This chapter is a wonderful climax to the story. Mike is right about building memories. I suspect that Gunnar, Mike and maybe Thomas will make their way to Canada someday. Ezekiel is an interesting addition to the North American bear population. Kermode bears have blonde fur like the Kodiaks do, but while Mike, a Kodiak, is a very large brown bear, Ezekiel is a white subspecies of black bear and more Thomas' size. The battle went well for me since I had hoped the lycan Council's army would come to the rescue. It was great that Apollo lead as the general and was ably assisted by Susie as his beta/colonel.

Great cliffy here. 40 to 3, but two of them are very large and dangerous bears when provoked. I am still holding out for the Lycan Council to arrive and save the day. Kane's plans for the capture were despicable. Minnesota going quiet is at least one good omen.

The change went well and Mike is now a Kodiak bear. Kodiak bears are the largest of the brown bears and their color ranges from blonde to orange brown. They are second in size only to polar bears. Mike is going to be bigger than his Papa bear. I understand the desire to celebrate this momentous occasion, but Thomas was careless. He should have been more cautious and use his nose to sniff out the wolf. The tension has ramped up and a major battle is in the very near future. Hopefully the mole will pass the information quickly to Apollo and the Lycan Council.

I love Susie and the She-Wolves family. Susie is one very smart lady with big balls. She deserves to be a Beta! I am sure Apollo's offer will extend to include them all in the Chicago pack. I hope Apollo will convince the Supreme Alpha to share information about Kane and his pack. It can help better relations with the bears as well as keep safe fellow lycans who can testify the need to make war on the fundamentalists. I hope Kane and his pack are decimated in the war. They are truly deserving of annihilation for their evil arrogance, cruelty and hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy (The practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.) thy name is Kane. Like most fundamentalists, he doesn't follow the rules of the religion he professes to uphold. Now he wants to become an Emperor of Lycans? That's going over like a lead balloon with the Lycan Council. Now he has alerted the other fundamentalist packs, it is going to be more dangerous for Gunnar, Thomas and Mike to leave the property. Here's hoping that Mike's first change is good and he has the fat to make it less painful. I still want to know what species of bear he will be.

Hi Drew! I though you launched your own missiles. I didn't know you had a command center and aides to assist you. Is this how you keep your herd entertained?

What a great Christmas! Those beds are going to be busy for the next four months! I see now why Gunnar needed to know before he went shopping if Mike had decided to turn. Not just the food, but all those clothes.

All the comments make a lot of sense. I think you got use hooked GrumpyBear! We are all cautious and concerned about the future of living off grid. I am sure that the huge purchases will be memorable. Hopefully they are far enough away from Kane's pack that it will take a lot of time for Kane to track them down. I am also pleased that Mike has made the decision to be turned.

Thanks to timely calls all made it out of the tough situation. I am happy Pip is still alive and the She-Wolves are free again. I am also pleased that Joshua made it out alive. Bart's use of the phone to track them at least saved Joshua's life also. I hope they get out of Marinette and hunker down somewhere safe until Mike is turned and maybe given some defensive training. I am a bit disappointed that the holiday fun was totally trashed by Kane's pack.

The dream was beautiful whether reality or not. Nils telling Gunnar he needs to move on and honor Nils' life by accepting and returning the love of Mike was very sweet. Now that Gunnar is ready to go forward, I hope Thomas will be able to do the same. Thomas is a great friend, but he also needs his own Cub to love. Excellent chapter with a very hot scene to savor.

I am positive that Mike will follow his heart and the good advice of Joshua to be turned. As a werebear, he will be the best deterrent to being reclaimed by the pack. I am worried about Pip and the She-Wolves. Living at a distance in a city as big as Chicago provides little protections from a large pack of wolves out for revenge. Nick may be in love with Kane, but that doesn't really give him power. Maybe he should try to take over the pack himself or die trying. It would be better than where Nick is now. Nick is a dedicated bottom, so maybe he can run away to find a pack with a gay alpha who will protect Nick and give him what he wants so badly. To me Nick is a created bad boy who is only bad in order to protect himself from an evil, fundamentalist group. I could see fear as the main motivation for all the bullying he has done.

