  1. You were right, you had smashr, which I really liked, but it was already taken. I think I came up with Wolfr, go me!

I'd cook you the best damn hot wings of your life. Spicy or not spicy, your choice. And if you're vegetarian , I have the best veggie wings in the city. J
  3. So I am surprised that no one has put it together just who Owen is in relation to the mythos of Glacier Bay. I'm not sure who gave me the inspiration for Wolfr instead of Grindr, I think it was @Thirdly, but I am now using that dating app for all my stories. AG47Fox is based on a true story of my life, I was a young seventeen year old who hooked up with a 65 year old. And before my husband, when I was on Wolfr, someone calling themselves silverfox contacted me. I replied with AG47 and the atomic weight of silver, he did not get the reference, but I did send him the video telling him I was coming over. Almost everything in this story is based either on my life or that of my friends. I just changed some things for either comedic affect or to fit the scenario. J

Well, if we ever meet like you are threatening to do, you'll immediately start flirting with me, I have amazing blue eyes. Just ignore the dark circles and bags, i do work a lot. J
  5. I know you might have been expecting Time Stood Still, but I changed my mind and started this one instead. No spoilers when you get to a certain chapter you might recognize from Time Stood Still, I stole it and placed it in this story. You'll know the scene I mean. Lots more of absurdity to come with these two... J

    Prologue

So I googled silver eyes and then gray eyes came up, that sent me down a rabbit hole about the genetics involved for someone to actually have gray/silver eyes. It's like less than 1% of the entire human population. The odds of you meeting someone with legit gray/silver eyes is actually astounding. The things you learn when reading a story written by a thirdly...
  7. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed season one until the last three episodes that Covid ruined. The introduction of Thom and Rand's mother are some of the best I've seen hands down. I'm saying, I don't think they stuck close enough to the source material to keep the die hards and the way they go back and forth so fast between characters, I don't think they can keep new viewers either. I really hope they continue, but Wheel Of Time isn't really being heralded as a great fantasy show, not like the Lord of the Rings show or even Games of Thrones prequel. No one is talking about the show. I don't think they are making enough money off it to throw more hundreds of milliions away on it. I am far from being a jordan fanboy, but I still stick to my guns that they threw too many characters on the screen and didn't give the audience a reason to invest in any of them. Though I am hopeful season three is good after the nightmare season two was. I'll still watch it, and probably go back and watch season two again as I have forgotten much of it.
  8. In the books the Queen of Andor is older, and abdicated the throne to avoid a scandal as having Gaebril for her advisor. He is almost as handsome as Galad though he's older. I haven't seen season three yet, my husband makes me wait until he can binge them all. Matt, either casting choice didn't seem to fit the books in terms of looks. Neither did Perrin, I do think Lan and his Aes Sedi are dead on casted right. Rand is pretty in the show, kind of ordinary in the books. They have taken such dramatic license with this tale, I honestly don't know what is going on. They would have been better sticking to one book per season, they could have controlled the budget better and offer 10 episodes instead of eight. We really didn't need to see or hear about the white tower or the massive set they built during the first season. We got an entire episode about the Children of the Light and then they haven't been seen since. Wasted screen time. The children don't become really important until what, book four. right now, I'm two seasons in and don't really care about any of the three rivers crew as the main focus had been on everyone else. I'm pretty confident, without even seeing season three yet, it won't get a season four.

    Prologue

So I'm about as confused as I can get, I'm diving head first into a tale that has little girls with silver eyes and a mocha face. Never saw anyone with silver eyes before and I'm not exactly sure what a mocha face looks like? But there's an ex-bisexual boyfriend who has a daughter with both of those features and an author that leans into weirdness...I'll play along. J So I googled Mocha face and it was not what I was expecting. I thought it was some kind of burnt skin condition, that would explain someone having silver eyes but it's a color descriptor. When I do or say dumb things in comments, I don't edit them out. I'd rather they stay there so everyone can see how dumb I am.

