Yay! I've started, and I really enjoyed this first chapter. I'm curious about what happened with the parent that would cause such a harsh reaction. I like Jacob, and I'm sure as I read on he will play a big part in helping Russell come out of his shell. On to the next..

Now that Brady says, every time he had that feeling it came true, I am even more worried for Silas and the rest. It explains why he is so anxious to get moving, and having to wait is eating him up. Let's hope that Stacey is right and that the Navigator finds a way..

Well, we knew we had to deal with the accident, but this was so, so sad. I'm already thinking about what Adriano will have to deal with when he comes around. The ripple effect will probably be just as tough to get through. Flynn I feel just as badly for too, as I'm sure he will bear some burden as a result. You did a good job building up to the intensity of the situation, and then capturing the feel and emotions of those involved. For the first time I can wait a week..

This seems like it's going to be a tough read. You did say dark... I do though, want to know what happened to that happy go lucky, cat video kid we meet here, that would bring about the incident in the prologue.

This was such a heartwarming chapter. These guys really are four of a kind aren't they. Their relationship is so great, the kind of friends that you actually want to have. Now that the house is theirs, that's one more thing in place. I'm sure the parents will be just as thrilled with their choice of home! Can't wait for those reactions! -
I hate that they lost again.. 4 in the last 5. I'm rooting for a win in the next one! Im really happy for Dave and Deon, but I can't wait for the draft to see if Ty and Jim,in spite of his age, gets picked up. I mean all that interest has to generate a pick somewhere right! My favorite parts this week involved Clarissa. Her conversations, first in the car with Liam, and then at dinner with Deon. She clearly guards her emotions well, then we get to see her a bit vulnerable and mature all at once. Loved this chapter.

Simms didn't need much provocation to start in on Silas did he? And, narcissist that he is, he made a recording of Daniel which will be the evidence that nails him I'm glad Silas thought to have back up but how to get out of this pickle. Maybe Adam is a quick shot, or someone else is where Simms can't see so they have surprise on their side?

I don't quite like the idea of Silas doing this, but I didn't buy he was going to call Jenny's detective either. Dr. P is so right. Doing it his way, is who he is and relying on others to solve a matter, will take time. Silas has come far, and it shows, but I understand his need to confront Simms his way. Now I can only hope that he is safe, and makes it back to all the people he cares about, relatively unscathed. That letter.... I like that he's not that person, but sometimes when reading a chapter, I'm amazed at how good hearted and selfless Silas is. You would typically expect that he would be bitter and jaded, because of his experience. Good chapter, though I expect now everything will go upside down.

CJ hasn't really had time to process what happened with him, before they took off to be with Tommy, but there he is thinking clearly and taking charge of the small things, that help in a big way. Tommy's parents immediately rub me the wrong way. I suppose it's a typical response, and an excuse to insert their imagined rights as parents. They are however about to meet CJ, and if that's not enough to properly school them, the rest of the'eight' aren't far behind. I liked meeting Prescott, I look forward to getting to know him better. Good chapter, the supportive fellow cops, take out at the hospital, CJ and his dad's teasing, all nice touches.

Poetry, songs and stories- it's the writing trifecta! The haiku is lovely, and you are right it does give an otherwise normal occurrence deeper appreciation. no likes, but I'll come back to that.... -
It seems this is a common dog/cat problem. I was laying on my couch reading, my Rottie decided to upchuck. It was vile so naturally I responded in kind. Didn't make it to the bathroom, but I had nothing to worry about. By the time I made it back there was nothing... Hers or mine, to clean up. If if I ever see her eating her 'warm and freshies' though, I don't know what I'll do.. That may be a deal breaker.

The eliminated men's team get $8 million! Meanwhile, a whopping 22 million viewers tuned in to watch, not to mention the millions on social media. I would hardly call that disinterest, but it also doesn't translate to the stadiums. It was an awesome win though!

That was an amazingly detailed walk through. Any chance I can put in an offer?! Their house sounds great. Even though they're worried about budget, and being really responsible, but sometimes you do spend a little more when you weigh cost against things that will really matter in the long run. If they're in a nice area with good schools, it would make sense to jump on this house rather than pay close to the same thing for a lesser house that they didn't love as much. Best part is that they're already thinking like parents. Definitely will be doting dads. Love it. -

I hoped, and hoped and hoped that Barry and his boys would reconnect. Never imagined it would be this way. So happy for them as it's been an understandably rough ride. I really enjoyed this story and how it was told. Now I will plead and hope that this is not the actual end. Will look forward to whatever else you do.

I'm happy that Liam had a great party. Ollie's teasing of him and Neil was too funny though. Clarissa is being sensible in her wait and see approach to Deon, but I hope they are able to give it a go. Doug, is a challenging friend to have... But I see glimpses of maybe something more. This was a really nice feel good chapter.

Brady waiting for his phone call brings back memories. Those feelings are probably more exaggerated because they are separated by distance.. Cute though. That connection he shares with Silas must run deep. Glad he is trusting is intuition and is headed to Colorado. Hopefully he gets there safely and in time.

I'm soo late, but.... You know my favorite thing about this chapter? Everything that happened before to make that totally hot, absolutely steamy, drool worthy(hey Tim), passionate, love scene happen. ....where was I? Oh... When you have a partner who understands every facet of your being, even so that when you mess up he gets why, and forgives you because he knows if the tables were turned, you would do the same for him. Michael needs to learn to give himself a break sometimes. His reaction perfectly normal and understandable. Kendall gets that. I keep forgetting that they've only been together a short time, and Michael probably still can't wrap his head around how much he is loved.. Great chapter.

New chapter, yay, and Corbin the shows his masterful skills yet again. One of these days he's not going to know what hit him... Can't wait for Lee's reaction. I don't want to feel badly for Pete. I really don't. Yet, I felt a twinge of something for his predicament. Corbin needs to clue Nick in and be honest, no matter how long this trial run is for. I still like the idea of them.
