So maybe it's the colonel in the library with a led pipe...? This accidental muse is happy to contribute in any small way she can...
-
I keep picturing MaryAnn and Betsy in an epic game if chess over young Colt. Sitting there like on Mount Olympos trying to influence him to chose their side.

So good to see Parker be well received by Matt's friends. I think when they decide to go public, no one will react badly. They might not even be surprised... To me, religion might be useful as moral guidance on a personal level. Trying to use it as a means to govern people almost always ends in disaster. Swedish men... I have some first hand knowledge, but a lady never tells. And I don't either!

Yeah, sounds about right. JAR has a mean hook, as demonstrated on several occasions. MaryAnn keeps repeating that Colt made the wrong choice. I've guessed it's connected to what happened when Colt was 13. If wolves are affected by puberty, maybe it's the same with vampires? I've only seen half a movie in the Twilight series. It was just so bad... Maybe I should torture myself to get more clues... ?

Destiny - A Novel By Ac Benus

The US legal system is too complicated for me to even try to guess what could happen. In Sweden, if Jack were 14 and Linc 18, the DA would assess if it constituted a real relationship and that could be a loop-hole meaning no criminal charges against Linc. I seriously doubt any DA would want to try a case like that, but sometimes they have no choice under the law. What I would like happen is some police chief or DA telling it like it is, meaning there is no assault or exploitation going on and the case is dropped. Then they could celebrate Christmas in peace. How mrs Shaw will handle her other two children is beyond me. I try to picture myself in that situation with my daughters on either side and I get nothing. I would be so disappointed... -

I just hope he's not so bad in bed he can't handle any competition... LOL -

Ha, ha! I know! It's a constant battle with my greed reading this. On the other hand, updates are regular every week. You could wait a few weeks and read more at a time...? But I guess your curiosity has you beat too! I really liked the last chapter. I think the lord appreciated a bit of spirit in his betrothed. I just wonder why the virginity thing was so important. Rother doesn't seem so hung up on formalities and proper behaviour. -

I did not! Did I?

So dreams are lies... Doesn't apply to premonitions then?
-
Remember Prime already "died", so I'm betting something like that. Or they die and come back...

The song spoke Meta to me. Now, I apparently have to figure out what it was saying... Does it never end?!? Ah, yes. At book 7 (or possibly 8)...

Chapter 2 - Just Like High School
Puppilull commented on Cynus's story chapter in Chapter 2 - Just Like High School
It's such a weird thing to do, taking young people away from their families and then expect them to be able to behave in a manner deemed appropriate according to the church. Of course, I'm not religious and on top of that Swedish, so my view on how to spend those years probably differs quite a lot! It must be very difficult to have to police others and yourself to that degree when even coffee or just talking to someone can be an offence. It must easily become a race to be the best mormon ever, taking all rules to the absurd... It all makes me think of Lord of the flies somehow. Though I hope they refrain from killing people... -
What will Lor's magic do now that it knows his mate is so close? It would be rude to start burning things... I'm guessing Dillon might not get a peaceful evening, if Lor has anything to say about it.
-
Hmmm... Did Dillon also feel something? Seemed like it to me. Could he have a little magic tucked away sonewhere...?
-
Oh, I've missed these guys so much! So nice with an update! I just hope that squid thing doesn't pull a fast one and try to double cross Takashi. Could get ugly...

After all this lovely ranting and death lists, I think it's time for a song! This is from me to Colt, on how my head can feel when reading sometimes. Check out the full lyrics here: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/emmalouise/jungle.html

I'd like to keep my split personality intact, if it's not too much to ask...
-
I don't share my lists with anyone. They are far too complex (or messy some would say) for normal people to grasp. But I get your point. We have a few of those at work. I love to put them on the spot...
-
Lists - the habit of highly successful people!
-
If I find the time, I'll compile a list. It would be quite long...

So it is a nightmare? No premonition? So far you haven't sprung anything on us that wasn't there already, plain to see for anyone with a brain. I know, because my reread has made me go "Doh!" sooo many times this summer. So you are coloring within the lines. The horror, the horror! Besides, writing surreal stories isn't a deadly sin as far as I remember.
-
If the only ground rule is there are no ground rules, reading, commenting and ranting will be extremely difficult. Twists and turns are one thing. Wolves turning out to not be wolves would be something else and indeed in violation of the contract between writer and reader.
-
So sad for your loss.
-
But to me that would be like having to point out that the sun will rise. There is no mention of them having two feet either, still I'm pretty sure they do. Some things are a given and if everything is uncertain it's going to end up a David Lynch movie. Bring on the dancing dwarves! The owls are not what they seem! Oh, wait... Owls...