    Chapter 14

I'm doing research and came across this tale. Seeing it wasn't that long, I dipped my toe. This is by far the most absurd vampire tale i've read, and I can't stop reading it. This is beyond entertaining and the idea of being on an island with a vampire is brilliant. And the offer for sex for blood is a whole new dimension to a stale genre. Too bad it's only a few more chapters, oh well, its a slow day at work anyway.
  11. I have an ulterior motive to reading this story. I am doing research because a while ago someone sent me a prompt that has to deal with werewolves and I know almost nothing about them outside of American Werewolf in London over forty years ago. And since I promised them I would tackle this prompt, I need to know more about them, how they behave, pack structure, powers outside of shifting forms. Is your lore standard lore or have you created your own lore? For the first chapter, like others I am somewhat confused on what's going on. The last page or so really helped define the past, offered enough clues as to what the future might hold. And basically set up our Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. I am curious enough to move on to the next chapter. J
  12. When I was writing Tyler, I never had to struggle with his honesty or not, he seems to like going head on into conflict. For good or ill, lying is not one of his faults. Christine is based on a really good friend of mine from my early twenties, I only hope I can do her justice. She offers the outsider perspective to our little band of Glacier Bay denizens and their antics.
  13. Though like Brandon has discovered, I gave up playing with straight boys a long time ago. Well, after Jason, six years of I'm straight but three times a week would wear boxers signaling that I should come to his bed that night and stick it in, then came Konstantin, another straight guy that came in and out of my life almost as many times as I came into him. For more about those, go read my blog. Straight guys, even if they like playing with poles, are a strict no no for me now.
  14. I think going to Mars is a bit premature....😄
  15. That would make sense as I basically hadn't posted anything in almost twenty years. But that also means I have the freedom to post some of my horror stories I've been sitting on for a few years.
  16. OMG! I just got this...
  17. Tell that to @Lee Wilson 😃
  18. By the way, after twenty years being a member, I am finally reputable enough to no longer have to worry about waiting on a moderator to approve my story. I'm not sure how I feel about that to be honest. I've never had a good reputation in life and do I have to now be nice to people at the grocery store? This is a lot of pressure suddenly to have to deal with at fifty years old. J
  19. That's a good point, Christine is a good egg, bumpy parts on her chest notwithstanding. As for a Scandal, not sure if that's even a word I understand. I can honestly say I never heard that Bowie song. Haven't ever been a fan. I can say I first heard a song a long time ago, My First Trip To Mars by a band called Atticus Fault. They had a minor hit with it maybe in the late ninities. That song is not about being gay, but I have always changed the words to make it gay. I've been referencing my first trip to mars ever since. Are you sure about that? Doesn't he say he's just interested in doing gay things with a certain gay boy? Maybe he's hetroflexible She will go down in history with that distinction.

    Rod's Crisis

Oh, and I’d be happy to host you for thanksgiving. Though in my house clothing is optional, but for me mandatory 😜😜😜

    Rod's Crisis

Fried peanut butter and bannana sandwich’s are a different story. And something I find disgusting. my fried banana hail from South Asia, and my peanut butter sauce has ginger, soy sauce, cayenne pepper, peanut butter. Salt, not the same thing!

    Rod's Crisis

Bah, I never like Thanksgiving anyway. I don’t like any of the food that comes with a traditional thanksgiving dinner. if someone ropes me into it, I always make honey roasted chicken, Mac and cheese, fried asparagus, spinach salad, and fried banana with a peanut butter glaze. good news for rod j
  23. Devin Jenkins sat on his younger brother’s bed as he played Red Dead Redemption 2 while Tyler Scott looked on boredly as he scrolled on his phone. Tyler asked, “Where’s your brother again?” “He’s staying at a friend's house tonight and my parents are at some benefit for something,” Devin explained for the fourth time as he concentrated on stalking the ever elusive moose in the video game. “When are we leaving for the movie?” “In like thirty minutes,” Devin said as he gave up and
  24. Family dynamics have always been a fascination of mine. I’ve seen families who openly hate one another yet they stay in the middle of that chaos because their family. So I wanted to explore that a bit in this story. Should you stay because you’re related or is there a point when you should just cut them out of your life for your own sanity.
