I'm from the school of Stalin when it comes to religious freaks . Hey oxala! Glad I made your morning. Maybe Tommy will discover Putin if he pokes around more. Something tells me Tommy/Putin could be an awesome alliance.

    Hey angel! thanks for the review and concern. David2 does have a one-track mind, but then that's why David invented him. At least he seems to be keeping everything in its place for now. But you're right about the mess he could be leaving littered around for David to confront when he returns. Let's hope it doesn't get too messy.

    A good chapter tim! It gave us some needed insight into that ...um ...'nice' guy Sean. What a sh**head! But you can see how Tait would have fallen. He was charming, somewhat mysterious and had an Irish accent which, for me, is always a fishing line which draws me in. I'm concerned he showed so many signs so early though. Did it stay at this level or get even worse? I guess I'll need to be patient. (Dragons are never patient! ) Thanks for sharing this story with us!

At breakfast, that boy was actually holding a Bible up in the air while spouting some kind of stuff about Leviticus (I think it's who he said) and still kept using adultery and fornication and he was all rabid, like Pastor Johnson gets. Then he stuffed the Bible in his backpack and headed out to school way before the gang got here. When they finally came by, I had to go out and tell them he already left. N

    Hey Parker, thanks for the thoughtful comments! Oh man, are you sooo right! What a blockbuster surprise! Why did David never mention PPF's equipment size before? We were all overwhelmed (underwhelmed?). Your worry about remaking his soul is a legit concern. We don't want to lose the nice guy in D1. How would M2 and D1 ever get together if that happened? As I mentioned in a few other replies, the next few short chapters will post in rapid order, so stop toe tapping!

    Hey jess! Thanks for the comments. "Hornier than Matty" were somehow not three words I ever expected to see together. As for Tommy and Twoey getting together, I think Tommy would need to be pressed to the wall to ever consider initiating that conversation. He really doesn't like Twoey.

    Andy has normal wedding eve jitters, but amplified by the K-family confusion, the S-family rainbow of reactions, the Z-lacuna and, unique to him, the fear of a genetic curse. I doubt much sleep will be in the picture tonight. Maybe he'll get some shut-eye during the service. Let's hope he explains his fears to Zander soon. I think he can help put the worries to rest. Maybe the good Doctor can too. A kaleidoscope of a chapter Parker! Very delicately done.

    Thanks Rex! Really great comments. The little recurring line does mark a division in Toph's understanding of different aspects of (his) life. btw we'll see it again in the epilogue. - I wonder if anyone will remember

    Hey Def! Thanks for your comments. I could be flip and say the breakup is a typical male thing, but considering how long they were together it seemed a little cold. We don't know why and do we know Steve's previous breakup technique, so we're in the dark. Even though you think you weren't too clear (haha), you're pretty insightful about the Oscar/Toph relationship. Oscar has stuff to offer Toph, and Toph needs it. There's no one else who can do it for him. Oscar also has a few surprises for us ahead.

    Hey Tim! What a WONDER of a review ...hehe Most of your questions can't be answered right now because we only have Toph's POV and, of course, he doesn't know either. Oscar could definitely have helped Toph re: Steve, but a broken heart is a broken heart and it can't be fixed except with time. I don't think Toph has an eating problem. He's suddenly putting on height (it can happen at 19) as a final spurt, but he's not gaining weight, hence he's thinner.

    Thanks jess! What you speculate could be true. As I mentioned to spikey, we only see this story through Toph's eyes, which is a weakness for us (the readers). We can never forget that.

    Thanks tim! I think your comment about life making us take stock is the insight we need for this chapter. Thanks for saying it so clearly! Toph seeing more and feeling more is a new beginning for him. It's sorta how we begin to grow, right?

    Thanks for the comments spikey! You're absolutely right, something big had to have happened to Steve between the eves. We only see things through Toph's eyes, so we'll find out if he does. Meanwhile we can speculate. But obviously something happened.

    Hey Graeme, thanks for your always great comments. I think everything WAS sort of on hold at this moment for Toph. It was as though he was taking a breath from his letdown and re-calibrating. Oscar and the bird lady is the beginning of something, so I'm sorry it looked like a pickle in a dish of ice cream here.

    Thanks avid! I appreciate your comments. The Steve/Toph thing seemed a little casual until near the end. idk maybe Steve didn't want to get serious, or got insulted at not having Toph reciprocate with meet the mommies.

    Hey jaysalmn! Thanks for this. Yeah, Steve is still a little of an unknown quantity at this point in time. Interesting you had that first impression, but I guess he was a little fast and smooth at the first morning meeting they had.
