Good start with Ben experiencing his first shift, then down to business for them both as they have their first sex as wolves. Ben is an explorer and shows it by wanting to run soon after the shift and sex. Priorities dictated the order of events. Late for the meeting, the group verifies that they all have the same markings as the original Sentinels. They also consult Rosalie to learn more about the possibility of the effect of the horrendous crimes on the Veil. A lot of talk and information shared, but I want some action. You know...

I am wondering if this ⬆️ is the result of this ⬇️ I hope not, but @kbois does know how to twist us up in knots. The Sentinels have started to work together, and I have great hope that they will be able to rescue the pups soon. It will be a great chapter when they all get together. I bet Silas will be very excited to show them the picture. Has the picture gone through a professional restoration yet? Maybe there are some hidden secrets in the picture that will be revealed when it is restored.

Ben's date with Zev was so romantic and flowed into their amazing mating. Now I await the emergence of both the new wolf, and the new psi. I think that Zev will be quite surprised at his new ability now matter what it is. I do suspect that it will not be the exact same as Ben's ability. Probably the suggested pattern/seer that has been hinted by other commenters? Great chapter written so well I could feel the playfulness and joy of Ben and Zev, even when making Mac and Cheese.

An answer to Rosalie's exclamation is startling. The guys are Sentinels. We already know the other two will soon be a couple. Ben's not stupid, just careful. I am know wondering if Rosalie knows Silas, because she has obviously seen the picture in Montana of the Sentinels on the mountain. Everything seems good and the community about to celebrate new members when the roof falls in on them. Milo's abduction is very upsetting as are the abductions out west. I hope the whole thing gets solved before harm comes to the young shifters. I was very concerned by one comment that the young shifters might be used to open the Veil. That could be disastrous for all. I do think that Reilly's father sounds a lot like a stupid, inept version of Maven and probably is behind the pupnappings.

Reilly's first run as a wolf was so sweet and beautifully written I could feel his joy as he and Seb ran and played together. I also immensely enjoy the humour you use to spice up this tale. One of my two favourite parts of this chapter are when Hunter and Kellan first spot each other and are introduced by Reilly. The other is when Hunter and Kellan relate their confusion of what to do as former straight men trying to make love together the first time. Like other commenters, I want to know why Rosalie exclaimed, "It's real." What's real??? I also got a lot of laughs from all the great comments by others.

Wow @drsawzall you really packed a lot into this chapter. I have to admit that I am relieved that neither Thad or Evan were sacrificed, but now they are on a mission that sounds dangerous. The earth space craft is approaching the planet and although with very good intentions will bring death to Mithras and destroy the wonderful society that has evolved on the planet. I was amazed that both Peter and James have been given bodies to help the boys to destroy the signal box. You do sent some intriguing twists our way in this chapter. I will have a very difficult time waiting to find out what happens next. Brilliant story! ❤️

After reading many of the comments, I wonder how twisted you really are. Could Ben end up with the twins as his shared mates??? Naa...My bet is still on Zev. Ben was a real hero in this chapter. He not only saved two lives, but had the courage to honestly reveal his special ability. I think the suggestion that Silas will be able to suggest a way for Ben to help rescue the pups is a good probability. I too want to know more about the picture. Looking forward to tomorrow's dinner when the boys meet. Bet it is something special.

Nice diversionary tactic to distract readers from a cliffhanger. Just throw in a possible new pairing and a friendly pack of wolves. Mix with a possible scouting mission of the bad guys living next door in Idaho, and of course we will forget the cliff you left us all hanging on. Ben is a very interesting young man, and I do wonder how he got his talents. The town is also interesting in the number of shifters concentrated there. I don't have to wait for postings, so I'll just bing away until my many questions are answered.

I was expecting a dramatic/traumatic mating, but this was one huge first drop, followed by a 360 twist, a hairpin turn by a stone wall cliffhanger. I can see how you have earned your evil reputation for cliffhangers. I swear I hear a "muhahaha" in the background as Seb screamed, "Donoovaan!" As to the speculation about a certain Lambda and Beta, I was wondering the same thing. They seem to at least have something in common before they even meet. It wouldn't be the first sexual preference to change in this story. Great chapter and looking forward to many more like this!

Hi Page! I meant to ask something about your last posting. Has Max decided to cook a meal yet or is he just looking for things he likes and wants you to cook? 😄

Seb did get a big surprise, in fact two. The first was his mate being male, and the second was his own sexual attraction to his mate. Kellan make a great protector and friend. I also love Rosalie. She is one feisty, tough lady. She steadies Seb as he hears the terrible tale of his mate's torture at the hands of Reilly's family. She also has a great sense of humour as she teases Seb how his father needed the patience of a saint in order to raise Seb. I hope that Seb can give Reilly the love and sense of safety Reilly needs in order to coax his wolf to once again emerge. In this universe, are wolves able to communicate verbally with others? I know the trip has really started and now wait for all the fun twists and turns in the road to come. I love the plot and am already engaged deeply in this story.

I love the fact that no two shifter universes are the same in GA stories. Each is unique with its own rules. I also have never encountered a Kappa and Lambda wolf in all the stories I have read. I wonder why it was only after the first shift that Reilly's father recognised Reilly was a Kappa wolf. The other big difference in this universe seems to be that a wolf cannot be forced to shift by either Reilly or the moon or some other circumstance. I appreciate the additional information that answers my questions from the prologue.I am not hooked on the story and intend to read it as fast as I can.

I am so sorry to hear about Minion. Having several dogs and cats as beloved companions in my life, I know this is a very tough time for you. I hope that the vet can work a miracle. Please keep us updated on Minion.

Great start! I was surprised that Reilly was a guy. I wonder if Seb will be as surprised also. The real suspense is not knowing who Kellan and Reilly are running from and why are they being chased. BTW I enjoyed your scraps with Mrsgnomie. They were as much fun to read as Jay and Loren butting heads. Also, is this where I get to meet @imogene_arant's crush, Caleb?
