I love this chapter! Seeing things through Carter's eyes was really fascinating -- and an inspired idea. I think that you've handled the encounter between Cy and Carter sensitively, and tastefully. BTW, thanks for not making me read through 10 paragraphs of tedious sex. I basically get how it works without the requisite anatomy lessen. I was also touched by the way Carter reacted to Cy's extensive scarring; it really got to me. This is definitely becoming one of my favorite GA stories. Masterful job so far Ace. I'm definitely impressed with your work. Once again, thanks for posting.

Principal's Office Madhouse!
SolarMaxx commented on Aceinthehole's story chapter in Principal's Office Madhouse!
For a number of personal reasons, I found this chapter to be particularly satisfying. I love the way it is layed out, and the way it is written. I'll probably re-read the whole chapter again later tonight. I'm just now starting to see a little of myself in Cy. He's definitely one of the most interesting characters I've encountered since I started reading DomLuka's great stories. -
This story just keeps getting better and better -- and is rapidly becoming one of the best I've read to date on GA. Your characters are amazing; well defined and very believable. I'm really excited that you have decided to post this story Ace. You definitely have a gift for good story telling. Great work! Thanks much for your time and effort.

GREAT job Ace! I'm the first to admit, this chapter really got to me. Best one yet! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Unfortunately, I know at least two adult men that behave exactly that way! Some people never really grow up.

I guess we are all emotionally damaged in some way. Life can be a bumpy ride sometimes -- more for some, than for others! Cy is a really interesting and original character. I hope he can somehow find it in himself to rise above the unfair start he got in his life, and find love and acceptance in other human beings. I'm very impressed with this story Ace. Keep up the excellent work.

I've just started this story, and already I'm hooked! You have a great sense of character and voice Ace, and it's really comes across effectively in this first chapter. Great job so far. I can't wait to read more. Thanks for posting this.

There aren't too many feelings I've experienced that hurt worse than the misguided notion that somehow, I was the cause of another person's pain. Happiness is a choice that each of us must make every single day. I'm pretty sure that misery is also a choice, ultimately, although it is incredibly easy to blame that one on others! I sure hope that Billy can find a way to free himself from his guilt and self-recrimination concerning Jimmy. Life is too short to be held hostage to another person's pain -- and some people will never let you go.

What a beautiful and imaginative story -- unique and vivid, and wonderfully told. You are a truly gifted writer Wicked Witch, and I can't wait to read more of your work.

Chapter 67 Crying for Robbie
SolarMaxx commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 67 Crying for Robbie
Another great chapter Dodger. What relief to learn that Robbie will be leaving the hospital soon. BTW, I really enjoy the way you skillfully sprinkle Robbie's thoughts throughout the narrative. Hopefully he will have many more in a long and happy life, and fully recovery all his precious memories. Thank you for posting. This has been one of my favorite stories, and I'm definitely not very eager to see it come to an end! -
Jude reminds me more and more of my best friend in HS. Alas, I don't think there is a single gay bone in his perfect body! As adults, we're still best friends to this day -- maybe that's why ?

It certainly looks like Quinn is on thin-ice, and Jude is a blowtorch! Everyone should be so lucky!

Chapter 65 The Longest Day
SolarMaxx commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 65 The Longest Day
Hmmmmm . . . Daniel is becoming a real puzzle! Apparently he was able to accept a gay profile in his best friend over the years. But if in fact, he's pissed off because he suspects Robbie of the same, that's a new wrinkle in his otherwise mellow personsonality. Perhaps his behavior is fueled by jealousy -- not of Robbie and Nathan's sexual relationship -- but of their closeness, which would make Daniel the odd man out. I think we all hate that feeling, irrespective of the circumstances. The plot thickens! -
Chapter 64 Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
SolarMaxx commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 64 Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
What a shock for Robbie, that Rory isn't gay -- or at least claims he's not! In Robbie's defense, the Justin Bieber poster probably would have thrown me off too. Maybe it shouldn't, but it would have. I do give Robbie credit for having the courage to come out to Rory, albeit fueled by an ulterior motive and the force of wishful thinking. Just goes to show that things aren't always what they seem. And how dull the world be if they were! Great chapter. Thanks for posting it. Your characters are wonderful. -
A really nice level of tension, sexual and otherwise in this chapter Dodger. Great writing -- I can't wait to see what happens next. Thanks for posting this chapter.

This story just keeps getting better and better. You're a wonderful writer Don H. Your characters are extreame, but believable. The herios are admiral and your villains despicable, just the way I like em! I really hope you complete your story -- it's great! Thank you for posting it.

I have a really good feeling that it's going to be worth waiting for!

I'm always up for more Star Trek. From what little I've read, it sounds like it's worth waiting for. I saw some preliminary Discovery (ship) concepts on YouTube, and frankly I think they still have some find-tuning to do on it. But the characters sound exciting -- and there NO limit to the story possibilities. Can't wait to see what they come up with at $7 million an episode. Most expensive Star Trek Series to date.

WOW! This is beautiful, but it's so melancholy it hurts to read it. I'm hoping this dosen't reflect your current state of mind. If it does, I hope things get better for you really soon. I've felt like this before in my life -- so I think I get it!
-
I don't know why I waited so long to tell you that I really love this story. I almost never read unfinished stories, so I'm really hoping that you'll finish this one. Your characters are great and you're creating a very engaging plot. Great work! PS. Hope it dosen't end too soon

Week Seventeen Saturday, December 27, 2014: TLC
SolarMaxx commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Seventeen Saturday, December 27, 2014: TLC
I broke my steadfast rule of "not reading any more unfinished stories" when I started reading your's. I'm not sure why I started! One of my GA buddies recommended it, and I think I'm drawn to longer stories anyhow. I have to say, your's a sensitive and beautifully written odyssey through the adolescent mind. Your characters are interesting and three-dimensional, and the plot line is definitely a roller coaster -- just the way I like em! -
Great chapter Ace! It was really nice to see Jamie and Eli get some intimate time together -- and probably appropriate that they chose the back seat of a car for their first time. And thank you for not making me read through a dozen paragraphs of gross detail. I get how gay sex works, and I was kind of relieved to skip the anatomy lesson, hahaha! I know, I know! I'm probably in the minority on that one. Love the story! Keep up the great work! And welcome back
