Haha and that kind of reminds me of my first "talk" with my daughter. So much mortification and blushing - and my daughter was embarrassed too We made a lot of progress out of humble beginnings and Aki and Hel will eventually get there. The important thing is that Aki wants to try to step in to that parent role with Hel and Hel knows he is loved. This is going to be a confusing time for Hel as he tries to work through his feelings of lust, desire to be near another shifter, jealousy and trying to figure out his sexuality. I think with some patience from Aki and some gentle prodding from Ishca that Hel will get through this...with some stumbles along the way. Another great chapter Sasha. Thank you

Prompt 417 But why would you want me to meet you there?
LitLover commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 417 But why would you want me to meet you there?
Thank you for posting another chapter with your poor head aching. It was another great chapter . I do love that Rob (and Jazz) are so supportive of Eric and Nelson and their relationship. I agree with Eagle (and you) that Rob may have to tone it down a little though, if only because Nelson and Eric are pretty private people. That being said, I agree that they should not be shy about holding hands or hugging in the hallways (or at the coffee shop). I also like Rob and Jasper's plan to have Nelson and Eric walk in to the coffee shop when the rest of the team is there. It's a controlled way for Rob to judge some of the reactions of his teammates (although some MAY be smart enough to keep their mouths shut with Rob and Jazz nearby). -
Chapter 24 Winning Streak
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 24 Winning Streak
Thank you Gary! You, Michael and Kendall really made my Monday It warms the heart to hear about previous playboy, probably never "slept" with someone Michael being such a snuggle bunny I love how Mrs. Ace was so worried about insulting or stepping on the Dooley's toes. Mr and Mrs. Ace has such big hearts, and I don't even mean the money they want to give M & K for their home. At this rate M & K are going to be able to afford a fantastic place (although I can't see them wanting anything ostentatious. It's just not them). I hope you can find someone for Jere. The thought of him unhappy, when M & K and C & A are so happy makes me sad for him. Whether you do another spin-off or just a few mentions in CoTT, I think it would be great if Jere found his forever guy too. It's nice to see Kendall going out and trying to restore some normal into his life. I agree that being joined at the hip can be fun for a little while, but in order to be a truly happy couple you should be able to be happy separately as well as together. -
Poor Hel. He's so confused right now. He has a huge crush on James and doesn't seem to understand what it means, just that he wants to be close to him. I'm impressed that James realizes, although that probably has more to do with Peter's insight. James is also bring very sensitive with Hel's feelings and is letting him down as gently as he can. I already liked James but this really elevates him in my eyes. I just hope the little blue wolf doesn't decide to run off in a fit of embarrassment.

Haters And Bigots = Changes To My About Me Section
LitLover commented on Caz Pedroso's blog entry in Caz Pedroso's Blog
I actually left our church because of the homophobic attitudes. It irritates me that people use the church and God to justify their own small-mindedness. -
It's nice to see that Greg has more to him than phone sex with potential gay kids from school. Not that I don't think he gets something from the interactions, his purpose seems more to have the person become more comfortable with their sexuality. He's like a gay teenaged Dr Joyce with telephone advice (where did I read that before? ) Although I hate gossip myself and especially hate the way it can hurt people with the lies, I think in this case that the gossip seems to have elevated the boys, Mikey especially, in the eyes of their peers...although the story may have caused Denny to choke on his OJ! You did a great job with the two POVs. I enjoyed the closer look at Greg and I always love hearing what Jay thinks It's going to be nice to see the dads helping with the truck. I think that will be great for both the fathers and the sons.

Confidential conversations II
LitLover commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Confidential conversations II
I'm not really surprised how broken Russell had been and how he thought Evan was better off without him around, but that lack of surprise doesn't make me any less saddened by it. I think Evan must have been really heartbroken to have Russell pull away from them like that. It sounds like they were really close and that all but ended after Russell got sick. I think Jacob's love and support only not only saved Russell...I think he also helped Russell become strong and confident enough to rebuild his twin bond with Evan again. Loved the chapter Tim! -
That is one furious teddy bear I'm pretty black and white about cheating too, so I completely understand the reaction. It's a good thing the cheating SOB at least had the common sense to tell him to get tested. Some people just don't see the good thing they had until they screw it up beyond repair.

I am so pleased to see Ishca so proud of himself and his work. He is putting his empathic skills to very good used in this job. I also really like that Aki makes him feel so good about himself as a person - not just a sex toy. Everyone deserves to be at the centre of someone else's thoughts once in a while I think poor Aki might be having a parental "oh my god my kid has a crush??" moment with Ishca revelation it's going to be interesting to see what Aki does with that information.

Damn poor Dave! I hope he's ok I was really not expecting something like this to happen so soon. I need to go back and re-read the chapter again to see if I can pick up on these subtle hints you've been alluding too

