Kayden's plan to free the slaves worked wonderfully! All of those men and women must have been dying for the chance to get some retribution. Can't wait to see what Damien's reaction is going to be when he realizes that Saladin wasn't the one who infiltrated the camp! Lol

The journey was, at times, pretty tough, but the destination is a good one. I am very happy for both of them. Now Adi..who told Jonah about the dragon tattoo? Hmmm??

Your portrayal of their love, in all of its distracting, consuming, heart pounding, "need you now" intense, glory was wonderfully done. Good for Kayden. Those slaves are likely itching for a chance to retaliate against Laos and the guards for all of their cruelty. They have the power to do that now. Pretty sure Saladin is going to read Kayden the riot act for scaring the hell out of him though! Lol

Haha poor Cesar. It had to be tough to admit his son just about killed him in the gym. It was nice to see then spend some time together, one on one. I hope that CJ can figure out a way to open some type of communication with his brother. It would be sad for both of them if they lost the closeness they seemed to have before CJ was made to leave.

This chapter made me very happy. There is an honest to goodness change in Nate. He's admitting his faults and sins to other people and wants to go to therapy. That's a complete 180 from where he was when he first met Taylor. The best (for me) is that he wants to apologize to Clem. I think that an apology and admission of guilt from Nate would be good for both of them and healing for Nate. Maybe someday he and Clem can be, if not friends, then at least acquaintances who can be in the same room together. I also admired Nate's ability to recognize that HE is the reason his friends no longer associate with him much. There was so much in this chapter that made me proud of Nates efforts to change. Turning a mirror on yourself is. It always easy, or pretty. I knew there was a human being somewhere underneath all of that gruff exterior and anger. Leave it to you, Sasha, to redeem the man many want to lynch a short time ago.

You have really outdone yourself again. I love the interaction between Levi and Mac. There was so much chemistry between these two country boys. I would have loved to read more about them, but I still left them feeling like they would find a way to make this a "forever" thing. Ahh the thrill of new love where you can't keep your mind on your work and thoughts of seeing the other person again are all-consuming. You capture that feeling so well! It left me with a warm feeling inside and a sentimental smile on my face. Thank you Sasha!

Damn Damien is going to go ballistic if he finds out what Kayden did before he gets back safely. Saladin is not going to be happy with him either, but I have a feeling those freed slaves might like to exact a little of their own justice against Laos as well, those who have any strength left that is.

So it seems that Mikey's parents are not as bad as he thinks, not that they are great. His dad does seem to care, but doesn't seem to know what to actually say to Miles. It's too bad they don't realize that all Miles really wants is their time.

Ok...just give me a minute to fan myself... Ok, now I think I can write a review. That was a very, very hot shower scene and I LOVE how playful they are together. I think they would be a fun couple to know for real. Great job Gary!

Good for Damien, realizing that Kayden is the best person to guide the scouts into the mountains, no matter how much he'd prefer he stayed out of harms way. He is realizing that Kayden ha strong and capable. Oliver and Nash are so cute together! I love how Oliver is fawning over Nash, keeping him comfortable. .

Damn took Will long enough! Lol. I'm very happy that they finally got together. Here's hoping they can find a way to stay together soon.

The Fishers already seem like great people. Hopefully they can give Casey the care and support he so badly needs. I am also pleased that James stood up for him. Casey needs as many people in his corner as he can get.

I had a feeling it was something like this. I can't believe that Evan could attack Tony like that. It's horrible to hurt anyone based on their sexual orientation, but it's even worse when you hurt your family. I hope they throw the book at him. Now the conundrum is who is Sammy going to choose (if he wants one of them as more than a friend)? The boy who was with him when he was hurt or Tony, the friend who already has feelings for him?

Holy hot as hell M/S virgin scene Gary! I'm sure the drool proof covers have been put to good use! I am very happy they have talked and that Kendall now believes that Michael is in love with him. I did really feel badly for Michael though when he thought that Kendall might be running from him again because he insulted "moondoggie" Happily that didn't last long. Great job Gary!

Poor Hel. It sounds like he's been through...well hell. He's obviously been beaten and either been run off ir ran away from his home. How old is he? I get the impression he's young (17 or 18). You have me intrigued but I guess I have to wait a week to find out more.

That is one tough little Neko! I'm so happy that he freed himself and the other two slaves. That boy has become a force to be reckoned with. And yes, you are the queen of the cliffhangers! lol

It's also tough for those of us who have loved someone who is in an abusive relationship and can't get them out. Sometimes all you can do is provide love and support and be ready to help when they ask for it.

Have I mentioned how much I love Jay's parents? Between Jay's parents and Michael's mom in "Cards" you two have me wanting to take a trip to visit my mom and dad. Jay's dad is great with Miles. I get the feeling he has never really had a strong, "present" male role model in his life and Jay's dad's support and attention when Miles was upset is wonderful to see. Miles just seems to melt and open up under that care and consideration. Great chapter CG!
