I am sure there will be a lot of happy care....er....werebears when the group gets back to Ezekiel's village. Great reward for those who risked their lives to fight Christopher's monsters. I fully understand Alex's dream. He was facing a huge change in his life. I had similar dreams after I retired. Those damned dreams went on for months. At least Alex is going to get a great reward, at least for the next 150 years until his Cub gets out all that horny out of his system. Great chapter!

I mistook it for a person that drinks a lot of beer. Thai bowlers here in Chiang Mai often spend the evening drinking huge amounts of beer at the few bowling alleys in the city. By the end of the evening you might see quite a few of the bowlers like shown in the picture! From what I found out online, bowling was a religious ritual in medieval Germany. The pins represented sinners and the bowler's faith was determined by how many pins he could knock down with a round stone. 🤔

The Calgary meeting of the Lycan Council was much better than expected by the bears. Hopefully this will be the start of unifying lycans of all North American species. I was touched by Ezekiel's reaction to the inclusions of bears into the new council. I hope for similar great results for the beings in Duluth.

Other than the suits (I have hated suits and ties since the first time I wore one.), the meeting went very well. I enjoyed how the bomb was dropped on the Alphas by Apollo and Susie. The night of relaxation was great. I loved this part: The waiter didn't seemed to be phased about their order. I suspect the place is popular and frequented by local wolves and bears. Great chapter. Not worried about Mike and Gunnar. I agree with @Clancy59.

The big fight is over, but it seems the political fight in the Lycan Council is about to begin. There were a lot of outstanding observations and questions in the comments for this chapter. Many of those questions I didn't think about are really very important to the end of this story, and the future of those in the following stories. I really appreciate GA giving us the ability to communicate and exchange ideas and observations like this. It make the reading much more enjoyable and insightful.

I am with @seakinklets! Christopher's actions speak louder than his quick turnabout of words. Archibald dead? Good riddance. My only hope is that Axel will be able to subdue the monsters with his commanding presence. Either that or use the whistles and sound system. Without Christopher there to order them to berserker mode the noise should work.

Interesting discussion about Christopher's fate when and if he is captured. I am on Axel's side on this. His solution is not only safer, but more humane. Christopher is a psychopath who only got worse under the loving care of Gary for over 90 years. I don't see him getting cured in a prison. Prison will be torture for him for a very long time. I think a quick death would be more humane, and prevent Christopher from ever harming anyone again. Daniel is a sweet man, and I hope he leaves home to find a better situation that being a Cub to his disgusting and controlling Papa. Axel is lonely and needs some loving. I think Daniel would be able to amply supply him with a lot of pent up love and sex. Christopher's talk to his monsters is not going to be enough considering the increased capability of the mansion's defenders to highly amplify the sounds of the whistles. Charging on to the next chapter to witness this epic battle!

Out West, it was the brown recluse spider. Here's one for identification purposes only. I want to make sure Drew know what to look for if he is ever bitten in the butt. They also inhabit outhouses and stacked wood.

A great chapter that was very exciting to read. I am overjoyed that you delivered the commitment to keep the boys safe. It was so ironic that the boys were able to save their own lives. The whistle was a very unexpected weapon. The boys were able to give the werebears what they need to protect themselves the next time. Knowing that Billy will be around again is hopeful, but I hope the "bittersweet" story keeps Billy, Sean and Gary alive and friends at least. Billy may be small in size now, but with his big heart and big ball courage, I think he may be bigger than the average werebear.

The ride to the top of this coaster was smooth and provided an increasingly better view of the problem. First the secret corporation, followed by powerful and large group of sqwish users. Then the alien tech, Boojum spying and the final reveal. I am so looking forward to the trip by down with a fireworks celebration. Nope! Just as twisted as ever! 😁 I know you don't do politics on GA, but after Charlie and Crew return, maybe you could persuade them to repel the Boojum invasion currently plaguing our Earth? Please
