Prompt 396 When will I see you again?
LitLover commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 396 When will I see you again?
Haha I love that Rob subtly reminded Eric to make sure to lock the door. I would hope by now, after all of the interruptions they have had, that they've learned their lesson. lol I think Rob needs to find someone. Whoever she is she'll have to be a spitfire to handle Rob and not get better bowled over haha. Whiny and clingy, no matter how hot, would not work for him in the long run. Oh maybe some new girl who needs to be convinced to take a chance on the greatness that Rob -
oh my god that's awesome! Hahaha

Poor Kyle must be so freaked out now that he realizes that these creatures can "compel" him to do things. I am curious to see how Jim is going to react when he finally realizes what is happening.

Well it looks like CJ took care of that biker himself. I agree though that Brett needs to have a talk with him about overconfidence and cockiness. That could have easily gone badly if other friends of the homophobe decided to jump in. People don't fight like they are in a martial arts class in real life and just because this time worked out well, doesn't mean next time someone might not jump CJ from behind. I don't think CJ should talk to a reporter. If any press gets out about this...or someone leaks that he is living with his dads because he got kicked out then all bets are off with the step-jerk...he could keep CJ from seeing his brother.

No prompt: Consensual protection
LitLover commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in No prompt: Consensual protection
Haha I loved the conversation with his mom. Reminds me of the relationship between my son and I. We're pretty open and jokey with each other. Nelson is a considerate friend, knocking to ensure he doesn't potentially embarrass Carolyn. Lol. I agree with AC, I want Nelson and Eric to feel free to be themselves and hold hands and act like any teenage couple would. I am not a fan of the major PDA you see with some teen couples (mostly see this with straight couples) but showing affection by holding hands, a hug, or even a kiss or two should never be a big deal. I hope his mom doesn't make Nelson feel like he can't be open in public about his relationship. And this card carrying member of Team Rob will be anxiously awaiting your next instalment Tim! -
I had a feeling they would choose New Orleans. It is the best chance, of the choices given, for them to be together and Dave's career to flourish. It will be excited and they can be "out" as a couple, but I hope that Barry isn't put in any danger. I think he's had enough danger to last a few lifetimes. I doubt things will be that easy though. I love the "bulldog" nickname. It's very fitting and expresses Dave's admiration of Barry's strength. Great chapter Robert! Now on to New Orleans!

Galen had better be careful. He is very attracted to Josh, and Josh to him apparently, but he could end up hating himself if he lets himself become the "other man". I am anxious to find out more about this mysterious boyfriend of Josh's. There seems to be a story there (and not a good one if my intuition is correct)

I love how distracted Will gets by Teddys physical closeness. It's so sweet! I wonder what they're going to find at the end of this next clue. Hopefully they'll get some answers, but I suspect they will be left with more questions.

Prompt #352: A Good Impression?
LitLover commented on craftingmom's story chapter in Prompt #352: A Good Impression?
It's too bad that Kayden and Damien can't move the castle sooner rather than later. I think that the King could use some laughter in his life after the sorrow of losing his wife, and I think that having Kayden around would have him smiling and laughing a lot more. Loved the chapter CM! I always like reading updates on one of my favourite couples -
That was awesome, but I suspect not nearly detailed enough for Tim or Bucket haha. I love the getting so hot you literally shoot flames thing. I agree with Tim though...might be a little dangerous for Neo if Draak tops.

How soon some forget those who have been there for them in their worst moments and helped pull them from that abyss... On the one hand I am happy that Casey seems to be settling into his new home and new life, but I am extremely disappointed in him that he seems to have completely forgotten James. I am sad for James that he does seem very alone right now...and seems (seemed) to have feelings for a boy who 1) is likely straight; and 2) Can't be bothered to seek him out and be the friend he deserves. I am, unfortunately, done with Casey. He has had more than enough time to get his head out of his ass and find James. He hasn't done that...he is happy in his new life...leave him there. He will be fine. I want James to be happy...please let him find someone who deserves him. Teenagers can be a mercurial lot...I think that is why i don't read a lot of stories about teens...so much angst and non-rational thinking I know that happens with adults too, I just find teens (and I have had 2) seem to think worlds are ending at the smallest provocation. I think maybe I am reading too many teen stories on GA right now so maybe I am being to hard on Casey...

So one thing is for certain, you don't mess with Dragons. Awesome, if brutal sounding, retribution. I have no sympathy though. They messed with children...being burned alive was being kind in my books. I love the idea of trust funds for the children. It won't make up for what happened to them, but maybe that money coming back to the kids means the scum didn't profit from their pain in the end. I foresee years (if not a lifetime) of therapy and nightmares, but hopefully they will all end up with good families. Excellent chapter Carlos. I look forward to the epilogue.

