CHIP!! Really? Who the hell does that. In front of his friends no less, with no regards for Doc's feelings. Talk about awkward. To quote the kids, "I can't even!" It was even more hurtful to realize that Doc kind of knew this was happening. The good thing is he will have the gang to support him. I can't imagine the fallout this rift will cause. If Ian were smart he would find a new gym.

You did an amazing and wonderful job of breaking Aaron down and then walking him through his doubts. Very emotive. Glad he decided to trust himself and Chet, and to go to him cause look where it led. Declarations of love, when the heart knows it knows. Well done, thank you. -
I ran out of likes, but I liked this chapter. Like everyone else mentioned, it captured the turbulence and the panic attack wonderfully. Also, I'm glad that Kyle got that well deserved right hook out of the way. Now they can start over on even footing, well, so to speak..

I continue to enjoy this story. CJ and Landon's tour is kind of like a reaquaintance with DC. I was sorry to see Landon leave, and I was hoping the dads would be there the morning after for some good natured ribbing. Lol. As mature as CJ is though, I'm a bit scared for him if he does take that internship; feeding him to the sharks as it were. Look forward to the next. As a side note the only thing that gets me about CJ is that pesky thing he has for the Miami Heat!!!??

Ty's dad and Doug, at different levels, frustrate me to no end. Ty is going to have the last laugh at that. This chapter though, was fraught with possibilty. Deon and his dad, Neil and his parents. With Neil, I get his hesitation to trust the sudden change in tide. It will take him a bit. I can only hope that Deon will be more open with his dad, who is certainly trying. Liam.. He's going to have to sweat it out a while, but I'm starting to feel for him.

You write your characters with such heart, that it's hard not to fall all in with their romance. I had to read it a second time to be sure I hadn't missed something important. These two hearts will seemingly heal each other if they let their guards down. They're hot, and hot each other and the chemistry is there. Thanks for a great chapter. -
CJ is making his own friends, and settling in comfortably into life with his Dads. That's so great to see. I cant wait to read what they will be up to. As for Chip, I hope the redhead is worth it and his explanation for whatever it is he is up to had better be impressive. I can't imagine the gang will be too forgiving if it's not. Ready for more.

This is good, and I'm going to echo what everyone else is saying. The connection between Kyle and the Aliens is very intriguing. I would freak out too if I were him, but I think curiosity would win out and maybe I'd keep going back. I wait anxiously for what comes next.

Kendall and Michael are quite the pair aren't they. Stupidly in love, funny, goofy, and yes oh so sappy. Good stuff. It's nice to see the interaction with the parents. That kind of no holds barred acceptance and love is amazing. These guys seem to have it good. Chet on the other hand, I felt his pain. He is such a sweet guy can he get his own story? -
That was fun! What the hell did that fortune say that made him run out in front of a bus after it is what I want to know.

I was holding my breath there at the end, so anxious was I for Nathan. I'm glad that he is not the same guy we were introduced to. I'm glad that he is brave enough to seek his friends out in the hopes of rebuilding those friendships and healing those hurts. Just by him showing up, I'm sure his friends will give him that chance. With Taylor holding his hand and offering his support and encouragement, Nathan has already won half the battle. As always- Thank you Sasha.

Ahh... This chapter, these men, their parents... I like that even though these two have been friends forever, and you can tell by their teasing humour, navigating the relationship part is still endearingly hesitant. -
Great chapter. James is a remarkable boy who is going to be a man his mom is proud of. Heck I'm proud of him. I can't wait to find out how things will go between him and Casey, once they get over this rough patch. Thank you.

Well, shoot. Nathan is broken. He knows it, he admitted it, he talked about it and now he is willing to do something about it. I'm glad that he realizes that his fathers attitude was only part of the problem, and he as an adult made horrible choices too. When my clients make a breakthrough like that and separate themselves from their past to honestly own their choices, I know there is hope for healing and recovery. Nathan is headed that way and, um, I am happy for him. He deserves happy. I just typed that. I hope he gets what he needs from Clem so he can move on. Good chapter..

Finally, a breakthrough! I like the way you handled his realization and subsequent admission to Taylor. It's nice that Taylor will be there for him as Nate attempts to fix what's broken. Now to emancipate himself from the threads of intolerance and self loathing that tether him to his father.. Great chapter.

This is so good. Very relatable. I like how easily those guys connected and how smooth the connection is. They already feel like they've known each other for years rather than a few months. As with your other stories, the dynamic of your core characters are always solid. Look forward to the rest.. -
There are mothers, and then there are women who have children. The person I feel badly for is the step brother left behind. Sooner or later he will see Colonel Dickhead and his wife for what they really are. When the dust has settled, it will be interesting to see how CJ deals with the reality of his situation. Even though I have no doubt that his dads will be super supportive and loving, and there is a lot that CJ can learn from them, there may still be the psychological element to deal with. I love the fun, easy dynamics of this family. Looking forward to the next installment.

Ok, so poisoned trees don't always yield rotten fruit. I think. I wonder how easy it was for Nathan to come out to his dad, given his "tough man" attitude. Somewhere deep deep down, it seems that Nate might know he went wrong but he still has to learn to give some. There's plenty of deconditioning that needs to happen. With Taylor around, maybe we get to know the real man that could be.
