  1. Five and Bethany do have their own agenda. Let's see if that bites them in the end. As for the typo's, I'm posting without the usual seven or eight re-writes I normally do. I figured I'd go back and clean it up later. As for the wrong name, I've used many unused scenes that have been sitting on my drive for this story. I thought I caught all the name switches, but I guess I missed at least one. Both of these had been corrected. So thank you for pointing them out.
  2. This is the first time I've ever attempted to do such a thing. But I figured since I knew where I was going, I could get there. I've cobbled a few unfinished stories and used some scenes so I think I have a good chance at not getting stuck. Right now I'm writing between 6K and 10K a day. We'll see how it goes as I move into the ending.
  3. My original plan was to do a Christmas series that flew in the face of traditional Christmas stories. I think I balanced the first one pretty well. I think this one is going off the rails. But I'm having a blast exploring some interesting themes I've never explored before. And writing it on the go as it were, I'm just letting my imagination go crazy. I can't wait to see how it all turns out myself.
  4. Before I met my husband, I had a jetted soaking tub in my condo, for two. I loved it. I moved into my first condo I bought December 1st, I met my husband December 28th. By January 25th, I was practically living in his small shitty apartment in San Francisco. He doesn't drive, and so he only made it to my condo a handful of times. After three years, I finally ended up selling it. In all total, I stayed maybe three months in my first house I bought. Remember that. They do seem to be on a collision course. I really wanted to explore the concept of love, being in love, and what that means when you don't understand life yet. I also wanted to have a lot of obstacles. They do not understand the fire they are playing with. And that becomes more clear in the next chapter when another layer of the onion is pulled back when you learn more about Five's motivation.
  5. I'm keeping a bank of fifteen chapters. When I complete a new one, I post a chapter. As it is, I might not make the Christmas deadline for the final chapter as it is. I should've started this in November but I'm enjoying the whole writing/righting while sitting on a fire. I think you might be right/write. They are playing with fire. And what about Bethany patiently waiting at home for Five to return? Marble soaking tub is always a bonus. I love baths, bubbles, and whiskey. They are staying in the caretakers cottage, that used to be the main house and was the original house for PineCrest. The main house hasn't come into play but it will. In the next chapter, you find out the reason Percy is there. Heated walkways, indulgent yes, but it saves shoveling the walk. Japan uses heated roadways to avoid ice and snow build up. It's really cool. It's where i got the idea. Remember, Percy and Five are staying in the caretakers house. The main house is a different animal all together. I do not enjoy pet names/nicknames either. And when I first typed Percy baby, I said, kind of funny but what would be amazing, lets beat the reader over the head with it. Sadly, the name grows even longer and becomes even more obnoxious. But there is a reason why I'm doing it, and its a private joke between me and another author who used the same joke over and over and over and over again for dozens of chapters. So I'm making fun of him, annoying the readers, and giggling like a moron. I might need help. That explains why you still have not mentioned that I gave you a new name, fabulous Krista. I think I might start a petition. stephen is facing his own crisis. That does come up in future chapters. And we get glimpses of his mindset. Bethany, I think, feels like every partner of a strong friend group. She always feels on the outside. All the inside jokes, the almost hurtful things the friends say to one another out of love. And Five, just out of high school, hasn't learned that friends are great, but finding a partner that loves you takes precedence. And to Five's credit, he really was only thinking of the friends. He's a loyal one that Five. Mario will not come back to be an important character. They were twins, and Mario was supposed to be a foil that came between Percy and Five, but I didn't know how bad his injuries were so when I found out, I had to change the plans. It was probably for the best, as my Spanish isn't what it could be.
  6. I tried ot tell him. *shrugs*
  7. “Your pants make your ass look weird,” Five commented as he tried to catch Percy’s heel with the shopping cart. “How so?” Percy asked as he walked faster to avoid Five hitting him for the fourth time. “Usually, it’s all perky and inviting,” Five said casually. “But in those pants, it just looks flat and uninviting.” “And why should you care whether or not my ass looks inviting?” Percy asked as he quickened his pace. “In case you haven’t noticed,” Five said as he tried to
  8. OMG! This comment reminds me of the bullshit I gave the fabulous @Krista for being an advocate of Jolt! I so deserved this. Christine is a cool girl. As cool as she is Brandon is an asshole. But I swear, he's a lovable asshole. Maybe.
