  1. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know you're not sorry. I just want to let you know the bill for the tissues are digging into the profits I make from bandaids!
  2. I know the feeling Gary. It was difficult to leave my mountain home by the rivers. However, change does happen. I know that my change was for the better, and am sure the Vega Pack will find out the change is good for them also. BTW Bill is a very lovable guy and I wish him the best.
  3. Gary, I agree. Having Dan along is a pleasure. You'll get better results by asking Miss Sybil. Gary responds to questions like this with every time. I hope that's the truth every time I read this. Yes you did @Albert1434! All three times I read this. Watch out, I'm catching up to your record of 6 times.
  4. Hey Dan! I'm glad that you invited me to read along! I am more deeply in love in this story than before.
  5. This reminded my of something I often wondered about Cahlar. He has children from a mate who was female, but was she his earth mate? Did Cahlar have an earth mate that was human? Was it a male? I suspect we will never know, but I still have that haunting question.

    Just a dance

Mrs G just loves to stir the pot. I am sure she is getting a kick out of those comments. I love all her great stories, but this one is one that I hold close to my heart. The wonderful thing about her stories are all the comments. They can go from serious to hilarious in a flash. It is kind of like your No comment. I whole heartedly agree that Mrs G does do a great job! Yep! ❤️ I need to reread this again! I miss the DONNAS.

    Birth and Death

Hi @Grumpy Bear! Awesome news! I am so happy to have you back again. Also that you have been able to overcome the depression. I'm looking forward to reading the new chapters.
  8. Gary has a tendency to keep me jumping down the rabbit hole also. He has a ton of great stories and even those I have read more than once always grabs me each time. Glad were in sync again.
  9. Hey @Drew Espinosa! Since you never share your recipes, I resorted to desperate measures. I so much love enchiladas that I learned how to make them. I was surprised at how easy they are to make, and have them on my menu a couple of times a month.
  10. It was! It was actually for both of you. I see in your poems the caring, compassion and need to help others found in Kellar. Your observations of nature is apply reflected in Kellar's own ability.
  11. Yes I did and loved every word of it. However, Virgil and Wyatt are still on the road to Larkspur.
  12. I did make it farther in this story slowly savoring it. However, the great writing of the author once again foiled my plan. I got about half way thru and started to binge. I did like hearing that you are still considering to continue this tale. With all the wonderful characters, two possible packs with which to connect and several threads to continue, I am sure you could create another wonderful magical, mystery tour at least as great as this story has been!
  13. I love this sweet and simple ending. I already reviewed and recommended this story, so look for a comment in the story comments section. Great tale, awesomely written Gary!

    New Perspectives

Fendral's ideas about Kellar not being a reincarnation was very logical. Telling Kellar that seems to have helped Kellar a lot. I like that he is not a reincarnation of Cahlar, but is a unique individual with a different purpose.
  15. There were some tense moments as Fendral fought his wolf, and Kellar struggled to connect the burnt umber band to the copper. Kellar and Tobyn do make a great team as mates and healers. They first gave hope and now they give Fendral a reason to return to the pack with the healing.
  16. Bless Miss Sybil. She brought closure for Kellar by revealing what happened to his parents. Kellar is truly a part of the Morningstar Pack now. He is shocked greatly to find out that Fendral is his grandfather, and the he, Kellar, is the rightful Alpha of the pack. He's got a lot to think about now.

    Growth

Tobyn and Kellar's nudges are quite effective. I'm happy that they worked for Connor. I would worry too if I were Hugh. Besides, Connor needs to start eating better, and Joanne's cooking with really help with that. Elinor's news was wonderful, and I'm sure Tobyn will make a great older brother. Things look well for the future of the pack with all the marriages and now a new child. A very happy chapter!
  18. Fixing Connor then fixing him up with Hugh went very well. I enjoyed how Connor was able to quickly accept the knowledge that they are shifters. That Connor is Hugh's mate was obvious, especially since Connor cared enough to ask Tobyn to shift first so Connor's reaction wouldn't hurt Hugh.

    The Reunion

Tilly's transition from a total mess to a very controlled and proper lady was great fun. I hope the guys remember to go to the lodge after their run.
  20. Looks like everyone in Vega is prepared for the move. I'm personally looking forward to seeing Author and Miss Sybil getting together. I think it will also be fun to see how Tilly and Logan react when they meet.
  21. The conversation Tobyn and Kellar had with Ulrich and Millicent was beautiful. I especially liked the comment Tobyn made afterwards.
  22. Tobyn's pride in his mate was well founded. Kellar's speech went well beyond motivational. It was a powerful call for shifters to take charge of their very existence. Well written Gary!
  23. Another tear filled chapter as Arthur regain not only his speech, but memories of Sybil as well as the ability to shift.
  24. Again the tears! My tissues were about gone by the end of this chapter. They were tears of joy for both Author and Miss Sybil. I'm glad Kellar has finally felt what his is doing is miraculous.
  25. Shifters are much like their human cousins when it come to change. I am sure some of the Vega pack will resist moving to Morningstar. I hope that the truth these people now know will convince them that there change will be for not just a better life, but the continued survival of shifters.
