Week Eleven Saturday, November 15, 2014: Consequences
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Eleven Saturday, November 15, 2014: Consequences
Hey lux! Yeah, not a good day for David and Twoey. Maybe things will get better. -
Well Ron, there certainly seems to be a lot going on we're not privy to yet. That is in addition to all the stuff going on we're not privy to yet from the last chapter. We knew there was a connection between Mike and the coach, but it's different somehow after today. At least Karen is appearing better in our eyes. We still need to watch and wait ...and read Good chapter!

Oh, so very nice Parker. I'll risk my thoughts never good for me with poetry. In one, I'm struck by an interesting prospect, very well described, but it's only substance is thought. Perhaps the mathematical description reveals that. In two, I feel the opposite. A metaphor of life and relationship itself. It's substance is real, perhaps the geode reveals that. Anyway, that's how these two beautiful poems affect me. Thank you for sharing them!

O God, what mischiefs work the wicked ones H.VI / 2 - WS *** The morning broke as ominous as fuck. Gloomy and gray, chilly and windy, unsettled and troubling. I should have sensed it. I should have remained home and meditated. But I was stupid. I threw on some warm clothes, grabbed a piece of toast, wore a heavier jacket and some gloves, tossed on my backpack containing only the camera, Catcher in the Rye and a small pad, heading out at about eight to Mrs. Zimmerman’s apartment. Week Eleven Friday, November 14, 2014: Getting Sloppy
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Eleven Friday, November 14, 2014: Getting Sloppy
Thanks Def! Yeah, D2 is in trouble. Well, sad or not, at least the out-of-towners are going to force something. Quadrangle huh? You realize three sides are boys. David sure gets himself into interesting geometry! -
Chapter 6 Sharing bed and breakfast
skinnydragon commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 6 Sharing bed and breakfast
OMG I got the parallel of the two men marking their territory in the going-to-bed scene. Unless it's just dragondelusion. Patrick was so evil with his striptease and didn't even need the little devil-imp to prod him on! A nice addition to his personality Tim! A really rewarding chapter. Thanks for this! -

Thanks jess! Yeah disaster lurks. Putin probably won't give D2 a job now. Yep, the Syracuse pair seem to be the only ones not paralyzed into inaction! Maybe they can bring things to a head, if they're not too late. -

Hey oxala! Thanks for dropping into the thickening plot. Mike and Gary, how was that for an unexpected coupling ...hehe. Alex needs a cold shower. If PPF recognized D2, he's in trouble. Will the bff cavalry arrive in time to save him? Stay tuned... -

Thanks Carl for the review and comments! Yep. Our little ninja seriously f**ked up today. Could be trouble. Unfortunately, he still views Twoey as a problem even though he knows he loves him, which is the problem (to him). Serious Dr. time is needed to clear this up and he's getting zero right now. All bad stuff. -

Thanks Parker! If D2 was spotted, he's in trouble. Alex is a little smitten right now. (ya think?) So she's ready to take on the world ...haha. Maybe she'll calm down. -
Hey Brian! Thanks for the review and the correction. I was a little sloppy in my research, sorry - all fixed now. My only contact with Anglicans, unfortunately, has been a rather snooty prick who lived next door. I should have researched a bit better than HIM! My bad. Teddy does seem like a likable and clear headed guy! Maybe if he were around sooner, Toph would have stayed home, having an ally ...hehe. Steve and Toph's mother is an unknown to US now cuz Toph doesn't know. Will he be curious enough?

