    Never say never, but it has to happen organically. I have much of book two written in my head, but devoting so much time and energy is a daunting mental challenge... but if I ever write the first chapter, I doubt I'd be able to stop. Thanks for taking the journey, Patrick. It's been fun for me, and brings back that feeling of pride I have for this world I created. I agree, this is where the book needed to end. It was exactly where I had always envisioned it, with Kellar a content and happy man and mate. Cheers, my friend.

    The pieces are coming together for both Kellar and his granddaughter. It's a lot to take in, but I believe each can see their purpose in the whole scheme of things. This long conversation was emotionally beautiful to me, and I hope for everyone.

    Damn, this chapter made me cry again. I am such a sap. Yeah, it is hard to think of Kellar as anything but a healer, even though he has shown all the qualities needed to lead. You're right... he is very duty driven and goal oriented, so whatever his decision is, it will be the right one. Thanks, buddy.

    We all saw it... Kellar IS an alpha in every sense of the world, but how will he react? And yes, the truth was painful for Kellar, but he is better off knowing it. He is no longer a forgotten orphan. He knows exactly who he is now, and even has new memories. This was a cathartic chapter for him and me.

    For a new baby to be born at Morningstar must seem miraculous to the pack members, including Vega. It's been a long time coming, and it is thanks to a healer who had the kind of mind and devotion Kellar has. Yes, they really are on top of the world. The future is looking decidedly promising.     Things are finally going right for shifters after coming close to extinction. A ghost town is becoming a vibrant community again. How it must feel for Vega to hear the sounds of children playing again. Once again, Kellar arrives at the right moment, and maybe he will shine more light into the darkness. Thanks, buddy.

    Sigh. it took a very long time for me to get to this point. I still remember the relief I felt that I pulled this unexpected story arc off. Sybil and Arthur still have a lifetime ahead of them. Tilly is a wonder, but so is Logan. They are a good match.

    Yes, a lot falls on Kellar's shoulders, especially with the prophecy, but he has Tobyn to share that load. You have it exactly right. Destiny requires some sacrifice... or should I say... acceptance. It is unanimous, and Vega has made the right choice. They will come into Morningstar as equals. Absolutely, Vega land will be part of Morningstar now, and I'm sure it will always come in handy for the united pack.

    I'm sorry, Terry, that I missed this and didn't respond. Yes, Tobyn has a huge effect on Kellar... they truly are a team. Glad you liked the speech. And yes, Arthur played his role beautifully. Appreciate the support.

    Kellar is beginning to understand the depth of his responsibilities. As humble as he is, he is a powerful symbol to these people, and he realizes it doesn't diminish Kellar the healer to accept that. We were all very eager to see Arthur and Miss Sybil reunited.

    I'm so glad! Arthur's story arc remains one of my favorites. He has a horrifying story to tell, but it was really touching when he remembered Miss Sybil was his mate.

    Woot! Thanks, Patrick. I love keeping readers on their toes for this first mystery of mine. It really was so much fun, but it was difficult too, to keep everything straight and not leak any information too soon. Sybil deserves to be reunited with her mate.

    I think the initial response from some Vega members would be to dig their heels in, but time has a power of its own. No, it is not a done deal, but it will depend on how convincing Clarence can be. I can't imagine leaving my little farm.
