A wonderful tale excellently developed. It's a light and fluffy romance filled with everything you could want. The humor is often subtle, so read carefully. The details created a wonderful, textured setting and mood. This is kbois at her best with a definitely must read tale!

The tribute to your friend was special with details that painted a picture of a very lovely person. I love the story and all the subtle humor you added like the HP reference to Umbridge followed by the balloon deflating (accidental magic?). The story is just as you described to me, light and fluffy. The plot, character and rich details were skillfully done. It is unusual to see such a well developed story in a short story format. Excellent entry!

That's at least one mother I wouldn't mind as a villain. She was corrupt from the start and never part of Caleb's pack. May she rot in Hell. I don't think @kbois will resurrect Vann's mom. She didn't resurrect Kage and has been grouching and whining about that.

I did some checking and found nothing that suggest traitors in the pack. However, it is open enough for that to happen, Oh Twisted Lady. Asa is like a tiger shifter in the way he masterfully pounces on Caleb's insecurity. He's definitely strong enough to take Caleb on when Caleb is healed. When Asa says there is danger in the process, I believe he is worried for Caleb. Asa said to ignore the mating issue and focus on the healing. However, the mating bond is already affecting Caleb. Caleb is listening to Asa, feels safer, has rested, and his wolf is much more at ease. I know that Asa is mostly responsible, but think their mating bond is making it easier for Caleb to accept what Asa is saying. Caleb anxiety level is reduced. This is a much milder reaction than when he had to force himself to Sunday dinners at the ranch. Looking for the next dump of information. I honestly expected another mike drop at the end of the chapter.