  9. Brandon really cares that people believe he doesn't care. He's one of my favorite characters, he's so much fun to write/right.
  10. Thirdly? Well, I see from my notifications that you continued to brave this train wreck of a story. I had hoped to warn you about the silliness that is Glacier Bay. So for now, thank you, I'm glad you thus far into the comments are enjoying the story.
  11. I was that boy in high school. You should have come over to PA, I would have given a helping hand
  12. hahaahahahaah You would think
  13. I don't know, I gave him some pretty serious injuries, not sure twenty four days is enough for him to recover and then get passed around by Five and Percy like a purse.
  14. That's what I was thinking. Five might already be doomed, or is that Percy?
  15. Boner's are always better than any other kind of chapters.
  16. Not sure about that. You should smell some of the delivery drivers that come into my restaurant. If that smell went to your dick, I think your dick would go back inside your body to hide. One guy, I told him to get out of my restaurant and to never come back. I called DoorDash and told them that driver wasn't allowed back. He was the stinkiest person I've ever smelled.
  17. You mean seven boner chapters.
  18. Bethany is an interesting character. Due to the restraints I put on myself, I could only include her in phone calls. But in the prologue that will never be scene, she's a hoot.
  19. So I'm not sure I'll forgive you for not having one bubbly romp in the hot tub. My second favorite place to romp. But that being said, it was highly entertaining. While they might have been budget cuts, you didn't cut any of the fun, entertaining, witty observations. Brandon was a mess. Filled with self pity, fixation on everything else except what the real problem was. And while he could have discovered that in the hot tub with sexy santa, he found out from his dreery, miserable self. What a fun trip and in the vein of twisted Christmas tales, I'll hold this up amongst the top. Thank you! Yes I see the misspelled word but I refuse to fix it.
  20. I hated myself a little for how much I enjoyed destroying Charles. Not enough to stop—but enough to feel the edge of something sharp inside me. How much lower could I sink? Did you really destroy Charles or did you save Tommy? Charles is a real manipulating jackass. Though we still haven't gotten any fun time with Sexy Santa, I'm still holding out for the next part. Which I am going to read right/write now.
  21. Full disclosure, I've never lost a game of gay chicken.
  22. I was thinking that, but there isn't an ending, as it was 120 pages of Percy and Five flirting with each other. Though a hot Indian boy named Nuresh was a bit of a distraction for Percy throughout, but I'll see what I can do with it. For now I'm on chapter 15, about 98K words. But the ending is in sight. I've already gone back and edited a few things in the first two chapters to make sure certain things fit. As I've barely had the time to re-write.
  23. I think being a chef, I'm obsessed with smells. One character in each story seems to be afflicted with that quirk. With Percy and Five, the idea was to see how horny I could make them before they explode. Off page, this game of gay chicken had already gone on in the summer for nearly two weeks, so for them, it's been building for six months. And since they are so comfortable with one another, they seem to be pushing it further than most friends would dare. Owen kind of got a bad rap in the first story. A lot of the comments were negative about him. But I liked Owen so much, I wrote his story, one year before Christmas In Glacier Bay happened. Before he realized he was gay, and before he met Brandon from Tyler's Dilemma. Owen and Brandon had already broken up before Christmas In Glacier Bay happened. The story is called Captivated By Kai, and centers on Owen's realization of who he is. It's a fun, twisted tale of sexual escapades over the span of a weekend spent on a lake house. As for a love triangle, Jason was not into Stephan, so there was no love triangle. Stephan sat on the fence and Owen scooped the boy up. At this point in the story, Jason and Owen are having some problems, but they are basically together though distance is a real factor due to Jason being in college and Owen pursuing his dream of becoming a chef. Who knows if they work out or not? That's another story for another Christmas.
  24. I have it on good authority that Five is not gay. He's just hyper competitive, or is that spelled wrong? Maybe manipulative. I never graduated so what do I know? I wish I could include the prologue that was intended for this story that explains a bit more detail about their game of gay chicken and how it started. But it was seven chapters and around 120 pages. Then I thought about releasing it first, but then I wouldn't have time to post the Christmas story. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I might release it as bonus content once this Christmas craziness is over. Or refurbish it into another story.
  25. It's based on Cedar Falls Montana or Colorado, I just googled a lot of mountain towns. Glacier Bay is my home town, just different businesses but the layout of the town is almost exact.
