This is a remarkable change of message and style from a great writer, kbois. It is an interesting and logical parable with a deep, thought-provoking lesson. The message, that there is no god, will trouble some. Others may understand and appreciate the lesson, that belief in god limits the free will of humans, and use it to throw off the mantle of pain and guilt instilled by religious beliefs since childhood. I agree with others. This should be read by all!

Wow! I made it to page 4 this time. I really felt the build-up of tension at the beginning of the story, and also the relief when it broke. It was a great moment when Caleb finally spoke and acted like the Alpha he has been all along. Asa revealing Caleb's poisoning was both a shock to those present as well as a balm for the hurt of those close to him like Zev. Caleb was both honest and courageous when he took full responsibility for his treasonous betrayal of the pack. It was what was needed to put the past behind and regain the trust and support of Sabastien and the pack. I appreciated the humor of Silas and Rosalie that helps relax things. The best for me is that Ashton and Austin will be cured. With all that Tyler has experienced and thought while with the pack, I'm sure he will want to be changed. Whatever Elijah chooses will be a surprise since all he has to gain, if it is possible for him to change, is another voice in his head to add to the whispers in his heart. Great chapter @kbois! Readers have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

Intriguing comment @kbois. The only thing Elijah would gain would be a wolf to deal with. He already has a mate and can run with the pack. Having a wolf might be problematic for Elijah. Looking forward to seeing his decision.

Thank you. Me too! I really want to know why Seth and his dad did not run into each other. I know that there are possible reasons for why they didn't, but want the real reasons. I don't think it is coincidental they haven't had a chance to meet.

Funny you should say that. I loved that movie too. Not sure about the explanation for where the mass goes or how it is added, but it too felt familiar. I thought the changes were similar to the animagus transformations in HP stories. Rita was a beetle and when some fan/fic authors break the canon to include magical beasts, the animagi get huge.

I agree @Bill W. This is a great addition to the world @drsawzall created in La Tombola. This story should be finished by adding a sequel in this world as these young, daring men continue this adventure.

I really hope DocS continues this with a full book continuing this story, @Geron Kees. These characters caught my heart with their thoughts and actions. I want to know what happens next to these innocent young men in this adventure.
