Hi Dugh! I hope you and Mum are doing well!
-
You are way ahead of me! I want to decorate the house with lights, but I am limited when it comes to any plant decorations other than poinsettia plants. Fake plastic plants used here for decorations are just gross!

Hi Page! One thing I miss here is going to the library. From early youth up to moving to Thailand, the library was almost a weekly appointment to meet with librarians who became friends. Funny you should mention the lost filling. I lost one a few weeks ago to eating crispy pork. As for the bourbon-pecan bars, they would make great Christmas gifts for all of us on CotT2. Hint, hint. I wish the best for Max's ballet troupe. I'm sure it will be a great performance.

Hi Albert! I'm constantly hungry between reading about food in Man's new story and your usual food posts. My freezer is stuffed after the last two weeks of being inspired by both of you. That Kalamata cheesecake looks so yummy! I'm going to ruin my keyboard if I don't stop drooling over it soon.

The perfect one for him. Good Morning Clo! Has it warmed up any? Since Christmas is soon, are you preparing for the season like Bucket is?
-
Goodnight Everyone, I'll catch up on your hijinks in the morning.

Ouch! I'm more like a "comma" nazi. Commas show where people pause in speaking, but rules that guide the written use of commas don't match how people speak naturally. I usually get rid of half the commas in the dialogue.

That's good news. The weather maps I see made things look much worse. I hope you are continuing to get healthier.

Now I understand why you were delayed at the market.

There was a very hot time in the Han's house last night. Connor doesn't know what's coming at him. Challenging Rybalt and Slicky was exactly the wrong thing to do. It will inspire these two to do something that will leave Connor sputtering senselessly instead of giving a speech. I'm sure the two of them will demonstrate that you don't have to have a boring life to excel in college.

@Mancunian can probably answer this better, but I will try. This is a contemporary story. Since you mentioned Charlie's starting wage, I am guessing you noticed it is well below the starting wage for an Automotive Technician. Charlie's starting wage is about £2.00 an hour lower than normal. It is because he isn't fully accredited yet and has several courses to finish. I'm sure that won't be for long as Charlie is very independent and driven to succeed and has the support of all his new friends.

You should have heard me cursing Dr Bower when he got hateful and slandered Michael and Harry. I also liked how the cheeky Jason decides to claim Harry as his 'Gramps'.

Hey Page! I see you lurking around. How are things in your house? The US weather reports I have seen show you and Gary getting a lot of snow.
-
Hi Bucket! Glad to hear you made it safely there. Did you find Chris for Froggy?
-
Hi Albert! Has the weather warmed a little? Hope you and Steve are keeping each other warm.

That's what I have learned the hard way. I started working on a chapter one day and reread it exactly as you described. I think it's almost there, then go to bed. I read it again in the morning thinking being fresh I could read it one more time only to end up reading it another 5 or 6 times. I also read it a day before Craig posts the chapter and end up changing something again. I've also developed an allergy to commas.

True. But I wouldn't want to be them when they face their Alphas. Sebastien especially!

Scott and Greg may be smart enough to run a business, but still inexperienced enough to make some mistakes. I like that James allows them to make and learn from mistakes. I was not surprised that Jake was the first of the friends who had just found out to ask to be turned. I wonder if getting the answer that it would have to wait, will get him to change his mind about attending West Point. With the way Greg supports his friends and develops their loyalty, I suspect he will get many more requests to be turned. I appreciate that Brian is being offered the same help from Greg that Chris has already accepted.

The part of the chapter where Stacy realized that Harry's son, Mickey, was one of his friends was very emotional to me. I am very happy that Stacy and Harry are becoming friends also.

Hi Everyone! I had a fun time reading the comments. I do wish we had a few more reactions to choose from for the Drewster.

Charlie got the job! I loved the prank he and Jason played on Stacy. I can understand what Charlie felt when he learned that Spenser is Stacy's brother, but Stacy set him right by letting him know Charlie earned the job on his own. His background shows he is trained, and the things he did during the interview show he takes initiative and is honest. I'm also happy that Harry is recovering well.

Hi @Doha, I finally made it. I hope that Caleb isn't in a similar situation. It may be too much to ask for, but I'm hoping the trap was targeted for one light shifter because Huntington doesn't know about Caleb's new abilities. I also hope that both Caleb and Asa can maintain communication in spite of the trap. Maybe they can figure out a way for Caleb to rescue Asa and get the hell out! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Another red herring??? There is also Pieter, I suppose. However, either or both could be shadow shifters, and willingly helping or blackmailed into helping the mangy lion. No one seems to have commented on what Corbin and the kids will do if Asa and Caleb don't make it back in time to return to the US, or how pissed Giles and Sebastian will be when they find out about Caleb and Asa's insubordination.
