I don't know why but this chapter actually made me a little sad. Maybe its because Barry and Dave have only been in New Orleans for a few days and their lives are already moving in different circles. They've barely seen each other and that is only going to get worse as both of their careers start to pick up. And now the only time they're really talking in a couple of days it looks like they're going to argue about money/houses. Maybe I'm just being melancholy? I also don't trust why Dave was naked in bed. As drunk as he was he would be more likely to stumble into bed and pass out fully dressed...shoes and all. I'm not saying Dave would cheat on Barry but Chuck doesn't value fidelity so I don't know what he would do with a drunk and pliant Dave

The hive mind of the Furballs is fascinating. Individually they don't understand Kyle but each creature brings an experience to the mix that allows them to understand him and communicate. It was intriguing that they took Kyle's "word" that Jim was a friend now, since he had one of them in a case not too long ago. I guess because they can sense his mind they trust him? Is it possible to be deceptive with them? I wonder who these beings are that the Furballs keep thinking about...the glowing beings. Another mystery to solve. I hope that temple isn't too far away. Kyle and Jim are running out of time. Wonderful chapter Albert!

Doc is such a calm level headed man. Didn't Irri once say that you had a fetish about busted septums? What happened to that, mister? (Grumbling). Ok the rational part of me knows Doc's approach is best. He is making a clean break, walking away with his pride and honour intact and can mend his wounds in private. I still wish Chip got punched though! I'm really curious to see what happens when Ceasar or Brett see Chip.

Looks like Hel has a crush. I hope that doesn't cause too many problems. He needs James' guidance to help him accept his spirit wolf and that will just get awkward if he is jealous of Peter. I loved how free and happy Hel was when he was running and playing. I also like how Aki was proud (almost like a father ) of Hel. Great early Easter present Sasha! Thank you.

LOL great chapter Tim! I agree with Dugh and I hope that Rob is worried about nothing, but it is still very sweet that he is so protective of them. I would have loved to see Jasper and Rob running through the store trying to find the best shirt for Nelson to choose. It would have been a sight to see! Hmmm I don't know what Eric ended up choosing, but whatever it was I am sure he would prefer to help get Nelson out of it after And "straight bashing"? I am sooo stealing that!

I have read a lot (and I do mean a lot) of stories and romances over the years and I don't think anyone can write about making love (not sex...but making love) like you can. You can feel the love these men feel for each other with every touch, every breath and every kiss that you describe. I smiled when they smiled, I teared up when Arron told of not feeling good enough and Chet assured him he was perfect for him. A truly beautiful chapter Gary. Thank you.

I'm so excited after this chapter! The fear of death has allowed the secrets to finally be revealed, Kyle and Jim are getting closer and the Furballs have shown up! I'm excited to see where this goes in the next chapter

A great chapter CG! It's nice to see Jay and Mikey include Dennis into their group. He sounds like a sweet, but very shy, young man. Am I also sensing some spark between Greg and Dennis? The conversation between Mikey and his dad was touching. I think Mikey really needed to get that off of his chest and having the two dads hell with the truck wil let them spend time together and maybe rebuild a bond between them. I have to admit, my first thought when Mikey's dad said he couldnt say why he worked so much was that someone is cheating or the parents are going to divorce when Mikey is done with high school. I look forward to the next chapter CG!

It has to be excruciating knowing the end is coming....slowly. The hope of being rescued was waning more and more each day and you could feel the resignation and depression settle over them as time passed. I hope the furrballs have a plan because I don't want Kyle at the mercy of the military.

Wow Gary! That was just...wow! I agree with Bucket and Eagle....you write amazing love scenes. I can see how being cheated on would damage Arron's confidence and make him doubt his attractiveness/appeal. Good thing Chet is so pursuasive. Now what are they going to do on their day together? I assume they're going to do leave the bed at some point?

And finally the truth comes out. Chip is a fool. I want to high five Doc for standing up for himself and then give him a big hug because I know he has to be hurting pretty badly. I wonder if Chip realizes he not only lost Doc, but possiblly the rest of the 8 as well. I wonder if he cares. I felt badly for the brother. Talk about awkward. Leave it to CJ to break the tension. I'm curious about what will happen the next time CJ sees the redhead around Georgetown.

I liked the chapter because Galen is happier and is figuring out his life. I also liked that he put his foot down about not wanting to be the other man. I must say though, it's not so much a "Roger Resolution" as it is a Galen solution. . Still waiting to kick Roger to the curb...THAT is my Roger Resolution.

This mystery is becoming bigger the more that Teddy and Will learn. It sounds like their friendship was by design. I wonder if this hunt for the machine is a wild goose chase just to see how Will and Teddy work together (just a random, not quite awake, thought )

Wow, first shift and Barry is already gathering Intel. Sounds like this is going to be an interesting place to be. One thing I don't understand, I thought one of the reasons for choosing New Orleans is to be together as a couple, but Barry calls Dave his "buddy" at the bar and, unless I'm forgetting something (entirely possible) I'm not sure if either of them has admitted they're a couple (except maybe to Rex? Oh and to lawyers who can't divulge that info anyways). If its the fact that Dave is with the FBI that is the problem with letting people know they're together then how can they live together?

Aww Gary you are so good for my maple syrupy romantic soul!! I haven't experienced love at first sight (lust at first sight yes), but that doesn't mean I don't think it can happen. These two men are old enough to recognize lust and love and it is brave of them to embrace that love after all of the crap they have been through in their pasts. I am proud of Arron for fighting to get past his issues and coming back. great chapter Gary!

So Aki is essentially adopting Hel? I wonder why James feels so protective over the kid? Is it because he's a spirit wolf? Hopefully James can help Hel learn how to control when his "wolf" comes out. The boy could really use some guidance.

Aki went from being alone to having 2 people sharing his home and his life. It sounds like there are issues that we don't know about yet that are making Aki leery about being responsible for 2 different relationships. At this early stage it seems to me that this motley crew could be good for each other.

I would have had a panic attack too (I'm not good in enclosed spaces). Thats quite a storm. Hopefully it doesn't do more damage to the already damaged dome. Hopefully now that Jim and Kyle have started talking Kyle will tell him what actually brought him there.

Damn..I knew this was going to happen. Ian was too much of a manipulative user just to walk away. Deep breath. Give Arron time to think and then Chet needs to talk to him again.

Great chapter Carlos. CJ continues to impress me with his maturity. It's too bad Landon had to go home but I'm sure they will keep in touch and I can see Landon coming back to Washington to "visit his brother" before next Summer

Exciting chapter! Running through pitch black corridors with the building possibly crashing around them. I am happy to hear Jim confirm the he didn't voluntarily drug Kyle. I wonder if the Furballs have some sort of plan to save Kyle, since he is their link to the humans. Can't wait for the next chapter!
