  1. I loved this poem which rings true in retrospect. I is a great statement of pride and joy. This is the kind of poems I want to also write.
  2. This is a well written poem Drew. At twenty one I felt like I was on top of the world. In retrospect I realize that I was still a child at twenty one. I hit my stride at thirty, so I'm wondering what you will say in your poem for your thirtieth birthday. ❤️
  3. A cute poem from the dork side of pi. As Gary said, awesome just like you.
  4. This is a great story full of fun, adventure and good friends. I'm not the only one to think it is an awesome tale. Just look at the number of recommends and reviews it has been given.
  5. You mean you tried.
  6. I read The House of Storms about three weeks ago. I guess I need to go back and read Rules of the Road and Road of Dreams again soon.

    Chapter 6

Cia is an author and site administrator here. Many of the books Cia has written have short chapters of less than 1000 words. Since Cia sometimes edits or betas other authors, my comment was an observation (with a vague reference) to the length of chapters in this story. The comment was not intended to criticize the length of the chapters. I really liked Plattenbau and am now getting into this story. Looking forward to the next chapter.😄
  8. This is my third time around for The Second Time Around. I have a laugh fest each time I read this story. Sexy, smoldering romance between Chris and Dave, and Debbie a wise and witty boss combine with endearing friends and quirky customers in a dive into the world of memorabilia and collectables. I recommend you brighten your day with this amazing sequel to Thrift Shop Nation!

  9. Next Christmas I'm writing a letter to Santa requesting that a certain author add to the Thrift Shop Nation and Amsterdam Tales! You cracked me up whenever Chris did his impersonations. I so want to work for Debbie in her shop. The scenes with both Mr. and Mrs. Karticker were so delightfully fun. Thanks, Geron!
  10. You made an excellent choice in selecting the example Myr. It is both haunting and powerful.

    Chapter 6

Interesting use of short chapters to tell the story. Have you been taking lessons from Cia? Ludwig's confession followed by his chilling words and actions was just plain stupid. He needs to protect Caden and gain his trust. Now Caden is panicked and determined to protect himself. If Ludwig had used his brain, he could have Caden's blood and maybe a side of lust to boot. Instead, he got a boot to the nuts. Ouch!
  12. Happy Easter All!
  13. A lovely description of Earth's companion. Your poem provides a wonderful perspective of how the moon affects human thoughts and emotions.
  14. I enjoyed the positive view of life and change you expressed in this poem. It is an energetic and encouraging exhortation to appreciate today while looking forward to tomorrow.
  15. Taming my hidden wolf was not an easy task, but worth the effort. The wolf in my life is ADHD. It took over 5 years to tame it, accept it as a part of me, and finally acknowledge the great value it has added to my life. Your poem beautifully described the problems I experienced before I came to terms with my wolf. Well done!
  16. If they ever let you in Thailand, be sure to come for Songkran. I'll use this with ice cold water to cool you off after you see all the hot Thai guys cruising the streets in wet clothing as they play.
  17. Songkran starts this Thursday and ends officially on Sunday. Happy Birthday Drew! ❤️ * No amphibians, murder spiders or feral lions were hurt in producing this sign. *All glitter used is recycled from nature preserves, World Heritage Sites, and National Parks around the world which were mysteriously blanketed by the insidious stuff!
  18. I found the site, and must say the Ethan, the host is hot! I watched one video and did a scan of most of his videos of Thailand. Unfortunately, I didn't find the video with elephants.
  19. I have had a long standing love for Haiku poems. These are wonderful. The tribute to Guero was a very loving remembrance.
  20. What a fun poem that had me laughing. When I was old enough to have those dreams, I had stopped writing Santa years before. Did the letter work for you?

    Poetry Prompt 1

You did more that just justice in this Tanka. I loved the image you created. It was as fresh and lovely as the new fallen snow it described.
  22. The birthday party was a joyful time for Rusty's brother, sister and friends. I was delighted to see this different side of Rusty. He may not seem overly affectionate at times, but the love he has for Gabriel and Anna was evident in all his actions and words. All the possible things that would ruin the day for Gabriel were carefully avoided by Roy and Rusty, although their last conversation almost spoiled the day. Of course, Rusty still is sending out signals that he is gay for Matty!
  23. Running freely in the fields and forest behind my childhood home was special to me as a child. You captured exactly how I felt then in this lovely poem. Thanks Wolfpup!