Men are men, they needs must err. - Euripides *** Gary I got a call from Alan Belknap last night. He's the dude I really hit it off with in Syracuse when we went to see Twoey's friend Mike. “Gary, Mike are I are going to be in your town Saturday. We really want to meet up with you. Is that possible?” “For sure Alan. But David has been acting a little weird lately and I can’t promise he’ll be there. I’ll try to call him though.” “No. Please don’t tell David we’re coming down. Hey Tim, thanks for your review and probing questions! Steve/Mother is still an unknown. With only Toph's POV, we only know what he does. He did seem interested, so hopefully he'll probe further when he can find the right witnesses. I'm not quite sure Toph's being gay is or was an issue. When he came out at the dinner, it was the first time he came out. But he also mentioned earlier that everyone knew back in Euphoria, it just wasn't something one talked about. If everyone knew, his family probably knew too, It just wasn't important enough to worry about. (conjecture) Toph/Gary is a whole other thing. There's more than meets the eye on both sides. I think Toph is approaching the showdown though. It might be revealing.
-
Thanks Graeme for your great comments! Toph is clearly growing up. And that's good! As I mentioned to spikey, Steve/Mother is a deadly combo. Hopefully Toph will probe further. He's slow, but he's relentless. I'm not really sure mommy has changed. She sure sounds as calculating and controlling as ever. Maybe we can't see everything, but Steve/Mother doesn't sound too good to me.
-
Hey spikey! Thanks for your usual great comments that I can't answer. A connection between Steve and mother dearest is downright spooky. Toph tried to probe a bit, using Teddy, but clearly there's deep doodoo here. Unfortunately we (the readers) only know what Toph knows. But if you're worried about it, Toph probably is too. Hopefully, we'll find out. Gary could be a villain or an incorrect guess on your (and many others') part. We don't have enough data -- yet. But if Toph is curious, things might be revealed. As you can tell, his nature is to be cautious. So -- yawn --

Thanks for the comments jess! In a way, all stories have a touch of autobiography in them, if there is any kind of emotional connection with the author. Niles is connected to Clarissa and so to Toph's old life. It was a little surprising he wanted to even hear about it, but maybe his attraction to Niles was the real motivator ...hehe
-
Thanks tim! Yes, that was a mature thing to do ...waiting for the dust to settle. I think he AND Gary have a lot of talking to do, and with each other. Toph sort of glided over that at the end of this month. Wait a bit. The zombie story I write will be in 2250, when I are one!
-
Thanks Rex! I think Toph is starting to mature a bit and is more careful with his relationships now. Sorry we missed that Christmas dinner, but we're stuck with Toph's POV ...hehe You're right. Time for Toph to (take) charge.
-
Hey Parker! Thanks for you comments on Toph! Maybe that rotten Early January helped Toph turn the corner. We can only hope. Since everything is Toph's POV, we only discover stuff when he does. Which is sometimes agonizingly slow.

Well Carlos, it was a great chapter and a fine wrap-up to your wonderful Winter's tale. Except you left us with the ugliest cliffie one can imagine, soooooooooooo you better be ass deep into Spring! Don't piss off dragons! It was quite a remarkable Winter though! Australia and DC and the Chipper surprise and Owen and Richie - all great stuff - not to mention CJ maturing before our eyes. Now get Spring here!

BRAVO Parker! A perfect ending(?) to Andy's Odyssey. I'm thrilled you maintained the felicitousness of the writing you employed in the final chapters. You also left us with a faint hope for Reed's Journey. You Devil.

Loneliness. My weekends were vacant now. I took to discovering New Glory again, as I did when I first arrived. The only difference was I knew at the end of each tour I would return to Niles’ park. It was inevitable. I didn’t fight it. On my first return, there she was again. She was alone. I mean in her life. I could easily detect that now. Only the lonely can so easily perceive it in another soul. She was on a bench across a sward of park. We were reflections of each other, reverse images of

Faris and James: The Beginning
skinnydragon commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Faris and James: The Beginning
I can't believe I missed this when it posted! Too many stories flooding GA these days, the big downside to these anthologies. If I see another vampire or alien or zombie, I'm gonna puke green! (end of rant) *************************************************************************************************************** How Delicious! I'm not gonna repeat what everyone else said at this late date. Only that you outdid yourself on the meeting of James and Faris. You always treat them with such a gossamer touch, and this was perfectly done. Great talent tim!