A great chapter that flowed effortlessly with all the excitement and shifts between the two teams. Lady Gaga was an excellent choice for the show. I was surprised that the security team didn't use silver bullets. Although those may not work in this universe. Maybe some hand grenades would be a better choice. I suspected that Pip would not be allowed to run, although I thought that was because he would be on duty making sure Mike didn't get away. Pip's help saved them valuable time in finding Mike and escaping. I was very happy that Gunnar accepted Pip's terms and rescued Pip also. It was great to see his reunion with Dixie. It definitely solve one minor problem. The She-Wolves sure know how to put the spin on Roger's wounds. I am sure it will give him the bad boy look that will attract the females as well as gay males he meets in the future.

I loved how the team got together on this. The security team is having fun as backup dancers. Since they are all very hunky guys, I wonder how the She-Wolves are reacting to them. Is Tim gay? I wonder how he is also reacting and hope he doesn't get distracted by all the hormones that are probably floating around him. He may be a plain blonde, but I doubt he is asexual. After all blondes do have more fun.

I also was sure that Jay was Joshua, and kind of sad that he wasn't bear kin. He was a loyal and hard working employee, and had a good life after he married his human lover. I do suspect he may add to the storyline later. Mike is smart and a survivor and will be strong enough for his rescue. What kind of bear he will be?

Gunnar and Thomas have a plan, but does it have enough time to be successful? Mike is going to be very weak by then, if not responsive or drugged. I am happy the She-Wolves will be there to provide a distraction, as well as Gunnar's security force. Thomas and Gunnar playing was much the same as Nils and Gunnars play from long ago. I think that these two are much more than sexual playmates and think they may end up together. Mike might not be the love partner of either man, but could they raise him together as their cub? looking forward to everyone getting together at Sturgeon Bay before the rescue. With the ladies there it could be a lot of fun.

It was a very a sentimental and emotional chapter as Gunnar relived his memories with Nils. I was glad that Gunnar has decided to live in the future. Joshua is a bit of a mystery. If he was Jay, then I could see him knowing a lot about Nils and Gunnar. I suppose that being gay, he could have taken is partner's last name in marriage. Jay could be a childhood nickname for Joshua, so they could be the same person. That might cause Gunnar a bit of a problem when they meed. This chapter was compelling and beautifully written.

The offer from Talon was arrogant and ineffective. He's not much of a salesman if he can't read his customers. He certainly misread Rafe and Joe. Rafe is a little more possessive of Dre than might be expected of best friends. The female combat trainer, Mister Hallsworth, is a bad assed teacher. Rafe's going to love this class as much as Dre will hate it. I think Mister Hellsworth would be a more descriptive and accurate name for her. I am really having a great time reading this story! The universe you have created is filled with unique and fascinating details.

I forgot to ask. If the machine was not meant as an attack, what was its purpose in trying to get inside the bus?

The family tree is back piloting the Ishkatar. Captain Neema and his crew are a riot, and add to the humor of the group as they bicker and fight. Keerby worked his magic on Ragal, Durapar, and Casper, but not before he got a little revenge on Kippy by embarrassing him unintentionally. The visit to the Eagles' Nest proved intriguing with the presence of a lot of squish from many humans. Ruedi was a great guide and staunchly defended them when the tech device tried to enter the bus. Since the device was not of their universe, I believe it must be from and alternate universe like our guys visited before. Keerby will be of great help if that is the case. Not a lot of clues yet, but the ones we have are very interesting. I guess I'll have to follow Robins advice to be patient, but fortunately for me I can speculate all I want! Another great chapter with Mr. Boone and his business associates.