A cliffhanger Gary? . I loved the conversation with Kendall's mom. I am so happy that she, at least, is loving and accepting. She also apologized for not protecting him more when he was a kid. That acknowledgement goes a long way with me. That may also get Kendall through if things go badly with his dad (anxiously awaiting that conversation by the way!). Hopefully his mom will also be supportive in action if the talk with his dad gets heated. I absolutely adore the old married couple conversations that K and M have. My favourite was: Do you remember all my pearls of wisdom, Deuce?” “There’s only been a couple of them, so it’s easy.” My husband and I have had this exact same conversation. Another great chapter Gary and kudos to LT for getting it back to you so quickly!

Well it sounds like they have a plan and are prepared to hit these guys where it hurts. I also like the explanation about how the Dragons can control the size of their shifted forms. That would come in handy with radar and stealth, etc. Haha I loved "lust generator". Neo is definitely that

a great first chapter Carlos! I can't wait to see what the Dolphins and the dragons have in store for these sadistic perverts. I noticed that you already posted chapter 2, so I won't have to wait for long

So Sammy likes Mike and it sounds like the feeling mutual, even if they are both confused by what it all means right now. Sammy seems to have a great family support system and that will help a lot as he comes to terms with his feelings. Hopefully Mike's brother will be supportive if/when he talks to him. I feel badly for Tony, knowing he has feelings for Sammy, but it is a first crush and I think, in the end, their friendship will become very important to the both of them. Hopefully the bullies back off, but, unfortunately, they rarely do.

Now how the heck is Kyle going to talk his way out of this? Jim is livid, and I can't blame him. Kyle now has a week to make himself invaluable, so he'd better can the attitude and start some major apologizing. I am curious about these creatures. It seems they communicate telepathically, but it doesn't seem like they "speak" to Jim. based on his reaction to what happened to Kyle in the lab, or if he does he is not letting on that he does. Curiouser and curiouser. Anxiously awaiting the next chapter Albert!

So it was Ishca! Damn Ishca and Aki really set the place on fire with their chemistry together! Those two don't waste any time when they want something, do they? I like Tim's idea...2 new dads for Hel!

What Are We Walking Toward?
LitLover commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in What Are We Walking Toward?
My gut reaction? I think the FBI is being manipulative. They want eyes and ears in that bar and Dave being in New Orleans would be a good way to get Barry there. Dave would take the transfer to be with Barry and make sure he's protected. I can understand the anger at being manipulated. Barry has also sacraficed a lot already. That being said...the Billings (it was Billings?) job would be in Barry's field and he could live a quiet and safe life, but I can't see Barry living a quiet life in the long term. The bar would give him some excitement..and likely a home with Dave. -
So going out onto a planets oxygen poor surface without oxygen? Not a smart choice. Hopefully Jim gets there in time. I am curious to see what other dangers/mysteries this planet holds.

Ran out of space eh? Bah...authors... It's good to see CJ standing up for what is right. I'm glad Dragon is there with him, in case things get ugly...which I suppose we will have to wait to find out...with the whole running out of space and all... So Chip may be cheating...that's not good. If he is, in fact, cheating, he is risking, not only his relationship with Doc but also the friendship and support of the rest of the 8. If he wants out he should just break things off with Doc. Things might be difficult and awkward for awhile but I think the rest of the 8 would at least understand (relationships end...it happens) and they could remain friends. Based on what the guys have said so far, cheating on Doc, if true, could potentially cost Chip all of the guys' friendship and respect.

Chapter 14 Some Games are Team Games
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 14 Some Games are Team Games
I really like Michael. When that man makes up his mind about something he goes full bore. He is not afraid to come out to the world about his love for Kendall and their commitment to each other. I get the feeling that Kendall doesn't quite believe this is true yet. It's like he is waiting for the other shoe to drop, or to wake up from the dream he is having. He seems surprised every time Michael does something that advertises their relationship or enforces his commitment (like giving up his apartment or coming out at work). By the end of the chapter I think he was finally coming to realize that this is for real. It was good to see the Michael get a good reception at work. Granted, he hasn't heard from everyone on the force yet, and there are bound to be a few intolerant people on the force, but I really don't think Michael cares what anyone else thinks, as long as he has Kendall. I wonder if the hot cop will be a good match for Chet? Haha I like Tim's idea of a gathering and have them both invited....oooohh!! Maybe a housewarming party for the happy couple?? I am anxious to see how Kendall's visit with his family will go. I have a feeling his father is not a tolerant man. i wonder if his mother will tell him to not saying anything "to keep the peace". It's going to be a tough visit regardless of what happens. Thank you for another great chapter Gary! Your story is good for my "maple syrupy" soul. -
Poor Galen: meets someone he likes and they're already taken. Liam's reaction about the boyfriend was strange though. I think there may be a story there.

Excellent first chapter! I look forward to seeing where you go with this story.
