muddleheaded - Word of the Day - Wed Jul 19, 2023

My Mom used the terms muddleheaded, drunk and three sheets to the wind to describe the level of inebriation of a person. Then there Patsy and Edina who are off the charts. Can anyone remember what muddleheaded thing they did to end up drinking champagne on a garbage scow? -
I like the way you wrote describing the arrival of big brother Tom. He is so much like his parents in the love he has for Troy. He seems to also be 'adopting' Adam. Thanksgiving with the family and Carlos went well. I hope that Carlos will be a frequent visitor in the future. Personally, I think Adam tends to keep too much in private and should at least share with Troy that he is having recurring pains. It's rare, but a blunt force punch like Jason gave Adam can create a hernia or rupture an appendix. Since the pain is on the lower right side, it could be the appendix.

I think this has been done more often than the talk Troy's mother had with them, but still kind of rare. Tom's definitely a great older brother!

All went well for the party. Jason is as much an asshole as I feared. It certainly makes Kyle's story that much more believable. I'm hoping that at least Kyle's mother will keep supporting him. I do wonder how this will influence Troy and Adam's thoughts on Kyle's punishment.

It looks like the Ore Wisps were meant for find Beckett. Beckett may be right that they are to help him, but since they like shinny things and steal them they may be the ones who stole the star. Maybe their mission is to distract Beckett. I would be cautious and heed Valrinda's warning if I were Beckett. At least he survive the ride thank's to his guide.

Troy's birthday was a good day with parents, grandma and Adam. That the boys both used the occasion to further explore sex was an added bonus for him. In the letter to his ma, Adam was much more polite than I would have been.

Sounds like a BL hit to me. Hi Page! I'm doing fine. Just trying to figure out how things work on the new computer. It has an updated spell checker which means that it suks even more! It tried to autocorrect twice a I typed this. Still waiting for some of the extras I ordered online. Also, it came with a Safari, not a Chrome browser so I am trying that out. I like that Safari is not as plugged in to everything as Chrome. Chrome wants to control everything. However, I am familiar with it.

Are you trying to put @chris191070 out of a job? You should get back exchanging snarky remarks with @kbois. I just got back from the store after buying popcorn enough for the rest of the week. I'm just waiting for you two to start, before I pop the first batch.

I too sense that Seeri is truthful and will be a great asset to the group. Since she has been many places, I'm sure that Jamie will be able to get the information he needs to get very close to where Porvus, Urvan and Lodda are located. Jamie still needs to work on the task Kundun suggested. He's had many distractions, but needs this knowledge before the final confrontation. I find it interesting that each time Jamie translocates, he seems to have more and more people along with him. Is it just the natural function of the power glove, or an increase in the power of Jamie's knack. While in the nether, maybe Jamie can have the nether machine make a 'glove' for all of them. Of course, Snave would more likely be wearing a band of power.

I agree! A trip to the nether would be good, since they are not proceeding forward for the rest of the day. I also think Snave would sense whether Seeri is lying or telling the truth.

I have often wondered about this. Thorvil's lack of communication with Jamie and not returning to his shop led me to suspect something like this. What was news was Thorvil's leadership in a group dedicated to handle matters if rouge mages started to make trouble.

I understand Adam's reasoning for keeping the belt, but I would send it back in burning flames to his father in hell. Adam's mother is just as bad as her husband.

Kyle also had a rough life, and it sounds like his father abandoned him. Adam does care about what has happened to Kyle. What, if anything, will Adam do about it. Will he try to help Kyle? The funeral went without a scene from Adam's mother. It is interesting that Adam's uncle was estranged from Adam's father. Will we find out why?

I don't look forward to Adam's father's funeral. I think no matter what she said, Adam's mother will make a scene. I am glad that Mrs. C did convince him to go, however. Kyle's father was very embarrassed, but also acted with respect for the boys. That should be a very revealing encounter.

The GSA is off to a great start. I was surprised that there were 60 forms filled out. One thing did not surprise me was Adam's mother. I still don't understand parents, especially a mother that hates their own child.

Very intense chapter. Glad everyone who I cared for survived. Don't care much about what happens to Mike and Kyle. I'm not sure I believe that Adam's dad tried to save him, but if it make Adam feel better that's OK. Mom and Dad C are handling the boys well, and that's what counts in my book.

Mac and Devin are almost ready go leave. I believe that Mac and Devin's attempt to help make learn about both the Navaho history and the details of animals is very wise. I think Devin's mother is a bit jealous that Mac has the choice to be come a skin walker. It probably won't be a major thing for her, but it does make me feel empathy for her and the wives of Grandpa and Great Grandfather.

Yes, you did get me very, very worried. I was very surprised that Adam's dad was helping Mike and Kyle. It is obvious that they are both having sex, and he should be feeling hate for them too. One thing I did get right, was that Mike and Kyle were hiding at the same abandoned house used before by Adam and Troy. I hope the gun shots only hit Adam's father and Mike.
