  1. Hi @WolfM, I am still following the story and was pleased to see a new review posted. I miss this wonderful world you have created. I hope that your muse continues to encourage new stories in this universe. Best wishes, Terry

    Chapter 2

Considering what Troy has already done for Adam and given Adam his virginity, I feel that Troy is very much in love with Adam. Although not proven yet, if Mike Daubney did betray Troy and Adam, it is very sad. Jealousy is a vile thing to harbor inside your soul. As for Adam's father, I agree with all the comments made. I doubt he will truly get what he deserves until he dies. Then he will have an eternity to suffer from his sins. I hope now that Adam is living with Troy's parents, he will be safe. However, I doubt that if for no other reason than the story would end there. Adam's sperm donor, the vile church of haters, and probably spawn of the haters in school will continue to make problems for both boys.

    Chapter 3

I love and agree with this statement 100% I truly believe the truth in this statement. Knowing that Connor has this philosophy, I look forward to how he will take advantages of change to improve his life and the lives of others. He did use that several times during the chapter. It helped him with Brandy, and the overheard conversations. Connor may be the soul mate that Dakota sees in his vision quest on the reservation. Connor may be small now, but it seems as though puberty is lightning fast for him. I'm sure he will also start to grow out of his clothes very soon. The speed is very remarkable. I wonder if it indicates something more to come. I like the style of writing so far. It is well paced and flows well without disruption. The characters are all nice people with Connor and Dakota having very engaging personalities. I am really enjoying reading this so far, and expect that will continue.

    Chapter 194

I'm sure @weinerdog would not mind being stuffed with shrimp before being put on top of some hot buns.

    Chapter 194

I wonder when Colin will be asked to buy a bigger boat. 😄 It is distressing that Arnaud is sick. That he feels the need to prepare his estate for Christian to take over means he feels the end is near. I wonder if he just needs to relax and spend more time enjoying life than worrying about the family's problems. It's nice to have Roger back. The fishing trip was successful and great meals will be had by all. I'm sure the boys will be very happy to have another paella dinner.

    Chapter 25

Great chapter for a furlough. Jamie has accomplished his task in transferring his knowledge to Kundun. He has also gained much knowledge from Kundun and Snave on both magic and history. If Jamie's feeling the castle will be involved in the action, having Kundun, Lestho and Pallin there to guard the castle and join the group in the fight might be pivotal to the outcome of the battle. What intrigues me the most is the history. This gives the opportunity for the plot to twist in many different directions. I'm looking forward to see how this information will be used. As for Thorval, I am now thinking that he knew more about what would happen when he left for the conference of mages. Hints in the story, especially some of the things Snave said support that idea. It may be that Thorval is deliberately not contacting anyone, because he wishes to remain hidden. Since the evil mages are currently busy with their own plot, I don't think they would attend the conference. They might have sent a spy, but that could be dealt with quietly among the good mages at the conference. Will number of good mages show up later at a critical time? Speculation is fun!

    Chapter 25

The things on Geert's list to explore has grown huge. There is also much more to find out about the history of the human allies and ancestors. There might even be a few of the interstellar ships that still function. It might be a different group, but in the same universe. There is definitely a great interest in a sequel!!!!!!
  8. Thanks for bringing us this very hopeful news. I have lived through the entire Aids time, and lost many close friends to the disease. I have younger friends, who like Chris, are taking treatment and are honest about their condition. I know a cure will make their lives so much easier.
  9. Getting late, so I'm checking out for the night! Have fun all.
  10. Hi Man! Glad to hear you're staying cool. The rain isn't fun, but sweating isn't any better. How are you doing on your book?
  11. Sounds like there's a lot of birthday cake to eat! Glad things are going well for you and your folks.
  12. Good timing Bucket! I just posted a gif of eating popcorn on comments made by kbois and Mrsgnomie not more than a minute ago.

    Chapter 1

I like the start to the story. The different parents are at polar opposites of the spectrum when it comes to acceptance of gays. I respect Troy's parents, and fear Adam's folks. The boys are both interesting contrasts. I would like to more about why Troy has been attracted to Adam for several years. They seem to be bonding quite quickly and I hope that doesn't cause a problem for them later. Overall, you have set up the foundation of the story very well.
  14. Howdy Drewdy! I'm not sure about Clo, but it makes me happy! How are you and the family doing?
  15. Hi Spike! I see you have been keeping Drew busy! It kind of reminds me of teasing my cat with a laser light pen or a long strand of dried floral dune grass. I love driving the cat crazy.
  16. Hi Albert! What are you and Steve doing? By the look of the menus you send, you should both be exercising! I'm getting fat just reading and/or looking at your food. Of course, with your forecast there, I'd just sit in front of an air conditioner instead of exercising!
  17. Hi Bucket! I guess you are suggesting silence it golden. Too late, I already had my say about the elephant in the house.
  18. Hi Clo! Hope you are doing well! The news reports on weather in Europe are frightening. I hope you are far enough north and close enough to the ocean to be cooler that most of France. It's cooler here than most of the US and at least southern Europe. Those two boys surely fight fiercely. I hate to think about how they make up!
  19. I don't know if @chris191070's post put you into a good mood or drove you to drink. Of course if it were a @kbois story I wouldn't have a doubt of which state she'd be in.

    Chapter 1

I agree. The two anthologies so far this year have been very good. I look forward to next month when the next Annual GA Anthology is released. I bet there will be some awesome stories for that one! I still look on the other site regularly to keep up with the challenge stories there.
  21. Wayne is a gay teen living in a toxic household with abusive and bigoted parents. He is a strong and resilient person that cannot be broken by the environment in his house. It takes some years, but when he gets the opportunity he makes his exit in style and grace. This is a romantic story and tale of courage. I also agree that it is a must read story.

    Chapter 1

I wanted to read this story after reading another by Geron from the same Author's Challenge. That particular Author's Challenge has produced some great stories. I am happy to have read this story, because it shows realistically the challenges facing young gays with bigoted parents like Wayne's. Wayne had both the intelligence and courage to remain until the opportunity to escape became available. Carlos and his loving parents provided a great balance to the story that kept it from being depressing. I think that there may be a chance that Ethan was also glad to get away from the toxic environment of the parents. It would certainly serve those bigots if they lived the rest of their lives lonely with no contact with either son.

    ROYGBV

This enchanting story is worth reading many times. I first read it on another site, but am overjoyed to be able to review it here on GA. Changes come to us all as they have with Roy and Randy. Humans react to change in many ways, and how they deal with change is important. The story has many excellent lessons for all centered around how these two teens and some friends deal with the changes. It left me feeling warm and hopeful for the future. A feeling all of us need to feel daily.

    Chapter 1

I am still in love with this wonderful story having read it a couple of times on the other site, and now again here. I feel like it is an inspiration and hope for all people. Change can happen to us all anytime. Randy, Roy and their friends were caught up in the change, but by accepting it they were able to take advantage of the change and create a new life for themselves and a new environment in their community. The story always leaves me feeling warm and hopeful for the future.
