Good for Kendall, being firm with Candy and getting what he and Michael needed from her. And he did it all with such class The voice that you give to Kendall and Michael, is one that we should pay very good attention to. In spite of all the difficulties and disappointments leveled at them, they choose to be stay kind, stay decent and generous, and for that their worth will be immeasurable. Taking Candy to the hospital, and fixing the car is all part of taking care of the baby, but I hope Candy always remembers that Kendall was good to her when, he especially, didn't have to. Great chapter, Gary! -
Darrin... Grrr. Wyatt should still probably get a restraining order although with guys like Darin that's seldom a deterrent. I'm still suspicious of Carol. I think her motives will be hidden underneath such charm, as she tries to undermine her son's relationship. Let the planning begin....

Ty's dad? What the hell! I hope you serve him a proper justice! Well, maybe Ty getting drafted will be justice enough. I love Patrick's determination here. This chapter shows how much Ty has grown and how much of a unit the Leopards really are. Even the youngsters. Ty's still a brat though, (Julie), but he deserves to have his dreams come true, and have the best birthday ever! Cleared to play in the finals, a win, and a place in the draft? That would be awesome.

...CJ! for all the reasons your dad stated, what were you thinking!! 15 yr old hormones! The talk with the dads was perfectly responsible and in keeping with how they operate as a family. As much as we hate thinking of our kids and sex, to overreact and lose that communication would be even worse. What CJ has going for him is that he is mature enough to understand the impact of what his dads said. He will make other mistakes, but probably, hopefully, not that one. I'm glad that Tom's ex is reaching out. Having his kids in his life would be good for all of them. Bet it wasn't the result his parents anticipated. -

This was a great chapter Tim. Much like everyone, I was struck by Russ' growth here. It has been happening slowly, but we finally see the effect of Jacob's patient and loving influence. I don't doubt that Russ had it in him all along. With his new self realization, I can't wait to see Russ fully come into his own. I also can't wait to see how much appreciation he shows Jacob!! Isa showed Henry up as an a**. I hope, if he wants to still have his family, he finds a away to turn this around. Looks like good things may happen for Kristen too? -
The way Bryan described his mom, I was expecting her to be a little less receptive to their wedding news. Because Wyatt was so nervous, I'm glad it went well, but I can't help wondering if her good graces will continue as they plan the wedding. That was a petty picture you painted of the plantation.

For right now, Candy thinks she holds all the cards. Can't wait for when she folds...(see my clever attempt) Michael and Kendall have more to lose if they don't play this right. They have to keep their anger in check and pretend to play nice. I get why M is mad at himself for blowing up at her. Plus she's looking to bleed them. She's probably not even thought that she can't lose, with all her grandiose delusions. I hope this lawyer has some answers for our guys. The dinner with Lanny and Janine was very nice. I am grudgingly warming up to Lanny, but I'm happy that the guys genuinely want to help him move on. For his part, he is trying, and having people who believe that he is worth it will make all the difference. -
Oh this is torturous. Always when your team is in an upswing, something upsetting happens! I hope that won't hold the Leopards back at all. Maybe the arrest, may be the thing that finally frees Dave to where he can be a better functioning person and player. The Swans have a serious interest in Deon, but....Clarissa! This was an exciting if even a bit angsty chapter, and I liked it..

That was a great ending, and I'm so happy! Everyone is moving on positively, and it was nice to see. Happy that Adam found his someone, and Silas is with them at college. Even Addy made there, not that she would be anywhere else. Curious if the date that Silas chose was just a goal date or is more meaningful. Anyways. I'm going to choose to believe that things went well with Emma, and wait for the sequel where we see their lives afterward. Great story Cynus. Thank you!

When I went away to college, a friend gave my mum a letter to get to me. In it she described herself leaving no doubt as to who she was. Then she poured her heart out. I had no idea. She said when I went away she thought her feelings would go away too but they didn't. Writing to me was the only way she knew how to make it go away. We are really good friends now, and hers is not the only love letter I've received but it's the one I cherish the most.. So, yeah, love letters, I get it.

Meeting Across the River

Tommy is up and doing well, yay. Still tinged with sadness, but everyone is in the know now, and can begin to deal. I still feel for Adriano, knowing what he will have to go through, but his friends will be there, and his parents are solid. Unlike the other set of parents, who aren't able to see past their bigotry. CJ handled that confrontation admirably. I could not help noting that CJ basically accused the priest of molestation, and his comeback to was to offer up a firm hand to CJ's bottom. A 15 yr old no less. The irony. As if that would happen too, cause if CJ were to EVER have a firm hand on his bottom....lets just say, it would not involve a priest. Great chapter, Carlos. -
That was a great chapter Cynus. In a really brilliant way you managed to show us even more of the person Silas is and Adam too. Now that ending, I won't speculate but did you really have to do that?

Another great chapter! It bears repeating how in sync Michael and Kendall are with each other. Kendalls reaction to Carson's acceptance of the baby news was completely relatable. Family is not always blood related, that's a fact. Carson made me really proud here too. It shows how far he has grown and I am so happy for the boys. That Michael's dad knew the house, and they are all going to work on it together, too awesome, and it's further proof that it was meant to be. Carsons request threw me for a loop. I'm glad that Kendall and Michael have no problem with it. I mean it makes sense, and it's a total non selfish thing for them to do.

Umm, Tim? I'm all caught up! I know you warned me but.. So, I love that twin bond. This chapter especially, showed how much they really need each other. I think it was important for Russ to know that. And Russ, his development is slow, but wonderful to see. Innocent and eager, he is so endearing. Jacob just might be my favorite person. -
I'm really loving all of this so far.. Jacob's parents are just the best, and so supportive of Jacob and Russ. Watching Russell come into his own and discovering who he is apart from his twin is a beautiful thing. You tell their story so convincingly..

Your abusive ex shows up on the day of your romantic and sweet engagement to a wonderful man. A man who respects you, is patient and understanding. Nope, that's not how it's supposed to go. Unfortunately, for Wyatt and Bryan, that won't be the last of Darrin. Judging from the little Wyatt hinted at, he is trouble waiting to happen.

Another solid chapter. The team advances, deals are being made and accepted and you capture the feel of it all very, very well. It's unfortunate how Ty's reputation precedes him, made worse by the interference of his father. Glad there are people willing to give him another look based on what they hear and see At present. I'm hopeful for him and Deon, even Dave- whom I have such sympathy for his situation. Also, I kinda really hope Julie gets the job...

Whew.. Ok so glad that worked out. Adam showed such restraint, but I'm glad they didn't risk more than necessary. Simms and Higgins will get what's coming. You know as a kid, when you scare your parents by doing something so reckless, they hug you first, say they love you, make you promise never to do it again, then read you the riot act. Feels like that's about to happen for this lot. ...the band is coming!
