  1. I don't want to be a know it all, but how can Devin know anything, he hasn't talked to Tyler since the night they went to the movies. Methinks Devin is mad about something else, perhaps Tyler going to the glory hole was planned, maybe Devin was behind the partition, has anyone thought of that? He gave in pretty easily about not watching the video. Maybe he had first mouth experience...food for thought. J
  2. STW was a horrible tradition, and I'm glad the readers, like yourself, understand how stupid and juvenile it was. Even thirty-five years ago, everyone was pushing back for even allowing the tradition to take place. I heard, not confirmed because I was long gone, that the last STW, happened in a park because the school forbade it from happening on school grounds. Let's just agree for the sake of this story, that no one gets sued in Glacier Bay. I actually enjoy Tyler and Devin's relationship in this story, I hope by the time you read the resolution, you enjoy how I resolve it. We'll see if I pulled it off. There is a mystery surrounding Tyler's parents and their association with Matt. It only gets deeper, let's hope Tyler figures it all out. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tyler is flying by the seat of his very tight pants and Brandon's hair is blue, for now. J
  3. There had to be some reason why Tyson distanced himself from Matt. I wonder what it could be. J
  4. I started with Tyler's Dilemma, for each adult character, I had to create complete backstories, who created STW, who is Matt and what does he know, and others that I will not list as I don't want to give away anything. Those backstories were so interesting to me, I decided to write the story, so in Glacier Boys we will read who and why STW was started. We find out who Matt is, who Matt's friend was who died, and why Matt was running from the police. We find out the connection between Tyson and Isabella, Matt etc etc. All of those backstories affect Tyler and his dilemma. Matter of fact, his dilemma is the direct result of those stories. After these stories were written, I decided that if I started at the beginning, Tyler's Dilemma doesn't work, because I wrote that one first, so the reveals are important for that story. Once you read the other stories, you already know all the reveals. So when I shuffled the order, I started seeing that many of the secrets still worked. So I am presenting the story backwards. So many of the questions that begin at the end of the story, only make sense if you go back to the beginning. There are also several spin off stories involving characters from Glacier Bay that has nothing to do with this main storyline that I will pepper throughout the posting schedule. We'll see if I can stick the landing. But I assure you, the entire story is mapped out and little things, like why is there a burned up truck at Skater's Cabin, you find out twenty years earlier. Brandon seems to be playing his cards close to his chest while Tyler seems to be flying by the seat of his pants. Hopefully they can figure things out, or someone will help them get their act together. The only thing I can say, Tyler is nuts and Brandon has blue hair, for now. J (sorry about the long explanation but you should see my notes for this story)
  5. So now I have to be very careful. What I will say, Glacier Bay Stories begin in 2022 and then goes backward, until the final is set in 1995. So more than a few of your supposes might not have an answer until that second to last book, Glacier Boys. There is only one character that has been introduced that was invented for this tale alone. All other characters, will become more and more important to the narrative the further back we go. I really am enjoying all the guesses though... J
  6. You are correct, when I wrote the ending scene, I have to go back and change quite a bit of things to make it logical. So you should probably stay away from that file, the ending, as it spoils the entire story. But there is a new story, an experimental story told in journal form that has nothing to do with Glacier Bay. I'm also just finished a new twenty chapter story not set in glacier bay. Also something new, my attempt at a quasi-thriller, not so light hearted. Anyway, I'm just glad you didn't spill the beans about Devin and Andrew, that would have been bad.
  7. It's almost like Tyler's Dilemma is multiple dilemma's. I can think of four dilemma's and we're barely out of chapter 11. Poor guy, he's gonna be tuckered out before we reach the conclusion. Next chapter is Tuesday, let's see if Devin's gonna be the better man or will Tyler have to take drastic measures.
  8. How can you know the answers, hell I don't even know the answers. . Did you read ahead with Part 2? That's not cannon yet....hahaahahah J
  9. I don't have any rational explanation's either. Devin is Devin, and Tyler is like a fish out of water. He seems to screw things up as a matter of pride or something. Family secrets, I'm really loving some of the theories too...I can't wait to find out what happens next. But many of you commenters have written a better story than I have come up with. J
  10. So Matthew Garrison, (not his real name) is a real person, who is currently serving time for some really bad stuff. He was a friend of mine during my teenage years. And maybe the only reliable narrator in this entire tale. If I were you, I'd read over his words carefully, he's a fountain of information. J
  11. I'm a firm believer that you don't have to be blood to be a dad. And being a father just means you didn't use protection, I know plenty of fathers that aren't dad's. That being said, this question might not be answered until Part Two. Coming to a web browser sometime this year.
