Off to an early start, Clo.

Hi Page! I meant to ask something about your last posting. Has Max decided to cook a meal yet or is he just looking for things he likes and wants you to cook? 😄

Seb did get a big surprise, in fact two. The first was his mate being male, and the second was his own sexual attraction to his mate. Kellan make a great protector and friend. I also love Rosalie. She is one feisty, tough lady. She steadies Seb as he hears the terrible tale of his mate's torture at the hands of Reilly's family. She also has a great sense of humour as she teases Seb how his father needed the patience of a saint in order to raise Seb. I hope that Seb can give Reilly the love and sense of safety Reilly needs in order to coax his wolf to once again emerge. In this universe, are wolves able to communicate verbally with others? I know the trip has really started and now wait for all the fun twists and turns in the road to come. I love the plot and am already engaged deeply in this story.

I love the fact that no two shifter universes are the same in GA stories. Each is unique with its own rules. I also have never encountered a Kappa and Lambda wolf in all the stories I have read. I wonder why it was only after the first shift that Reilly's father recognised Reilly was a Kappa wolf. The other big difference in this universe seems to be that a wolf cannot be forced to shift by either Reilly or the moon or some other circumstance. I appreciate the additional information that answers my questions from the prologue.I am not hooked on the story and intend to read it as fast as I can.

I am so sorry to hear about Minion. Having several dogs and cats as beloved companions in my life, I know this is a very tough time for you. I hope that the vet can work a miracle. Please keep us updated on Minion.

Hi Clo Having a good day? Watch out for poor Drew. He's a bit sensitive today. I would rate it a 4 or 5 nuke day at least. 😋
-
Great start! I was surprised that Reilly was a guy. I wonder if Seb will be as surprised also. The real suspense is not knowing who Kellan and Reilly are running from and why are they being chased. BTW I enjoyed your scraps with Mrsgnomie. They were as much fun to read as Jay and Loren butting heads. Also, is this where I get to meet @imogene_arant's crush, Caleb?

Hi Gary! Hope your day went better. I know the weather is really screwed up, but hope you get some warmer weather soon.
-
Ahw come on Drew. We are only complimenting your mom's cooking. It did sound as if you were losing weight while she was gone considering your diet. I also suspect in your mom's absence there was no one to make you have just a little more, because you are too skinny. Right? 😄

Dani is a very different kind of hero who is quiet, observant and very curious boy reaching out to become a teenager. Ravello is a beautiful and safe town to grow up, but a sudden series of crimes catches Dani's attention and he sets out to find out what is happening. His efforts gain him new friends, but also puts him in danger. This story is filled with the beautiful and sensual details of the Amalfi coast and its wonderful inhabitants. You will be captivated by Dani, his friends old and new as they navigate both life and new dangers. Dani the Hero is a stand alone novel written with care and love by the very talented James Carnarvon. It is part of the Ravello series that shares many of the wonderful characters and setting. As a mystery and adventure it is a different genre than the other stories. James is a very skilled writer who maintains your interest throughout the story. This particular book stands alone, but you will most likely want to read the prior books in the series once you have finished this story.

I have to admit that this story stands apart from the rest of the series. Not better or worse, but definitely different in theme and relationships. Ravello is still the sparkling jewel, but now a bit more dangerous. The chapter was well written and was totally compelling to the end. I look forward to the day when you decide to continue the series. I am sure I will also read other stories you write and enjoy them as well. Thanks for all the work you put into your stories. Again, best wishes for your children's story.

Dani's idea is terrible! He wants to convince Ettore that Giaco is not a snitch, but the fact that Dani, an unknown boy to Ettore, is there to talk with him is proof that Giaco is telling someone. Emilia is brave, but she too needs to use logic. Personally, I think that Marco may be part of this, but not sure what it is. He may work for Ettore, possibly a double agent working for Toto or something completely else. As for writing a children's story, I think you would do extremely well. Before I retired, I taught 10 to 14 year old students. I read and used so many great books during that time. A great book can propels students to read even more. It also can be a wonderful influence on the development of their ideals. My best wishes in your new endevour.

Wow! The speculations in the comments are very intriguing and would be excellent plot twists. Now I have to worry about Giaco's mom and her shop. Toto and Enzo working together was a surprising idea, as well as Assunta being behind the disruption. This is why I always read and enjoy the comments. The build up in tension was expertly done, and I give thanks that Dani arrived in time (also that there was no cliffhanger to interrupt my reading).

I take that as a YES!

I was afraid that Dani's party would not be a happy one. I felt that the new assignment from Ettore would lead to Giaco getting in real trouble. I was glad that didn't happen. I am wondering about the two guys who stopped the attempt. Could it be some friends of Dani? It was a great birthday with fun and humorous jibs from all. Dani got some interesting presents, especially from Giaco. I thought Toto and Michele's comments about being replaced were ironic. They of course were talking about the older teens being replaced in Dani's life by his new friends. However, it also applies to Marco who feels like he has been replaced by Dani. There were not a lot of clues that indicate Marco as being Giaco's replacement, but there were some besides the clothes. Marco has followed them to Ettore's lair and probably knows more about what Giaco is doing that they may suspect.
-
Like other commenters, I a very worried for Marco and suspect that he is Giaco's replacement. He's got the skills and the need. What I don't understand is how the other three treat him. I don't excuse Dani, Emilia or Giaco for their actions. Marco was not included, but Emilia was included. They all know Marco's feelings and lack of resources. Giaco and Emilia have been friends for years. To me this is just cruel on their part. Dani and Giaco are getting in even deeper with this new "promotion" . I too think it may be a set up, but even if it isn't it still puts Giaco in the position of actively participating in a crime. It would ruin his life and probably destroy his mother. Toto and Michele may have a plan, but I hope it includes some of the older friends and family. These kids are too young to mess with the Neri family.

Enjoy the ride. I finished it in January after many weeks of reading. It's a long story, but I was totally engaged the entire time. Lost a few nights sleep when I couldn't stop reading it.

Are you back home, or still kicking around Thailand? Did you make it up north to Chiang Mai while you were here?
-
Hi Drew! How are things for you now the parents are back? Did they have a good trip? Are you gaining weight now mom's cooking for you again?😋

Hi All! Sawasdee Khrup 🙏

I am going to go to sleep. Didn't get a real restful sleep last night and will try to make up for that tonight. Have a great day all!

Terry has a very busy day off doing chores and gathering more information about the mystery of the Regal cinema. His conversation with his Aunt Cynthia was funny. With their frank discussions they seem more like friends than relatives. The date was an resounding success that provided insights into how much these two have in common and how they were different. It was no surprise that they ended up in the bedroom for the night.
-
I think they need to ice it down, so they won't break the bed.

Season's end and we all expected some hot sex, but I personally was not totally prepared for the explosion of raw sex. There were a few interludes for humour of course, but even these eluded to their sex life and were so perfect. The hot picture take for the teasers was very sensual and fun. I had to laugh at Loren's admission to Jay that Jay was right about the clothes. The best was the inclusion of messages made by your readers. It had me rolling on the floor laughing my guts out. It hurt. Brilliantly written chapter. I do like their planned vacation and expect the continuation of their summer plans for the bedroom, and other places.
