Great chapter MrsG! I love the description of Perry's craftsman home. Is it an old craftsman or a newer craftsman style? It does sound like a great family place. It should be filled with kids. Kyan has listened to Max's advice and is trying to catch up on Perry's life. However, it also sounds like he wants to be a matchmaker with Perry and Max as his victims. I do think that Perry has shown that he would be very much more comfortable with kids than he was in the past. As Kyan gets to know Perry better as a friend, maybe Kyan will also start to change. Don't know what you plan MrsG, but I'm sure enjoying the story.

Crafts are great when the weather gets bad. Glad you have a head start on the holidays. I wait until the last minute every year. It's traditional for me. 😀

Believe it or not, I got notification the kbois had posted a comment on the story before MrsG posted the story.

OK, Hudson is very protective of Otis. I get that. Hudson is very affectionate towards Otis. Yeah. Hudson thinks Otis is good looking. Like many others. Hudson is kissing Otis, a lot, and in many different places. That is not something you do with a good neighbor and friend. Hudson is placing limits on Otis. That is a sign of jealousy. I conclude that Hudson is now very much in love with Otis. I do think that the situation may complicate Hudson's investigation, considering the interest Jackie, Utah and Watkins have in Otis. BTW Angel is a mess. I hope to never meet someone like him!

OK Ronyx! You've finally done it. Now my mind is in chaos. Craig looked 'hurt'? Why would he be hurt? He's a user. He can only be hurt if he has some deep feelings for Seth. Stacy is still being a butt, but definitely gets distracted by what Seth said. That's not like her. Roni goes from angry to sympathetic in mere seconds. Blake has gone for happy to upset. My emotions are all over the place now! Grrr!!! Craig is in love with Seth and has broken up with Stacy is amazing and confusing. Blake has hidden out again because he thinks Seth has betrayed him and is in love with Craig. They are all a bunch of hormone driven drama queens. What's next? This is beginning to sound like a Shakespearian play about half way between a comedy and tragedy. Great writing!

In my first comment I said it took great courage to write this story. It's true and I meant it. You are one courageous woman kbois! I respect your for all you have done as well as your courage to talk about it.

The painting created by both Carl and Armand has been imbued with a touch of magic. I'm not sure if I got it right, but it seems to be implied that the boy Micheal is the model for the angel. I wonder if this means that Michael and Carl will somehow connect again in the future. I did like that Armand was able to connect once more with the friends he made in Paris years back. They all enjoyed the time together and it brought back some very nice memories. I like the way I felt after reading this chapter. It was happy and hopeful in spite of knowing why the painting is needed. I do hope that Arnaud will be able to see it soon. I think he may need a good, comfortable chair in which to sit as he looks upon the painting and contemplates it.

You made a very excellent point about Thorvil. I also suspect that his plan was to let Jamie and his group do the dirty work. Not that he is lazy, but he is a seer and might have seen that this job would be successfully done without loss of life to their team. I don't think this is our Earth, the planet positions and number don't match. This system is missing two planets and one of them would either be Venus or Mercury.

Jamie said before that they should attack the machines and I think that should be their first job, especially as the ship is moving to the ring and the ring can be used. According to Flitch, they should be able to destroy the machines. I think the machines are concentrating the magickons rather than generating them. According to Flitch they are very basic in form. Collecting and storing magickons seems more basic to me than generation of magickons. I don't think Lodda, the AI or even Jamie know how to make magickons. As @drpaladin said, The AI is the main culprit now and should be targeted for destruction. It is obviously lying and manipulating Lodda. If Lodda's plan to leave works out initially, it would fail in the end. I think the AI would know this. I love how this whole thing leaves so much room for a multiple different turns in the last chapter. See you all tomorrow!

Hi Page, I'm up and about, but Aod is still sleeping. I finally have my computer going well. The only project left for it is to re-establish my bookmarks. Especially my recipe sites. Aod and I had his sister and her girlfriend over for dinner last night. Aod made Nam Ngeow which was excellent. It's a soup made from tomatoes, pork and vegetables served over rice noodles. This chapter was very far from boring! Epic battles are not the only source of excitement. A trip thru the middle of a star that ends in another dimension was truly an exciting trip for me. I'm sure others will agree!

A short but elegant story from a prompt. It is a tale of love and loss, but has a very sweet ending. A great read when life gives you a break of only a few minutes. Read at you leisure or just for a quick break, it will leave you happy.

Your prompt stories are always so very good. This was a very emotional story, but fortunately that last emotions were joy and relief.

Whatever that beast was, it wasn't attacking Beckett. The ore wisp should show Valrinda some appreciation for defending them. I hope the one wisp that was almost caught is OK.

See Geron! It is possible to crossover stories in this cross over multiverse. Now I'm going to hide in a Korner of a different story.🤪

I did use universe in terms of their universe, but maybe I should have said all the multiverses connected by the nether instead. I wonder if in their ghost forms the team could explore Flitch's universe.

One other thought. Are all the sun's in the universe connected or just some? If it were all, wouldn't that mean the potential for magic was there for every planet and life forms on them in the universe?

An interesting chapter. It now seems as if our gang can explore the multiverse at will at least in their ghost form. If they find a suitable planet I wonder if they could translocate there. Porvus may be working on translocating to a person, but he obviously hasn't come up with the way to do it. I have a different translocation question. Did their trip to the nether sun add to their power? I'm still wanting them to talk with one or both AIs. Great chapter Geron.
