  1. Gabriel couldn’t get the look on Sean’s face out of his mind as he followed Peter. Outwardly, he was all smiles, but as Peter rambled on about redecorating bills that Melissa had accrued over the last two months, on the inside, he was trying to figure out how he would explain that he knew people from Hershey when he was based out of San Francisco. Peter pushed his way through the crowd of ladies to find his wife talking animatedly to a slender brunette. Gabriel immediately recognized one o

Or nine if you are counting correctly. . There are twenty chapters.

DJ is such a slut! And only eight more chapters to go.

That seems to be the general theory in the comments. Scott is his lifeline. Can you imagine what Gabriel is going to do to our new friend when he finds him?

I agree. It's not looking good for Gabriel. For all his knowledge and remaining secret for all these years, Scott made a horrible miscalculation based on his tummy tums. And what will happen if Gabriel would find out Scott is in the dumpster after he "sleeps" with Sean after the party. I don't know what everyone assumes Gabriel and Sean are going to bone again. . Our mysterious friend is definitely searching for something inside Gabriel's apartment. Maybe he's going to plant a bomb or set a trap for him when he returns? If I were Gabriel, I would be very careful. Let's hope you are wrong.

    Interlude

This is part of the new writing I added for this posting. I really liked Sergio and thought he was a good person caught up with Gabriel so I gave him a bit more to do.

This is exactly what I was hoping would happen. That no one is really sure who or what Gabriel is until the end. Oh, I really want to answer this question. Matter of fact, I want to answer this question so badly I'm going to post the new chapter later on tonight. Who is Fred? . I'm not touchng this one.

It normally takes me a year or more to write a story. The number of views this story is getting doesn't make me want to continue the story. This story is completed, so you'll get the ending of this storyline, but I don't think I'll continue with the planned sequels.

Scott knew the dangers of working for Gabriel. What no one mentioned yet, what is Gabriel going to do now? Sean really has him twisted up, if Sean wasn't in the picture, I wonder where Gabriel would have been? Maybe Scott wouldn't have wound up in a dumpster. Truer words. Michael may have dodged a bullet for sure. As you say, May. Poor Sean seems to be treating this as a game, what happens when he finds out his game actually has stakes?

For sure the two men who attacked him in his hotel room was Yakuza. This man, seems to be stalking Gabriel. I will say, he is the same man who was in the garage who took a shot at Gabriel, and the same man who used the homemade EMP device that knocked out Gabriel's electrical in his building. Now he wants inside. I did not kill him, our mysterious man was behind that as well as throwing him in the dumpster. The man needed access to Gabriel's apartment. Scott was the lever that facilitated that goal. Scott should have stayed in the apartment, where it was safe, like Gabriel warned.

That line was for my husband, not gonna lie! I know right, Gabriel isn't very good at this spy stuff at all. Poor Scott, went out for food and ends up in the dumpster. Maybe he should have switched to decafe?
  12. I will attempt to keep this spoiler-free. Jeff had created a rather unique story that blends elements from a few different genres with a nod to how much technology is too much. Josh wakes up after a horrific car crash with no memory of who he is. At first, he lives in a perpetual fog as something seems intent on keeping him in the dark. But as more pieces of his past start to come to light, we are taken on a quick-paced tale filled with twists, secrets revealed, and an ending that will leave you breathless. Encrypted might be one of the easiest reads of last year and one of my favorites on GA without question. I highly recommend you read this wonderful tale. I don't like rating authors work and I wish we weren't forced to leave a star rating but this is an easy five star.
  13. Me too, I'll let her know you said this! Christine is an important part of the thread that weaves throughout this story. And since she is the outsider, we get to see Glacier Bay through new eyes. She doesn't know the cliques, the gossip, the ins and outs. So she is the window into Tyler's world. Tyler never seems to run from his feelings; he usually tries to confront things head-on. It was how he was raised. That dogged determination might be a blessing or a curse in Part Two. Sometimes you don't need to know every secret. That could very well be the case indeed. Like his peen knows, but his mind hasn't caught on yet. Yes, talking about boobies wasn't something I was interested in discussing either. But sometimes, when you have such a great quote, you'd be stupid not to include it when discussing Christine.
  14. Michael had run straight to DJ’s room the moment the door had shut behind him. He was absolutely bubbling in his excitement to share with DJ the epiphany he had while talking to Sean. It had been so long since things felt so right in his life. It was almost as if his fears and trepidations were nothing but a forgotten nightmare. For the first time in months he was thinking straight without the baggage of his parents or their religion. He couldn’t wait to tell DJ the truth, all of it,

