Like Chris and Weinerdog I wasn't sure what reaction to post. First, I was shocked, then angry, sad and then felt the love. I was expecting "Chad" to be Gav. At least what happened ended with Gav and River together. Well written and I am still amazed at how the diary format flows so well.

That's OK for me. I never complain when someone publishes a story I am enjoying early. James is a great guy who really cares for the kids. Knowing the way Dakota, Jonas and Robin have bonded, he made their wishes come true. It was sad that Collin left before Dakota could talk with him again. Dakota will be surprised when he next sees Collin. Dakota will be expecting a young boy, and find a much changed Collin who will have seemingly aged in a few short weeks. What problem did Robin find when he opened the horse trailer?

I hope they will get plenty of practice. It may take an entire lifetime or more before it is perfected. I am sure you are right about taking time for the new dynamics, but hopefully it will be fun, exciting and fulfilling for both. -
Yep! I love love her for that. Those Vestal gossips must have phoned in the information as soon as they could. Who do they work for? At least Brandon and Chase are together at last. Jon and Erik are sure going to get an earful from Helen. Back at Australia that engineer is not as smart as he thinks he is. Dimitri has all but confirmed that not only will the lab assistants be silenced permanantly, the engineer won't last longer than it takes to finish his task.

I am glad they have reached the Navajo Reservation and were welcomed. Navajo hospitality was definitely shown when they arrived. Now that Mac has been admitted into the tribe, it will be interesting to see how he becomes a skinwalker. I have to admit that the discussion of the road confused me. There is no Route 666 anywhere in the US that I could find. The old Route 66 goes thru there in is historic. Interstate 40 follows the old route, but bypasses many interesting places. Route 66 has been the setting for movies and TV series since after WW2.

Yes, Kyan had a messy bedroom that was disgusting. He did fix the situation when he realized his problem. He also fixed his kids' beds. I hope he teaches them how to do it themselves, as well as set a schedule for once a week for the tasks to be done. That said, a flaw like this doesn't disqualify Kyan as a lover for either Max or Perry. If either of them thinks they need a perfect mate to love, I would see that as disqualifying them. Perfection is a goal, not a requirement. I would hate to have a lover that insists on perfection. -
Food and fun are a great way to spend the weekend. Aod and I did have a fun weekend also. Looping sounds a lot like Orange. Orange loves to sneak out too. It's a good thing she's too afraid than go more than 3-4 meters from the door.

I like the tempo of the chapter. It is a sad thing for a father to watch his son disintegrate before his eye. Worse if the father feels responsible. I'm glad that Helen is willing to extend a hand in friendship to him.

Don't know that The Scar and Dimitri are planning, but like C James' evil villains, they are intelligent, skilled and soulless. It will be interesting when the two stories merge. Lump is his-to-ry and good riddance. Of course, he will stick around to stir up trouble, but Helen will be able to handle it with the support of Instinct. Gabe will be out of the picture. I wonder who helped Helen and interceded to convince the brother's homophobic father to release the contract.

Strange that two straight guys are kissing in Rome to be sneaky. I'm wondering how this will tie in with Instinct. Had fun reading about all the things that happened during the shopping trip that most people can only dream about. Loved Brandon's reaction to finding out the magazine interview is with Rolling Stone. Just couldn't resist adding this link.

I love the way the casual dialogue reveals a lot of background information about Chase and Brandon. The small parts about The Scar and his activities are disturbing and creepy.

Brandon's a bit naive, but Helen and the three brothers are not going to let him suffer because of it. I wonder how much was skimmed and by who. It almost feels like the guy's father set it up. I like the way Helen is like a bulldog protecting her pups. Great chapter.

A very happy chapter filled with laughs. Brandon's gaydar failure had me rolling on the floor. Eric's question and answer session in the hotel suite was cute with the confession by Brandon that he bought the Drummer magazine because Chase was on the cover.

Way to get me drooling! I love quiche Lorraine, but the chocolate chip cookies with salted caramel filling had me licking the screen!
