Axel has lead a very rough life. What happens with Lenny that breaks Axel's soul? This story of Axel's life is so compelling, but extremely sad.

I wouldn't have forgiven Samuel. Murder and theft are not redeeming acts in any religion. That Samuel felt he needed redemption for sharing love with Axel is just plain perversion and fundamentalist evil. Hopefully, Axel will be on the receiving end of redemption for killing so many, but forgiving Samuel.

Alex's success was with gold. What the hell happened that broke Alex's heart? Samuel's innocence must have somehow vanished.

I glad you were able to get back to a more normal routine. We've all been missing you. Luckily for you Chris is back to manage your schedule.

It looks like @kbois has not been to her pedicurist lately. Someone make an appointment for her immediately. It must be an emergency if she is so touchy about them.

Alex prefers the frontier and wilderness to city life. His jobs are fitting to his life. Now to find out who Samuel is and what he meant to Alex.

Alex's story was difficult to read and created emotional stress for him. Adam who does love him very much knows just how to treat him with the right medical therapy. I loved the playful swim and hot sex. Now, we get to see them on the cover of National Geographic. I don't think any of their friends at home will miss the chance of buying several copies and teasing them endlessly when the get home.

Alex and his big boot did kick ass in the council meeting. The assist from the other bears was great, and Adam's talents were recognized. I am glad that Chad set up the Digital Manager job for Adam before they met for dinner. Chad didn't approach the date correctly, but with honesty and respect between the two the evening was a success. I hope that Chad becomes a good ally for the werebear community. I really like the lycan wolf tailor! I think he may be crushing on our two bears.

Grand Papa is definitely a bitter old asshole. At least Alex and Adam are one their way, well equipped and paid for out of the Lycan Council funds. Safe trip!

Tyler is a great guyI and know Elijah all too well. His protectiveness gave Kage a wrong impression of Tyler, but with glares and honesty that changed. Kage does respect Tyler and is glad Tyler is there for Elijah. I know it is dangerous to dispute with kbios, but I believe that Elijah knows for the first time in his life exactly what he wants. Kage. Kage on the other hand is very confused. Kage is trying to convince himself that his feelings will end when his job ends looking for the computer and protecting Elijah. He forgets that protecting Elijah is not in the job description provided by The Boss. I don't think it will be long before the Sentinels make an appearance now the computer information is suspected to be connected to the lost pups. I love this chapter as we get to know all three guys better. Now I will join the rest of the crew in the corner.

We know very little about Beta Chad, but what we do know has been positive. I hope that his interest in Adam is only lustful and professional. We could be lucky for some of that hot interspecies sex @astone2292 mentioned. All for the betterment of interspecies unity of course. I was not expecting Adam to be a computer prodigy and organizational genius, but he really is amazing. I had to laugh at the first airplane ride that almost turned disastrous. Good thing lycans can heal so quickly. On to the meeting. I wonder what's on the agenda.

I'm a baby boomer having grown as computers were evolving. I think that Adam may do well, but might be a bit frustrated with computers at first. I will probably laugh at his frustration when he deletes his first file accidentally. Adam's intelligence and inquisitive nature will serve Alex and Adam well in their positions on the Lycan Council. I like the idea of Alex keeping the council members from getting to arrogant and bossy. I am sure he has the personality and traits to keep the council from their own stupidity from time to time. The continuing story is at a natural break, but I am anxious to find out Alex's life from this point out. Also, to learn more about Matti.

OMG! Garjah has barely left the house and Ases and Essell are in danger as strangers invade the house. With no time to get to the safe room they are now outside looking for a place to hide. How did that happen? How did the invaders get Garjah's transport? Where is Garjah? What kept Bouncer from noticing the invaders?

Alexi's story within a story makes fascinating reading. His reminisces of Igor was laced with the scent of first love. Adam is caught up in the story, but is very instinctive and uses his intelligence to bring the past to the present by role playing the part of Igor in bed with Alexi. I am sure it was Adam's strategy to insure that Alex didn't brood about the past he relieved for Adam's sake. I love the historical aspect of this story as well as the background we are provided in order to understand Alex's behaviors in the modern times.

Alex does have a very interesting tale of his past. I can understand his shame, but it was so true to the historical records of those times. European and Russian expansion to conquer native cultures around the globe were brutal and inhuman.

Axel got just what he wanted and needed in a Cub. Adam not only loves him, he wants very much to make Axel's life so much better. Adam's idea to find his Grand Papa, Matti is very sweet. Axel's bargain is very wise and intuitive. Getting caught up in history will make things easier for Adam. I wonder what kind of job Adam had before he became a monster.

Great start! I like how you have created a seamless flow from one story to the next even though the MCs have changed. I am sure that Adam will be a fun character to watch as he grows with Axel's help and love. Adam's sense of humor will help him deal with his Papa. It is great that he got his bear heritage from his big Kodiak Papa.

Savage Beasts is a well written sequel to Trophy Cub. It begins with Gunnar and his Cub Mike trying to establish a life together in a more normal fashion. Mike begins to wonder what will happen in the future as they become settled in their new home. Will they become bored and lose interest? This book is a resounding NO! to his question. In this unique shifter world of werebears and wolves @Grumpy Bear has created, there are many dangerous and fatal confrontations and battles. (Watch for chapter warnings.) The wonderful characters and their allies are written with empathy and understanding. The description of events places the reader right in the middle of the action. It is a compelling tale of love, heroism, hate and reconciliation. It is a story of hope and the reestablishment of heritage. There isn't a box that is left unchecked in the recommendations, but action packed and characters are the strongest traits of this story.

Charlie was very candid about teleporting to the alternate Earth. Not just cautious, but scared. The trip went smoothly and they got a quick orientation before the shit hit the fan. The battle seemed to be a toss up until Charlie entered the circle with his second presence. Rick was right behind him to supply the needed extra force to tear the boojums to pieces. I like the twists of the plot and great action of the battle. Charlie definitely displayed courage and Rick also showed his awareness of what Charlie was attempting as well as his own courage. It was a bit hard to accept that Rick was kidnapped, but Ragal and Casper came to the rescue. I was sure that we'd get to see Casper used his illusions to help Ragal, and wasn't disturbed by the 'murder' of the invader. I wonder what will happen at Soldiers Stadium. Also, if the boojums were torn to pieces and the photons shot away from them, are they totally destroyed, never to return? I am sure there are others to challenge Charlie, but if they can be destroyed, then boojums may fear this alternate Earth enough to permanently leave it alone.