Chapter 10 Home Is Where The Heart Is
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 10 Home Is Where The Heart Is
I loved this final chapter Gary! You know I adore Chet and when we met him in CoTT I wanted so badly to have him meet someone he could love and could love him back and Arron is that guy. These two deserved some happiness and you made that happen for them. It was a wonderful way to say goodbye to their story (for now at least ). My favourite lines were “Does this feel like home to you, Chet?” “You feel like home to me, Arron.” So good for my romantic nature Although I will miss their story I am not too sad because I know we will see them again with Michael and Kendall. I can see the 4 of them becoming great friends. Speaking of...we still have that dinner with M & K to look forward to Although I think Bucket is right, they are going to have a hard time hiding their love from K & M. -
Poetry Prompt 9 – Sonnet: Never again
LitLover commented on Aditus's story chapter in Poetry Prompt 9 – Sonnet: Never again
Ahhh the awkwardness of your first love. That brings back memories...and some mortification. lol. Great job Adi -
Damn Carlos...when you decide to end with a cliffhanger you really make the most of it! So Autumn is going to start posting next Friday...right??? My heart stopped when Adriano's wife's car hit the tractor trailer. I hope they are ok. I can't believe that vice cop trapped CJ like that. The sad thing is I'm sure crap like that does happen. Now about Tommy...he had better be ok. Until I hear otherwise I am choosing to believe he only has a mild concussion and a bullet in his leg that can be easily removed. He can get some TLC from his husband for a while. Do you hear that rumble outside?? That's not the sound of motorcycles mister...those are your fans grumbling until you post the first chapter of Autumn!

Prompt 412 What time are we supposed to be there?
LitLover commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 412 What time are we supposed to be there?
That was awesome Tim! I love a man with brains and a sarasctic wit...and Jasper has all of that in a cute ginger package. Sometimes, although punching them might seem like a fun idea, the best way to deal with bigots and religious zealots is with a sense of humour that leaves them gaping like a fish out of water. I the Team Jasper idea. The guy is such a good friend he definitely deserves some of the limelight -
Prompt 239 Just give me a minute, please.
LitLover commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 239 Just give me a minute, please.
Loved the Rob POV Tim! He is such a great big brother....even if Eric probably wants to run the other way sometimes I really like the story about the puppy and that Rob noticed Eric's reaction to seeing Nelson for the first time and made it his mission to help his brother get this "puppy" that he wanted. I know this may get me banished from Team Rob, but honestly I prefer him as the straight big brother who would do anything for his little brother, but is comfortable enough with his sexuality to tease Eric about how good Nelson's ass looked in those jeans. I'm not sure Eric would have ever have come out if Rob was gay. -
Chapter 23 The Wild Card Effect
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 23 The Wild Card Effect
I'm all out of likes but I promise to come back and "like" this chapter later. I love how even when these two guys "argue" it's because of how much they care about each other. I have to admit that I was a little worried that K was going to say he felt guilty for making Michael realize he was gay and subjecting him to the homophobes. I think M might have had a few words to say about that. I agree with Michael...they still have some things to work through (like Michael's guilt) but they are talking and not bottling things up, which is the best thing they can do for their relationship. I wonder what their house is going to look like....I'm trying to picture North Toronto neighbourhoods. Not sure where they'd find a big house with a 3 car garage that didn't cost the earth I am super excited about the dinner/game with Chet and Arron. I think those two are going to make M and K squirm! -
Fantastic chapter and a fantastic story! I look forward to reading the sequel. I admire Jim for putting himself on the line to save Kyle and the Furballs. I laughed about how proud Tag and the Furballs were for helping Jim. I was also pleasantly surprised that I actually liked some of the military. I hope Echo wasn't destroyed and can come back. Great job Albert!

This was fantastic! Thank you! If I had to choose between the vows and hearing their inner most thoughts I would stick with the inner thoughts. Vows (although they can be great) are usually planned and written. The inner thoughts that you wrote would have been their true thoughts and feelings...not filtered for an audience. And look at that...you did romantic your way Doc got picked up by a cop? Good for him! I think being single for a while might agree with him

I loved that Hel was acting like a teenager....although most teens aren't that excited about school He really needed to have some time where he could just had fun and it looks like James helped him achieve that James and Hel seemed to have a great time running with each other. I hope that James (and maybe Peter) can start to become more like favourite uncles to Hel. I just really don't want him to get his heart broken too badly.

Beautiful and sad. A protective wall around a heart and mind crumbling. You're turning me in to a poetry fan Adi
-
That was such a sad history...the extinction of a civilization. I wonder why the Travelers are coming back...do they want something from the humans? Are they just protecting Argos? What about the Furballs? Are they disconnected from the greater mind? What can Kyle and Jim actually do? Will the army listen to them? So many questions and if there is only one chapter left I guess a lot of questions may be deferred to the next book.

Chapter 22 Making Your Own Odds
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 22 Making Your Own Odds
Bigots really are everywhere aren't they? They are also not that smart targeting a cop and his well built partner. I have a funny feeling it may have been Lanny though...if it was Candy I think she would have been vindictive enough to actually scratch the paint. I like Michael's reaction though...after the initial shock he feels pity for the bigots because they don't realize how beautiful their love is. I am very happy the boys are home now though. The visit to Calgary was necessary, but it will be good for them to get back to their lives. I am also excited for them to find out about Chet and Arron -
Oh no...poor Teddy! I hope he isn't too badly hurt! Like some unexpected falls though I wonder if this one will redirect them towards the answers they are looking for?

Great chapter Carlos. Things are really moving along for the guys...the wedding, the birthdays, jobs. It was great seeing CJ in his intern position. I am pleased that the Senator's people sent the other intern home. It was stupid of her to run her mouth off in the office about CJ and his dads. I agree though that it was almost a good thing that it happened. CJ got a small reminder that not everyone is accepting...and not all bigots and homophobes are guys with loud mouths...pretty little girls can carry just as much hate. It was really sweet when CJ started going over the wedding plans. I am looking forward to the weddings, but you know how sappy I am By the way...I really want a strawberry, spinach salad now

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLOS!! I hope someone is spoiling you today!
