    Thanks jagboi! Of course, you're correct in that David needed chill time after the particular Hell he went through. But maybe Kathy and Alex aren't quite as alike as they first appear. Alex is smart, and she has a gay older brother. Right now though, she also has a brain short-circuit.

    Thanks Parker! I think that WAS a kick in the gut for him. Maybe a wake up call about Erik too, but what can poor David do? Call Uncle John? I think Tommy is more smitten with Alex than David is. But then, he's straight. So the irritation you hope for might not come from him. Hehe ...just thinking how David hates to be double-teamed.

    Thanks Def! The good news is, David will find time to meditate again when Alex goes back to school. The bad news is, he's going to get the New Year's deadline dropped in his lap. He's absolutely not ready for it nor for who gives it to him.

    Thanks CG! They ARE in wrong relationships, aren't they? Maybe it will help them when the real one comes along. The only thing I've got to say about Alex is, 1. it's going to good she's pushy and 2. we haven't seen her good side yet. Oops, I guess that's two things.

    Thanks spikey! David, clueless? lol Twoey seems to be forcing himself to be in love, doesn't he? In a strange way, he and David seem to be in similar relationships, although on the surface they don't appear that way. It's almost like each of them thinking, "Oh, this is what it's like to be in love, I guess." Like it's a big consolation prize to what they briefly felt for each other when Twoey was shot. Sad, really.

    Thanks Geoff! David sees stuff in other people he can't see in himself. He felt something wrong with Erik a long time ago. Maybe Matty will give David his first guy-blowjob. He's the only one volunteering so far.

    Wow, this is impossible for me to answer in any intelligent manner. I've only been on GA for two years (this month!) but find great pleasure in digging through stories over ten years old from authors others mention. I'm just a newly hatched dragon, reading my way along and having mountains of fun. btw - thanks for mentioning Twoey, Drew. I don't really belong in a list with real authors yet. Maybe someday, I hope.

    Wow, Benoit was so much more (less?) than I thought. It's good he's out of the way, but he's left so much collateral damage! I think I know a guy in NYC that could save the State a lot of trouble. Barry is alive, but prognosis is cloudy. Thanks for clearing that all up. Please try to do better with Clayton's secret Rex! OK, we'll wait. (what else can we do?)

    In a way, this was seriously about Curtis. Karen's discussion with Casey, and her belief Curtis might be gay, led us directly to the drunken Curtis of the last few sentences. The result of his discovery/behavior has the potential of sending Curtis off in two different trajectories. In one, he becomes even more rebellious and generally not nice. Another, more unlikely path could happen, though. That path would lead him to ultimate redemption. Whichever it is, Casey will be at the center. Let's just hope there is no collateral damage. btw another result of Karen's little talk has got to be Casey feeling more part of the family! Great chapter Ron!

    It was a great chapter CG! Greg has been so good for Denny with his patience and love. It's starting to pay off too. It's always fun with Jay and Miles. Jay really set him up with the stereo caper. A great finale to the Rocky Horror weekend! So glad to see chapters of Jay and Miles. Thanks CG, and thanks Gary!

    Thanks for a Fantastic review Dayne! You have a solid point in the Matty vs. Erik comparison. Everybody can sense Chuck's in safe hands. So what's wrong with Matty? But there is certainly a bit of unease about Twoey in Erik's hands or, God forbid, from his hands. Don't worry about DAVEX, I can't see it standing a chance of sticking.

    Hey! Thanks for reading and leaving a review! You have made an excellent point! Things are happening TO Toph, but we haven't seen him DO too much beyond lots of introspection and, of course, discovery. Let's hope, as he evolves from his colors, we see him enjoy the satisfaction of attaining something he desires, but has to fight for.

    Thanks for the review oxala! 36 hours without sleep? Yikes! How could you even read? Randy is usually in it to see the funny side of things, it's his way. But he's a very smart and perceptive person nonetheless. We shouldn't dismiss his observations.

    I think the aspect of the chapter some found confusing mirrored the daze of a group conversation perfectly. You never completely understand everything that's going on when everyone talks over each other. I thought you brought that off perfectly! Then the Baker thing, like he was singing a different song while all his friends were going with the tune on the radio. Too perfectly funny. A great chapter Dayne. You just keep pulling them out of your attache case!

    Hey Lisa! All caught up - Wow! Matty IS a gem. Too bad Alex didn't home in on him ...oh that's right. hehe. An interesting choice we have between assassins. Damn!! I should have had a contest!

    Thanks jess! It's nice to see Matty putting all that experience to good use. David's dreams seem to be taking on more unusual and ominous characteristics. Something's trying to bust out, that's for sure. If Uncle John was somehow involved, PPF and TWWFWRN had better start watching their backs.

    Thanks Lisa! Randy does seem to have a pretty good read on David, doesn't he. Although he's a little bewildered at the pairings he sees. Not good Erik noticed is right! More on that to come.
