    Chapter 9

Again James you have written a very sensitive and delicate chapter dealing with one of the great mysteries of life. Death is a mystery that causes humans to feel great sadness and seek comfort from the pain. That is why we have so many questions and hopes that cannot be answered or fulfilled. You wrote with emotionally power that caused me to feel the grief that the family felt at their lose. I am glad that Angelo sought out Gianni to talk to after the funeral. Angelo was able to do what Gianni could not when his parents died. With Gianni holding him, Angelo was able to cry and release some of his pain. Gianni's answer to Angelo's question was truthful and shows the strength of their growing bond. Sad, but also full of love.

    Chapter 6

My advice? Go for it! I have fallen in love with this story and the beautiful setting and people you have created.

    Chapter 8

Another almost day filled with good times for the boys. They edge closer and closer to each other without actually making contact. Just brushes and jostling. Gianni's letter to his parents was sweet and has the promise of finally making the move we all want to see happening. I wish them both the best.
  4. Good Morning Page! Hope your morning going well.
  5. Good morning Albert! How are you feeling this morning?

    Chapter 6

The description of the cathedral in Amalfi had me going to Google to take a look. The shopping trip was painless, but Gianni's reaction to the traffic was interesting. Like @drpaladin pointed out, Gianni is finding the life in the small town comfortable. Like Gianni, I find that it is strange to be charged to go to the beach. Where I lived before retirement, all beaches were public property and open to all. I am glad that the boys find smoking distasteful. Also, I think that Nonna is trying very hard not to make an issue of religion, even though it is very important to her. Gianni and Angelo are inching closer and their conversations more intimate. I continue to find these chapters very enjoyable to read.

    Chapter 5

Marina's birthday was very special. I have my own belief's, and try to recognise when someone has done something good. Therefore, I applaud Father Stefano's quick analysis and diffusing what could have been a very hurtful situation when Gianni said he didn't believe in God. Although hurt, Marina responded appropriately and Gianni was able to leave without guilt. Angelo and Gianni are becoming more comfortable and trusting with each other. This chapter was written with both sensitivity and delicacy. Another wonderful chapter.

    Chapter 4

This story has a great feel to it. Your words create conversations, actions and setting that are so realistic. I feel like I'm a quiet friend accompanying Gianni from one interesting spot to another. It is interesting to even leave the heat and sun just by going into one of the home. I do worry about Gianni and his grandparents' relationship. I can only hope that Nonna has mellowed and changed over the years. The wall incident was of a concern, but really didn't feel like it was a long term problem, just a momentary thought. I was happy that the boys swore to be there for each other.

    Chapter 3

Spending time with Angelo going around talking and getting to know each other was delightful. They seem to get along well. I like Angelo's open and playful manner. Grandmother's idea of getting Gianni to become a Catholic is a bit concerning. I hope it does not become a divisive issue between them. I like that Gianni is using a journal to write to his parents. It is a positive way to deal with their absence in his life. Great chapter.

    Chapter 2

I could feel like I was in the village with Gianni and again in the home of his grandparents. Your vivid and colourful descriptions so added to the mood of the story. Gianni's awkward discussions with his grandparents were very realistic considering their backgrounds. His dream is concerning, since it seems he still has not dealt with the deaths of his parents. Nonna's reactions to the mention of Gianni's parents was expected, and I feel both Gianni and his Nonna may need each other to discuss the past in order to heal. I am hooked!

    Chapter 1

Having read the summary and reviews, I was certain that I would like this story. Your beautifully written, but bittersweet beginning cemented that desire. Gianni's character is emerging slowly, but I already feel a closeness to him. Pietro makes a great tour guide.

    Chapter 83

Ases is an interesting character. His friendly manner combined with his youthful enthusiasm has great charm. He does have a lot to learn about Garjah's people, but the crew seem accepting and protective. Bouncer's approval of his is obvious and reassures me that Ases will fit. He is observant and has his interests and assignments to consider, so I am glad that Essell takes the precaution of not showing Ases some areas of the ship. Ases' ship sounds amazing! I am picturing a space ship Transformer. 😉
  14. Change of Heart is a beautiful cowboy romance set in modern day Texas. Jeffrey Adams is a successful Chicago attorney who guiltily returns home to visit his beloved aunt and uncle. He only plans to stay a short time, when a sweet young lady and her father catch his heart. The Adams family are loving, respectful, loyal and honest. They use some amazing resources and common sense to combat the bigotry and corruption in their town. The story is filled with fun, adventure and intrigue. The dialogue sparkles with wit and wisdom. I loved reading this wonderful story. I highly recommend reading this imaginative and warm tale.
  15. Hey Gary, Hope your day was great. When does it start to warm up in Canada?
  16. Good Morning Clo Are you having problems sleeping? It's 2 am there, correct?
  17. Hi Albert! Glad to see you up and about!
  18. Hi Page! Thanks for the heads up on Heartstopper.
  19. Hey Drew! Glad to hear mom's returned! That nuke was rather random. I though you and Albert were allies.
  20. Good Day Everyone! Sawasdee Khrup 🙏 Glad to see everything is back to normal. I was getting bored with all the peace and quiet here the past few days. Drew must have come out of his food funk when Mom returned.
  21. Hi Albert! Glad you checked in before my bedtime.
  22. Cyrus' plan definitely got the other two to agree quickly. It should be amazing considering it has three good Alphas to refine and polish it. I like that they decided to keep the rules simple. Smart move.
  23. Loren relents and admits they are boyfriends! Finally, Loren is making a commitment. It took some teasing and a little jealousy, but Jay has Loren coming around bit by bit. I can't believe that Loren withheld the tickets from his friends! I don't care the reason and hope they make his life miserable tomorrow! At least they will see the conference title game, and maybe the Super Bowl. I liked their after season plans. BTW your spat with Kbois was fun but like the coconut dispute was basically a standoff. Kbois was correct. Your pacing was great. I enjoyed the quick weekly updates, but it was clear that neither Jay and Loren would have the time or focus to advance their relationship until the season ends.

    Knight of Cups

George didn't have much to add, and that was a disappointment. Dan believing in ghosts was surprising. Then Dan surprised Terry by showing up with eclairs for a visit got me going. That validated Terry's Tarot reading for his own question, and Dan's Tarot reading gave him the courage to kiss Terry. Nice chapters like this are great to read. They balance the more troubling chapters. Well written.
  25. Hi Dugh!Hope all is well on your side of the planet! Say good morning to your mom for me. ✋
