamps want revenge and also a chance to a comeback after the battle. To save the pack and perhaps due to some other information Colt has, he removed himself from the pack. Maybe to try and outsmart the vamps. Maybe because he can't stand the thought of more wolves dying because of him. He's being the warrior he's always wanted to be (and always have been, if you ask me). BTW, Gavin is wrong about Colt not sacrificing himself. Prime wouldn't allow it, but Colt would be devastated if something happened to Gavin and he did nothing. Possibly was Risa texting him and they made a deal. Gavin not getting through to Prime indicates the time line is simultaneous. So there! Whaddya think?

You capture both the parent and the child so well. The unrelenting playfulness of the child versus the hopeful parent, wanting only the best for the sleepy child. Very nice. -
Ok, my twisted Swedish side (Bergman is a national saint, hello!) doesn't actually think CM writes about all too difficult subjects. It's nothing you can't handle. So don't discourage people! Just come prepared for a bit of angst.

I'm getting a bit curious about Matthew's family and he's going to explain or handle things vis-a-vis them. Nice that Parker's brother was so accepting.

Lessons learned: communication is key in any relationship and sometimes you must show your cards to win the hand. I hope Indie gets over his hurt, so he doesn't feel the need to sabotage for others.

I find the wolves lack of safety measures when riding shocking! Somewhat titillating but shocking! It's so clear why they need a Meta, even if they pretend to rebel.
