    Hey Carl! Thanks for the review and great comments. Right now it seems Tommy is the clearest thinker of them all, right? Twoey and David - this is a crucial moment for sure. Which way will it go? Just one little clarification. Burch is the creepy social teacher not the creepy Pastor Johnson. Of course with the cops busting up the busting-up-David session, Burch is probably toast. And with the godfather from NYC majorly pissed off, I wouldn't want to be in Pastor Johnson's shoes. So it's a moot point.

    Thanks for your review and comments jess! I guess adults usually don't like to share too much with kids ...hehe. In Gary's case it might me a little different. {I knew better than to ask Uncle John what he meant by the easier it’ll be} implies something a bit deeper about his uncle in NYC. Are you peeking ahead? Alex and Twoey ...coming soon to theaters near you!

    They are each such an interesting take on the line. I thoroughly enjoyed them both. I'm not referring to the poetry, for which I have no credible comments, but the two stunningly different directions the line leads. Good going guys. An interesting concept.

    A very well written and interesting chapter Hunter! Something about the first chapter of Extra Innings put me off it. OK it was the abuse. I should probably tough it out and read Book 1. Whether I do or don't, I'll continue reading this Book. The college environment looks intriguing for Devin. As I said, you write well. Thanks for the chapter!

    Thanks AC! Well, my lack of writing skills shone brightly in this chapter. Graeme mentioned it too. Toph has suffered a major setback in his emotional development. We already know he's an introvert when it comes to relationships, and he was peeking out of that shell when he got blind-sided. He needed to regroup. This chapter was a luftpause in his journey and I guess I didn't convey it clearly. Oh well, you get what you pay for. Hopefully he'll soon be back on track and better than ever. He's got a couple firm allies. The avuncular relationship with Oscar and the whatever-it-is with Gary. Thanks for your comments, they are always well thought out and appreciated.

    Hey Lisa! Thanks for the review! Everybody in this story could use some Tommy Logic, right? Sam never warned David. But in his defense, he didn't seem to expect real trouble. Being Sam though, he did his homework. David can probably thank his life for that and also Gary for inadvertently asking Sam to stay nearby. We don't know how Dad knew she won't be back before he got the pics. Unfortunately there's no Dad POV.

    Hey spikey! Thanks for your usual great comments! I think you're completely right about Gary. All this angst he's showing has got to do more with frustration than anything else. Blaming the time he spent with his girlfriend is probably unfair to both of them. But now he is tuned in and focused - watch out! Twoey was never bedridden. He was just forbidden to leave his house while recovering, by doctors for no reason he (or we) can fathom, short of conspiracy. Maybe Alex can turn Matty straight.

    A great title for the chapter Rex! Clayton laid it all out pretty well for Ryan. "I don't see you as missing anything" - and then going on to describe his strengths. But then Ryan sort of following suit was a great addition. All around an important chapter for two guys who have each their own challenges. And speaking of challenges, lets just hope the Ben thingy turns out well. Thanks for this wonderful chapter!

    A Tommy/Twoey/Sam team won't happen, of course. But Gary will surprise us all (including me). When Dad gets the pics things will change, but in unexpected ways. Hey, that's just the way things go in Skinnyland. The church was just PPF, I guess. When his little dominoes began to fall, he was pretty quick to disappear. At least PPF gone will give David something to cheer up about whenever he returns. Thanks for the review and great comments Def! I love 'em.

    Thanks jess! Tommy's great. The trouble is the friends haven't gotten together to compare notes - yet. They could probably piece lots of the puzzle together if they did. Poor Gary. Well, in Ch 79 he'll stop beating on himself and take action!

I guess not ... This boy needs a serious sit down with Uncle Joe and Baby Doc Duvalier. Hey oxala! Thanks for the great comments! Tommy Logic sorta fits his personality, right? Gary will come to the rescue! You don't believe me - I can tell. Well he doesn't know Idi, but he is connected. Since everybody thinks David is gay, why don't they just tell HIM? Oh right, it's only week 12.

    Thanks for the comments Parker! It's stunning how many of these cult groups exist, in amongst but invisible from the educated population. Well, I guess we sort of see some of it playing out with Trump's Brown Shirts. The community and network of friends is still in a bit of confusion, but they'll come around. Maybe they only need a little push from NYC.

    Thanks Lisa! Oh wow! So many questions! Some of the immediate ones will be answered in the next chapters, so I'll pass on those. Sam has a history of cultivating connections with the police and EMT around town. We don't know how (yet). Remember he got the salient details of Danny's shooting. But we'll soon discover it's a two way street. It's only conjecture, but the van may have been tracking David's activities - but then PPF gave the pickup order when he felt backed into a corner by D2-the-Fotog. The quick rescue and arrests probably made PPF panic and flee. Again, likely but only conjecture. Maybe Liz inherited the love-and-family gene from her ma.

    Thanks Lisa! Yeah a lot in the chapter. About Sam, as you'll soon discover, he heard the report on the scanner - but jumped into action himself. And he was sober, but that's because of Gary, who saved his buddy without realizing it. We're not quite sure about who MD left with but we can make an educated guess. And yes, Alex has a fit - much to the consternation of a few reviewers ...hehe.

    A great chapter Dodger! We really got inside Nathan's mind a little. Robbie's too, although we, out of necessity, are sorta always there. Robbie was trying to do the right thing with Fran, too little too late maybe. And she believes/doesn't-believe him. That's almost as perplexing as Nathan/Daniel. My guess on the latter is they fooled around when they were a little younger, not uncommon amongst boys. That's why Daniel can be so easy going about their "play" now. But what if Daniel is in the closet too, knowing how his father is? Oh well, you leave us with all these tantalizing prospects. Hope your move back over the pond was successful. The Cockney Canuck gets more complicated by the chapter ...Good Job!!

    Ouch! That was pretty grim tim! (but necessary) I have two worries. First is that Sean has done something bad about the pictures and maybe the house too. The second is that Sean has experience slipping out of trouble. Does the U.S. have an extradition treaty with Ireland? I guess we'll just have to keep reading, hehe.