    Ardent

I hate cliffhangers, truly I do. But I have a few on this story due to time constraints and chapter length. I'm not sure if its stated, but this is the last of their contracted obligations. Everyone believes they are going to take a break and then in the early parts of the next year, start the process all over again. Don't know why I shared that, nothing really pertains to this comment for this story. .

It seems Sean has ambitions bigger than Mysterious Neon. The question is, how will meeting Gabriel change those plans? Or if they don't.

I finally finished this one. I can't process this as it's too new, raw, in my mind as I devoured this story in two days. I shall return and leave a more detailed thank you. But, truly a great book. And unlike everyone else, if this is the end, I'm okay with it. We have all the answers, save one, what happens in ninety days. Otherwise, what a great story and to me, a hopeful, uncertain ending. Bravo.

    Unseen Hands

So you told us what everyone suspected, Walter was broken hip deep in whatever is happening. All the talk about AI makes my head hurt, I'm not smart enough to process comments in this chapter. The only thing I want to know, why was he hurting before the abduction?

    Confusion

So I wish I could have finished this last week. What a roller coaster ride...and two personalities in one body doesn't seem like the answer anymore. I am leaning toward Josh being the made-up personality, and "Dexter" is the real one. He acts like an agent, stronger than a boy his age would suggest, and moves faster, with machine-like precision. No, wait. His "parents" created an AI to run the government server. They took it a step further and created an AI for their son. Josh is the real person, "Dexter" is the AI implant. They locked out the server because someone found out about their project and wants Josh as a weapon And for once Jeff, don't spoil anything. This story is on fire.
  20. Ah, so it's a scene you had in mind because of a real situation that you decided to put in a story, not something integral to the plot. I see. Or maybe I'm offering a red herring and it's a big part of the plot. . That's very true statement outside of the story. Brandon is closer to me than Tyler...though both are fictional. I can't wait for you to read the next two chapters. .
  21. So because everyone is making such a big deal about Jeff Whorton, I started reading Encrypted the other week. I only made it a chapter or two, it's pretty good. Beff is really good at creating an air of mystery along with a tight narrative that keeps you guessing. It's really a great political thriller and techno-suspense, with some of the spiciest scenes I've read in a long time. I highly recommend you reading Enchanted, it's a real page turner with lots of twists and also turns that you won't see coming. Bravo Jeff...I'd stand up but I'm afraid I'd fall down. . I hearby stamp my approval on your promotion, it will now be made official on GA. . Couldn't have happened to nicer Texan.
  22. So many things I want to say. From Brandon's viewpoint, he had a bad experience with his parents, and he is trapped in that particular cycle. He's antagonistic, angry, bitter, and might even have a good reason to be a dick. Don't forget about this comment. . Not my reply, but your comment. This is something you'll come to expect. Brandon often goes to weird places. You made a good observation. I will say, I choose my words very carefully, especially in dialogue. Something tells me you'll never see them again. Sometimes I include scenes just because. . Fun Fact: This actually happened to me. I watched an encounter happen on a rooftop. I made up all the rest, but this story has been taken from my life or the life of my friends. Everything is true, the circumstances surrounding each scene, outcomes, are fictional, but each scene is based in fact. Tyler's parents are accepting and wonderful, what I hoped my parents would have been. Brandon's parents were my reality.

    Obfuscation

This was a surprise relationship when I was writing/righting this originally. If I wrote it today, I wouldn't have so many gay people in a single group. But I was stupidier back then.

Thank you, I sat on this story for nearly two years for some weird reason. I'll explain that later on down the lane.
