Kundun has given Jamie yet another task. This one is of great importance. I'm sure Jamie and the disc will work on the problem diligently. Exploring this station on the crescent has already given Jamie some ideas. The radio wave/wi-fi used to control the machines is different that the electrums. However, I think Jamie will determine that they are also part of the source of magic. Jamie explored electrums and photons by capturing both with his magical hand. He also captured Skoda's knack using the same method. If he and the disc study this more, they might be able to figure out both magic and a way to capture, control or block the magic being used against them. I wish that I was there to explore with them!

I love thrift shops, and stopped in several times a year just to see what they might have. I usually went with a friend who frequented the shops weekly. He liked to look for antique vases and old paintings. When he bought something, he would come over to my place and get me to look up the item on the internet. It was amazing how many paintings he found from known artists worth much more than he paid for them. The vases could also be looked up and the same thing held true about their value.

You had me laughing my head off with this one Ivor! My guess would be about 1 in 100 million give or take a few million! This is a cringe worthy thought for most boys. Does Troy have a filter on his mouth? The progress they are making to establish a GSA at school is good. They have a reasonable plan and a good advisor. The visit by Mrs Harris went well except for the news that Adam's father's trial is soon, and there is a remote possibility he might be returned home. I would consider it impossible sense Adam's father pulled a gun on a police officer. If nothing else it would demonstrate how dangerous the man is. One way to ensure that happens might be for Adam to testify at the trial.

I wonder if Mike and Kyle know about the special place that Adam and Troy once used. It might make a great place to hide. Troy is having some problems with sex after the vicious attack. That is not surprising. It was surprising that Adam's little trick apparently solved the problem. Let's hope it is a long term solution.

The boys are back to the mischievous ways. Now to find out if they caught those two teenage turds that assaulted Troy.

Some great news from their lawyer Marvin. However, the boys' celebration was a tad bit inappropriate. It does worry me that Mike and Kyle are still on the loose. The ex-detective to be is still a scumbag who should be locked up. I'm beginning to think there may be other players in hiding. This seems like the issue was quickly resolved, maybe too quickly.

Their attorney seemed to be optimistic as well as the prosecuting attorney. I think she was surprised at how little knowledge of the case had been sent to her. I would be suspicious of not only the dicktective, but of others along the chain between him and the PA. I hope that some of the boys will cave to pressure and really get to the instigators and the corrupt detective. I was glad to see that Adam's instinct was to encourage Troy to have sex. I hope that this will help Troy heal faster from the rape. To me rape is an unwanted sexual assault of any kind and not just anal sex.

I wrote my response before reading yours. I feel the same, but lack the eloquent way with words that you have. I also loved the part you spoke of about being a parent.

What a sensitive and bittersweet chapter. I could feel the weight of Kyan's growing frustration and depression. It was amazing how you developed his distress so quickly. The kids probably didn't realize what was happening, but their behaviors after time seemed to be the result of what was happening to Kyan. Dayna's family continue to impress me by how involved and loving they are to Kyan. Jessica and Perry seem very much in sync and know what is needed. Jessica for the children and Perry for Kyan. Perry was so right about Kyan needing to let off steam before talking about what was happening. Perry's actions and words demonstrate clearly how much he loves his best friend. Not sexually, but at a basic level that includes both best friends and brothers. You really have a way to emotionally get this reader quickly involved in your characters, MrsGnomie!

These were very brazen comments for Mike and Carl that identified their homosexual behaviors to the other two. This might be something that is important later in the story. I am hoping the ideas in the other comments might lead to justice for these four pieces of crap. As for the detective, I hope he also sees life in the prison. Hopefully there he will receive some convict justice. That's usually kind of fatal. Troy and Adam will survive this although I imagine that Troy's dreams will be even worse than those of Adam. Troy's parents are strong, and hopefully their attorney will be able to make sure justice is brought to the 5 aholes. I'm sure the boys will be very reluctant to return to school. I hope their friends will be there to defend and support them.

Another cliffhanger. I can't believe that Adam would ever hate Troy for any reasons. Because of the pictures and the intervention of the dog walker, I don't suspect rape, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have happened. I do hope it didn't.

More likely a lump of coal or worse. I worry that the detective is familiar looking to Adam because Diamond is a member or the hateful church or a drinking buddy of Adam's sperm donor.

Very punny Ivor, and so much like you! From the conversation Adam had with Carlos, it sounds like Carlos is also gay and has a homophobic father. I hope that he gets the support of his friends and hopefully his mother. Maybe his father is one of the types of parents that will be able to accept and love Carlos eventually. From the evidence given, Troy probably got the text from his parents, but was intercepted on the way home. I hope he will be OK. Got to run now to find out!

Some great questions @ReaderPaul! Geron will need to answer most of these, and I will look forward to his answers...or not. He likes to use this a lot . One question I think I can answer. How much mass can the others translocate. Jamie has a special glove made by the nether machine that increased his power to translocate. Not confirmed but implied is that it has some effect on his other powers. So far, I don't think Geron has mentioned that the glove has been made for any one else. Maybe this has happened and I missed it, or it will happen sometime in the future. If it affects other powers, it would be a great addition to the strength of all the members of their team!

Oh the joy of the first massage you have been fantasizing about for so long! I too enjoyed my first massage and it was delightful!. Unfortunately for me it was not my boyfriend, but a very sweet older lady from Sweden. It is great to see Troy become more confident and take risks to do things he has not tried before. I do worry about the recurring dream. Carlos is a wildcard at this point. He could be straight or gay, homophobic or gay himself, and enemy or friend, a potential wedge between Troy and Adam, or potential boyfriend of a friend or even a boyfriend for Mike D. Running is a great sport that builds the body and the confidence. It also is a great stress reliever. At least one good thing came from the ugly fight. I do wish that they had documented what happened.

Another fine chapter Ivor! I like how Troy's parents not only accept the boys' relationship, but support it. Adam is going to thrive in this new family. He is extremely lucky compared to other children who have been thrusted from their homes by unloving, bigoted and hateful parents. He has a new home and family.