  12. What is that old saying, secrets never remain secrets. Tyler's parents run the risk of someone like Tyler digging into things they might not want to come out. STW I'm sure is no longer a thing. Even in my backwards hometown, during my time, there was plenty of pushback. But kids do love traditions, especially when you're in high school. I really like your instincts in terms of Devin and Tyler relationship. In regards to Brandon. how many times could things been avoided if two people would just be open with one another. Alas, even with someone as smart as Brandon, people do stupid things. I do think I need to remind everyone that Glacier Bay Stories might be separate stories, there is a running theme throughout. Some things you have questions about might not be answered until that particular story is posted. But I think you'll be particualary happy when Glacier Boys is published, the second to last Glacier Bay Story. Answers a lot of questions.
  13. At least the day hadn’t been a total bust however. His first class had been with Christine. They basically just texted each other all period. It was going to be nice to spend the whole year with his new friend. He didn’t feel comfortable telling her who his mystery boy was just yet, but just being able to talk about it with someone was helpful. He would’ve preferred if that someone was Devin. But the boy still wasn’t talking to him. They had three classes together and much like that
  14. Number one, when I like something I obsess over each detail. And your reply got me rather angry. Somehow, upon first reading, I did not get the implication that the reason Gabriel shifted was because he dry humped Ray. Is Ray's butthole so powerful that even just dry humping it can have magical affects? I'm not a shifter but I kind of want to see what the fuss is all about now. Nor did I get that Ray was so pissed off that he was cock blocked, but upon re-reading, you made it abundantly clear that was his frustration. So Ray is whore and now my new favorite character. J (it is very much possible to enjoy this story, I am living proof)
  15. So I'm all in on this wacky and fun story. Your imagery and narrative descriptions on this shifter story are so much fun to read. So I'm a bit confused on one point... Ray gets dry humped in his sleep by Gabriel, who did not ask permission. So as a form of restitution, someone has to hump him for real? Is that even a punishment? Ray clearly wants to be humped and apparently everyone in the pack wants to hump him. I'm sorry my son violated you in your sleep, as our way to make it up to you, I'll force him to hump you when you are awake. Isn't that like inviting your rapist out for drinks afterward? Sorry, I'm just being silly as that whole exchange struck my funny bone. Don't mind my craziness. J
  16. Me thinks you are all wrong, our baby boy Ray just cured the vampire of being a vampire. His blood brought the man back to life. That's also why our boy Gabriel had such a reaction when Ray gets a boner. J
  17. It's so surreal to see a complete chapter summed up in just a few lines. I think you pretty much hit on everything...I'm in awe.
  18. I'm a chef so I use smell and taste with just about everything. I can't help but use it in my writings, it's a huge part of my life. I've always thought of Brandon as someone on the outside always looking in, someone who is trying to find a place in the world while keeping the world at bay. None of those scenes were hard to write, I just thought back to my childhood. My biggest problem was making sure I didn't go too far. J
  19. That's a question I still ask every time.... J
  20. In my twenties I absolutely made decisions based on fate flips. Just like once on vacation, I decided to only go after "straight" guys after a fun encounter with a hot nerd at gamestop. I was a hot mess in my twenties and most of my thirties. J
  21. Definitely a mix of all three possibly. We all know that memory is not a reliable path to truth. That being said, all the names of the characters, true, did I sleep with Eric, yes, twice, did Jason go around egging people to do blow job shots, yes. Is all the dialogue accurate, probably not. Did I leave a girl at Five's house and go home with Eric, yes, very much. It was several years later, when Five was going through all the photo albums, back then boys and girls we actually had to get the pictures printed and then to store them we put them into albums and then onto a book shelf where we never looked at them again. We're going through the photos that Five took, and I see myself with this girl, my arm around them, staring at one another in an intimate way, and I asked, who is that? Everyone of course started laughing at me. They all remembered her because they were stuck with her, but I had completely forgotten who she was. If I told you the whole story about who she was and how we got together, you'd never believe that story. As much as my memory can be reliable, everything in this series is true to life events that really happened except the parts that didn't.
  22. This one of the hardest things I had written. Ripped from my life even with hindsight causes pain. My first real love and the first of two straight boy relationships that defined me for almost twenty years. j
  23. The first time I had sex I was fifteen. He was an older boy and that bending over the couch resulted in me getting kicked out of my house. And since my parents took the extra step in declaring me a fag to the entire church, I was basically outed to my entire community. So for a few years, fifteen to eighteen, I did all the drugs, fucked all the boys/men as an out and somewhat proud gay boy. I couch hopped when I could, lied to use the shelters, or struggled living on the streets when necess
  24. Thank you so much. I loved this little short, I have an idea on where to go from here but I’ve never felt the need to do so. I think it’s perfect right here. that being said, since this is part of glacier bay stories, one of these characters will be a much larger part of an upcoming story and two of them will have a cameo in another.
  25. I only have two questions... 1. Why is it so important for CottonTail to keep his identity a secret? I understand keeping the identity of Express a secret, but just why is he hiding his identity, who are you Hearst? 2. Why is Wen so obsessed with Jaime? And is our jilted mystery lover perhaps Wen? 3. What is Jaime hiding about his past? I know I said two questions but I can change my mind.
